LMAO I WASN'T PREPEARED FOR THE LAST ONE!.
Poor Hanta man, he's slowly becoming the chair in the corner of the Hotel room, not even sure if he really want's to be there.
drew these when i really should be doing something else
Holy fuck a full break down hell yeah!
Love a good quirk breakdown and Tail Splitter is such an interesting one.
hello everyone. sometimes i make this mistake called "thinking too hard about bnha" and then setsunas quirk torments me for two months and next thing you know im knee deep in scientific papers about tunicates. many such cases. horikoshi really made me have to work to integrate the lizard portion in, because her regeneration is nothing like lizard tail regeneration at all, actually
please forgive me if my science is off, im a paralegal looking to go into art history, everything i know is just from my bio 102 class and my love of reading scientific journals i barely understand đđ
He has a flock of Robin's on him, he's screwed.
Weirdly enough Mineta is actually pretty fun to write when it's not perv jokes.
Did we also not remember that he shrugged of the stick burning up!
Like he shrugged off his life force being burnt! WHO THE FUCK ELSE HAS EVER DONE THAT!?
He is the physical embodiment of the word Beast!
Cleared a city of enemies, BY HIMSELF!
Wrecked house and home time and again and to top it of walked of having his life burn like Captain Underpants.
What a man.
theres lots of underrated and underestimated characters in pjo but absolutely no one does it like Frank Zhang. My man is descended from not one, but two major gods, was so good at archery that he was convinced he was descended from another god, can LITERALLY turn into ANIMALS, went from Probatio to Praetor in less than 2 months, and had his life force tied to a peice of wood because he was deemed too powerful by a literal GODDESS. if frank isn't your favorite or most interesting character that makes sense, everyone has their favorites, but I'm sick of people acting like he's not one of, if not the, most powerful demigods in the series
THE FUCKING ART OHH MY GODS IT'S MAGNIFICENT.
Also real, dude really lost to Teenagers.
No because if I was Viggo Iâd ALSO be fucking pissed off?? Like youâre this mastermind dragon hunter that is running possibly the largest operation in the entire of the archipelago that is family owned and ran with your older brother with hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of henchmen to do your dirty work and whenever people even MENTION your name they get scared and youâre this big strong powerful dude in his like mid forties but then a group of mother fucking barely adult stupid ass kids show up and successfully threaten your entire business model? Everything was fine yesterday but then this gaggle of incompetent fools show up with their stupid reptiles and suddenly youâre in a war??? AND the fucking malnourished stick insect of a leader they have has the AUDACITY to steal an ancient relic off of one of your predecessors ships??? AND THEN THEY BLOW UP YOUR ONLY MODE OF LONG FORM TRANSPORTATION??? AND THEN THEY RELEASE A BUNCH OF YOUR STOCK AND SINK THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF YOUR PROFITS BY SAVING THE DRAGONS YOU CAPTURED??? WHAT??? MOTHER FUCKER HAD EVERY SINGLE RIGHT TO START A WAR. HICCUP AND HIS STUPID ASS FRIENDS SHOWING UP AND JUST TANKING YOUR WHOLE ASS LIFE??? IMAGINE BEING A FUCKING KING PIN CRIMINAL EXPERT IN DRAGON TRADING AND YOU LOSE AN ENTIRE WAR TO A GLORIFIED WALKING EMBODIMENT OF AWKWARDNESS AND HIS 5 WEIRD LITTLE CREATURES HE TAKES AROUND WITH HIM. IMAGINE HAVING TO SIT THERE IN YOUR COOL ASS DRAGON HUNTER EVIL LAIRE AND PLAN HOW YOU WERE GONNA FIGHT OFF THE LITTLE RUNT OF BERK HEIR GUY THAT WONâT GIVE UP. IMAGINE?? FUCKING IMAGINE????
WHO WOULD NOT BE PISSED??? THAT MAN HAD A VERY EXTREMELY RATIONAL REACTION BECAUSE THAT WAS LITERALLY THE FOUNDATION OF HIS LIFE??? HIS ENTIRE CAREER GOT NOT JUST ENDED BUT FORCEFULLY FUCKING SLAMMED INTO A WALL OF CONCRETE AND CURB STOMPED BY A FUCKING STEAM ROLLER RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. I mean sure yeah he put up the biggest fight of the century and did his whole âIâm gonna mess with your head until you go insane and just fuck off and leave me alone you stupid little annoying boy get a life,â thing BUT STILL HICCUP WON THAT WAR AND THE AGE OF 18. EIGHT GOD DAMN TEEN.
eheheheheh
yeeeessss the sillies
More of my kids
Me, or anyone writing Mineta as a decent person, quite improbable.
Really want to explore more of the characters, give them other things to do, and Mineta's unexpected art skills are one of those.
Am I writing fan-fiction?
Yes, yes I am.
pretty
I replicated the sky seen in the episode "flying kipper"
Here it is for reference
Here is the Episode and the skybox by Comparison
it may not be accurate but i am playing with skylabs some more to try to make it more accurate
The horror on J'onn's face is incredible.
I LOVE CAPTAIN MARVEL SO MUCH â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
I finally found a way to draw him in a way I like so I can now shit post with Billy! He's so silly! If anyone has any suggestions for little memes with the Captain, then please send them my way, I'd love to have more to draw.
Denki: Right should I learned how to play Banjo or Violin?
Fumikage: Why exactly do you need to learn either of those?
Denki: Well if we want to branch out and play Jazz like Momo suggested, Guitar isn't really suited for Jazz, so I'm going to broaden my horizons, like Katsuki already plays the drums really well, Kyouka can play just about any instrument, Momo plays piano, your just better at Guitar, and Dark Shadow can play Tambourine.
Dark Shadow: I like that I'm included in the band, this is nice.
Denki: Of course best tambourine player of them all.
Kyouka: Okay but why Violin and Banjo?
Denki: Ohh I can already play Ukulele, and Banjo's have the same number of cords.
Katsuki: Since when could you play Ukulele?
Denki: Learned it in Middle School to impress a girl.
Katsuki: A ukulele though?
Denki: You got something against ukulele's punk?
Momo: And why Violin?
Katsuki: It's to gain a slight amount of sophistication he never had.
Denki: I would complain but honestly your right. Ohh I've just realised that I can play 'I have no more fucks to give!' if I play Banjo!
All Four: Your learning Violin.
Is that not normal for Hero course guys?
If not that doesn't seem un Tsu like.
I think its funny that most of the kids had relatively normal internships, and then Tsuyu just comes in like "yeah I threw hands with drug smugglers."
Alfred, Packs him up in one night, old service pistol, and a shotgun, if Bruce can't kill without succumbing to the dark, Alfred will walk that dark road with his hands behind his back and a bowie knife in his teeth.
What would not just be the most satisfying to see, but what feels the most appropriate character-wise and thematically?
... not that DC would ever actually let him be killed permanently.
(Obviously there's lots of other characters who could kill him, but Harley, Jason, and Batman are the ones I see most commonly put forth as who "should".)
Icons, truly
these poor guys
Haha⌠yeah⌠thatâd be crazyâŚ
Second teaser, pretty fun writing dialogue for a nickname heavy character like Katsuki.
Am I writing fan-fiction?
Yes, yes I am.
Honestly the best part about MHA is that you could stick heroes from any property you could think of and they could work with some fenagling, like watch this.
Metro Man
MHA Version.
Hero Name: Metro
Quirk: Frictionless
Is immune to the bounds of fiction when activated, sliding along floors, this friction is of all forms allowing for limited flight, has a limited range that can be extended to objects in their grasp.
There see simple, yes you lose stuff like the super strength but you keep a lot of the other abilities, super simple, and you can do this for most powers, it's great!.
Am I writing fan-fiction?
Yes, yes I am.
"Did you know you have really skinny hips that make a perfect place to grab and subsequently pick you up with"
"That's an interesting observation Kachan, but you also have skinny hips"
"ahh"
Katsuki is trying his best.

This man has the mentality of fighting a building if it got in his way. I don't think you could actively stop the man that can at least lift 25 tons and runs at maybe 20mph, if they are still doing exams with Teachers he would have to be weighted, he is a force.
You can't tell me he wasn't keeping up with a training regiment, I don't think he would stop.
You cannot convince me that for 8 fucking. Years Deku did not do any hero work. If you donât think Aizawa was dragging his ass to late night at the precinct with deceive True man over there to investigate some drug ring or syndicate then your lying to yourself.
Heroeâs would pop into UA like âyo, I need Deku to analyze this for my team for a raid. Literally the only person I know who can get 3 pages of info minimum out of five seconds of video.â
Deku doesnât have a quirk, but he is still trained and if you think he hasnât strolled into class late because he was decking some creep trying to mug a student in the ally them your wrong. Like mentor like mentee.
More importantly, we have seen time after time that Izuku is completely feral. Like batshit insane. Body moves on his own to help people. Like he stops crime so often on his way to work that at conâs there are fan posters of Hero Deku in a suit and tie because thatâs the costume heâs most likely to be wearing when he saves you.
Im just saying. Izuku was def an intelligence hero, but Bakugou gave him a way to finally stand on the front lines again instead of working from behind the scenes or in the shadows.
You see the BakuSquad isn't actually four idiots, Jirou and Bakugou, it's actually Three Idiots, Two Half Idiots and Bakugou, everyone's math has been really wrong this whole time.
I had a few ideas concerning that post about Midoryia in Gotham, and that got me thinking, does the MHA version of Batman have a quirk? Or is it the same as normal no quirk?
I my head he has one considering his age the murder of Thomas and Martha likely awoke his quirk, what would that quirk be?
Here's the idea.
Quirk: Constitution
Mental attack have no effects on the target as their mind is walled completely off, unreadable and unchangeable to mind altering abilities, if a person tries to read their mind they simply encounter a wall of inky darkness.
Basically it's just a version of Bruce's canon ability to make his mind unreadable, it also makes quirks like Brainwash ineffective, simply it makes his brain tamperproof, doesn't give him any greater abilities, it simply makes him strong against mental attacks, put's him in an Aizawa situation where he has a good quirk, but it's not going to win by itself, hence the rest of the Batman training.
The only reason why they have so many walls put up in their lives is because Horikoshi knew that if these two theater kids interacted and became friends would get along like a house on fire.
Shoutout to my favorite traumatized blondes who put on a somewhat false persona to mask their guilt and/or inferiority who are sometimes depicted one dimensional in the fandom but actually are really complex!
He really is a bit of a nucleus for some many things, like if you remove him for the equation so much changes, hell I think the whole dynamic of the class changes if he isn't present.
He really became the guy they looked towards, you have so many points where the other will go 'Right what would Midoriya do here' he had their backs so often that when he goes MIA they all show up without question, honestly Kaminari was the realest in that spat, told him to take a bath.
They all had something to say to him, they all had an impact, and he really go from a bunch of individuals to a group that had each others back, and they are to a degree by the end of the story ride or die.
Blue Lantern Activity.
Today's MHA ramble is either gonna be great or ineligible and there will be no in-between. I'm on my computer instead of my phone today so I can type so much faster, but, I am slightly dehydrated and out of it because I just spent like eight hours outside in the sun for a renaissance fair so maybe I'll just pass out half way through, who knows.
Lizzy's MHA thought/ramble of the night: MHA and why I think it does the "power of friendship" trope the correct way (IE: Not cringy/weird).
Now, I honestly think trying to wrap up the intricacies of the end of MHA in just "the power of friendship!!" is doing the series a huge disservice, but in its simplest form, that kind of is what happens. To be honest, I'm such a sucker for this trope. I love it when we get to see all the people the MC (Izuku in this case) has made an impact on over the course of the series and they all come together to back the main character, that is thee shit and I will eat it up.
However, the thing I love about MHA's approach to this is something we see explored a lot through the series: the idea that you don't have to go at it alone. Like, I feel like the ending has so much more of an impact because instead of them all the other characters standing behind him and going "Yay!! You can do it!! Good job!!" No, instead they run beside him and say "rest, we'll clear you a path. We know we can't do this for you, but at least let us do this".
Because that's what a friend is. That's what friendship is. It's realizing that not only is a friend someone you want to protect, but it's someone who protects you.
It gives me chills Every. Damn. Time.
It's through that we get to see the impact Izuku has made on everyone in the series. I joke with people that even when Izuku has nothing to do with something that's happening, he has something to do with it, and that really comes to a head in the final chapters. In a sort of ironic way, it's what ends up defeating All for One, because it's literally the only thing he never managed to get. Deku says as much while they're fighting, that deep down All for One really is just a lonely man. He had power, people to do his bidding and hang on his every word, but the top of the world is a very isolating place to be because there's no one who can look you in the eye. Followers and friends are two different things, a friend is an equal, a follower is a pawn.
I think it's why All for One was so attached to his younger brother Yoichi, because deep down, he knew All for One in ways that no one ever could. It was the closest to a genuine loving relationship he ever got.
Honestly, it's part of why All Might failed the first time around too. He had a few friends, sure, but in the end he was surrounded by mostly fans. People who adored and appreciated him, but did so from behind a barricade. All Might pretty much worked alone - and Deku definitely couldn't have made the progress he made without the trail All Might blazed - but Deku had the one thing All Might never did: People who fought alongside him even when he didn't want them to.
And, honestly? I can't blame All Might for avoiding it. After all, Deku almost does this same thing. They both wanted to protect people so badly they don't want to accept help. They see themselves as the only person who's allowed to make sacrifices because they're so scared they'll loose someone. It's part of the reason I find such comfort in Izuku as a character, because he never wants to see anyone else hurt because of him.
However, because Deku reached out first in the beginning, because he made friends and took care of them whenever he could, because treated them as equals, they said "too bad so sad, you get our help whether you like it or not, because that's what you'd do for us". It's the beauty of those final episodes of season six and why I love them so much, because 1-A had no reason to go after Deku other than they were worried about him. They didn't take no for an answer, because sometimes it's a friend's job to take you by the hand and scream in your face to "TAKE A NAP!!! EAT SOME FOOD!! YOU'RE WEARING YOURSELF DOWN AND YOU NEED A BREAK!!! SIT DOWN AND LET US CARRY YOU FOR A WHILE!!!"
It's exactly like Ochaco says, they don't want to be protected. They're not fragile victims to be looked after. They didn't get blindly wrapped up in this mess, they dove in head first because they cared about Izuku and wanted to stand at his side.
And therein lies the difference.
All for One had followers.
All Might had fans.
Deku had friends.
Followers will only do as they're told. Fans will only cheer on. But friends? You can't tell them to do shit, they do what they want, and if they want to help you then they will. Friends go the extra mile. Friends run beside you when no one else can. Friends clear the path for you so you can deliver that final big ass punch.
That's the magic of this trope, and you can see it so clearly here because it's realistic. And by that I mean Izuku doesn't get a magical burst of energy because everyone was cheering his name from the sidelines. It came from them actually doing shit to give him a chance. It came from Aizawa bandaging his wounds, it came from Iida grabbing his hand and half-dragging him across the battle field, it came from Eri giving a little bit of her quirk, it came from Bakugo showing up at the last second to blast the crap out of someone, it came from the countless attacks launched by the rest of the heroes to give him a chance to get back on his feet.
You know what they say, actions speak louder than words, and that's the magic of this kind of storytelling. We don't need to be told they care through chants or claps, they just show us.
That's the true "power of friendship". People who don't just stand beside you, but sometimes run in front of you so you don't trip over that stump in the path.
That's friendship. That's love. And I think that's incredibly beautiful.
...these posts get longer every time. Maybe I need to stick to my phone so my thumbs get tired faster. đ This is what happens when I'm allowed to cook late at night. If you made it to the end, thank you and I salute you.
Tried to redesign the riders to be a little more believable? ⌠as in convincing but not historically accurate? Tried taking the ac:Valhalla approach, I think they look kinda cool (pls ignore hiccup he was my test & I canât get him to look any better but this is more abt design than polish I guess)
The helmets were kind of a nightmare and irl Vikingâs defo wouldnât wear any of those designs but I wanted it to still feel like their helmets. Snotlout esp needed his horns theyâre too cute Iâm sorry.
Many know of the Red string of fate that binds two together, but I will always love the idea broached by Walter Scot of the Silver Link.
The Red string holds us to another by which of fate, but the lines of silver bind us together stringing between each aspect of ourselves, Silver binds our souls to us, from the body they spread like spiderwebs holding our hearts and minds to our bodies, and even connect to the red string twining to form that silver link carried over by the bridge provided by fate.
Another ability ramble but Kaminari never seems to use electricity from his left hand, he uses both hands to generate massive charges semi frequently and his right when running with his Pointer, but at no point does he exclusively use his left.
Now this is likely down to him being right handed and him knowing Flemings Right Hand Law, but I was thinking in true over analyzing fashion There has to be another reason!
Then I remembered back to when I watched Avatar, when teaching Zuko lightning redirection Iroh tells him to direct all of the energy through the stomach, now lighting redirection is the movement of energy from one hand to the other, moving through the stomach as to not have the energy travel across the heart and fatally injure the user of the technique.
Now technically it doesn't seem that Denki has issues with the electricity hurting his body other than his brain but knowing him he might have taken this advice to, well I was going to say heart but that's were it shouldn't be going, so stomach then. It also might have been slight fear that the generation could damage his heart in a similar way to his brain so he uses the right hand to keep as much power away from his heart as possible.
Considering that Todoroki was based off Zuko, it doesn't sound to far fetched to me that Horikoshi included this as possibly homage to Avatar.
