Our lives are harsh because we lack all the basic necessities of life. Everything has become scarce and unattainable. There is no food, no water, no medicine.

So, I ask you to help me keep my family safe and alive, especially after we had lost all our sources of livelihood.Please do not leave my family to struggle and suffer these difficult days alone. I cannot describe how excited I am for March 14th. It’s taken over eight years, but babies are finally getting the treatment they deserve. I can already imagine the adorable CC people are going to make. 

I woke up with a pit in my stomach. My very first thought after hearing the news was what this would mean for the people I love. I thought about my two sisters who are proud members of the LGBTQ+ community. I thought about my parents who were both planning on retiring this year. I thought about the people of color I know and how this will put their safety and wellbeing into even more danger. I thought about myself and others who struggle with reproductive health and rely on hormonal contraceptives to manage pain and KEEP their fertility. This is not me trying to virtue signal. I’m from a small, conservative town, and I’ve seen just how rampant hate and intolerance can be. Keep fighting and remember you matter, regardless of what the hateful bigots will say. Love still - and will always exist in the world. We can and will get through this.
