I plan a few big things in terms of writing, so I needed to write down a few key points about this blog in advance (I'm not a good writer, but the ideas they're there anyway, I need to share)

I plan to write something on this blog once in never, so I need to clarify some things so I don't type it all down every single time.

I'm an average Toga Himiko enjoyer. She's not my favorite character ever, and I understand why some people don't like her, but she's my favorite character to draw. I think this kind of love is valid too.

Ochako Uraraka doesn't hold much of my interest (even if socionics says she'd be my ideal partner, heh). But character interaction is cool, so I'll include her in my content too, just don't think it's out of pure undying love (she's a sweetheart anyway).

I DON'T ship togachako (I rarely ship characters in general), but I like every single piece of content about them and find the whole dynamic fascinating. So yes, I'm willing to contribute, just... on the platonic side.

Some things I say about the characters may sound as overly critical or dismissive. It's not to offend the characters, or fans, or anyone else, I just point out flaws where I see them (being my usual blunt self). Just remember that a bad person doesn't mean a bad character specifically (works both ways).

I don't say the way I see the characters is the only right one. Quite the opposite, I always see them through the prism of my experience and knowledge, and it's The Charm about studying and loving things. I'm always willing to learn more and discuss. Discussion in particular is my favorite thing.

I respect your tastes. I don't aim to offend you. So please, save the peace of mind for us all.

LOL it was the idea I expressed in this post when I was coping with 431 sooo hard, so my opinion is clear lmao

But I also think Himiko as izuocha daughter can be either very fluff or very realistic study of hero families in the mha world

Because fluff can only work if izuocha take therapy and work on their traumas

Cuz if not it would be basically a family of two highly traumatized young people (a family of two traumatized workaholics I mean)

Just imagine Ochako with her constant sense of guilt telling her toddler daughter about how she let a villain girl sacrifice all her blood, and berating herself for not being able to save "auntie Himiko" and there the said toddler Himiko is sitting with a deadpan expression and is like: "okay if I was a literal child I'd be traumatized for life"

Himiko listening to her mother telling her about her gay awakening for the 5th time:

And also lmao imagine Ochako pregnant, and it's time to choose names and it's basically:

– okay ochako you know what I think

– I know what you think izuku

– if we have a son we call him tenko

– if we have a daughter we call her himiko

*they shake hands with an air of mutual understanding* (who knows how many hours it took ochako to convince deku they CAN'T call their son All Might)

What would be Himiko Toga's life be like if her ghost reincarnated into the birthed daughter of Ochako Uraraka and Izuku Midoriya?

HmmMMmmm *thinking hard bc this might be kinda cursed but at the same time, might be good thing too bc you know... She liked both of them romantically...*

I think she would be still the cutest girl in the world, also she would be able to live more happily. And if ochako notices that, she would hug her and cry like there would be no tomorrow 🤧🤧 (like their voice actors lmao)

Okay, now i wanna hear other people's thoughts about this too-

I'm gonna add that they're reaching out to her a bit differently

Like, look at their hands

Izuku may seem to do that a a bit threatening way, and you may think, like, wtf dude, you wanna grab her face or something? (I'm giggling a bit cuz he's literally closer to her cuz his quirk makes him faster than the girls lol)

Hell no. We don't know what exactly he wants to do (me too yeah), but... does he want to wipe her tears away? Or maybe he wants to cover her eyes so she doesn't see the horrors of the outside world? Plenty of options here, but notice that.

Himiko looks straight at him. And she's not afraid, not shocked, just meeting it head-on. Think about it :)

Next, Tsuyu. I see it as her reaching towards Himiko's hand. While not understanding Himiko completely, she tries to take her hand. While, much like Izuku, she might seem threatening, her intention remains the same.

And, of course, Ochako. It's all different here. While the other two are reaching towards her, she doesn't try to grab or touch her. She offers her hand. Himiko can take it. If she wants. Ochako recognizes the pressure Himiko has been constantly going through, and she doesn't add to that, and offers a choice. She's the only one doing the giving motion, not the taking one.

Well, that's all that I wanted to share about hehe, just thought about things for a while now 😓😓😓

I finally got my hands on continuing my Toga Tarot series yayyy

Really wanted to go with more of a childlike drawing style with this one soooo

Ten of pentacles is about family, home and security, having people who accept you and enjoying comfort and stability

This card kept me thinking: What if someone reached before it was too late? What if someone could give Himiko the life she deserved?

Now a bit of explainations on the text there. I just tried to imagine like she's kinda flower inspired, so why I don't give her kinda petal-like lashes??? (Gives me a bit of Furina vibes)

And you mentioned that she can reincarnate and stuff and I suddenly remember Noragami (the system is kinda similar but as I got it yours works without memory loss??) baby Jusa is just too adorable 🤧🤧🤧

And yeah I had a hard time figuring out how her hair works, but here we are I beat it into shape 😈😈😈

thoughts on Ochako's hero costume design

her character was clearly intended to be heavily astronaut-inspired. she loves astronomy, her quirk resembles open space, but the only thing that gives me vibes from her hero suit is the HELMET which wasn't even shown very often before they got rid of it entirely

and just imagine if her suit was really after an astronaut's, it'd give so much to her shape language, even more bubbly and round and more Uraraka, we deserve it guys!

but Hori decided that giving her a sexy look (gross, can we talk about sexualizing minors again?) was more important than making the design work better
