i feel like the season starting and ending with tyler means something but i don’t know what it means
Hi!!! I basically just discovered your blog five minutes ago and I love it so much omg. I saw that you've listened to 36 Questions which got me super excited cause I started listening to it today and it's so good! I love podcasts and musicals so this really reached peak level for me haha, and adding Jonathan Groff is like a dream come true. I have no one to talk to about it, so I was wondering, what were your thoughts on it? Sorry for bugging you out of the blue! I hope you have a lovely day <3
Hey! Thanks! Honestly 36 questions is by far my favorite podcast and It's so perfect and for me the more I think about it, the more layered and wonderful it is. I really like the character of Jase, and I think Jonathan is perfect as him. I won't spoil anything just in case you haven't finished it but, I'm not the biggest fan of Natalie/Judith because I empathize more with Jase. I think it's beautifuly done and they are both amazing singers. I'm happy you found it and are enjoying it! Thanks for the message!
ok i’ve never done this, but please send me skam asks!!! literally about anything, i love discussing the show and i’m on a long car ride and we’re stuck in traffic
I definitely empathize with both of them, particularly Isak, who is going through a period of intense self-discovery. But I was struck this rewatch by how mean he is towards Emma! The moment when he goes through his phone and looks at all of her texts to him that he's ignored made me so angry on her behalf. I empathize with his desire to cover his sexuality, but Emma is totally caught in the crossfire. Also, the way Even talks about Sonja is totally so disrespectful. In general, I do see why both of them act this way, but I think the inclusion of such bad behavior/misogyny needs to be more meaningfully explored because the show definitely relies on the audience's empathy as a crutch.
Can you forgive Isak and Even for any of their shitty behavior thus far (especially towards women) for the sake of their #love?
Level 1: Even and David showing up out of nowhere and having a beautiful face
Level 2: Joana sending notes to Cris on class and following her afterwards
Level 3: Eliott's "since i met you you're the only one that counts"
Level 4: Nico deadass going to Bracciano
Level 10000000000+: SANDER MAKING A FUCKING MURAL WITH ROBBE'S FACE ON IT
me: experiences an emotion me: *jared kleinman voice* absolutely not
