Amazing Spider-Man #25 - “Welcome to Omaha, Spider-Man” (2023)
written by Rainbow Rowell art by Alvaro Lopez & Andrew Crossley
in the earlier spider-man comics whenever someone is rude to peter his internal monologues feel like this
aunt may knows misusing furniture is the first step towards a life of crime. a wise lady.
(hello new followers! aw, look at all your bright shining faces. here’s a little spiddermin & aunt may as a thank you.)
It's always so funny how people characterize Peter Parker as someone who begins his superhero career bright eyed and grows into someone more cynical and pessimistic along the years when in reality it's the opposite and at 15 he held scorn for just about everyone in his life save for his Aunt May and at 25 makes unrealistic vows about no one dying under any circumstances when he's around
More proof of why Straczynski is one of the best
love that peter is simultaneously like "everything is my fault forever and all my friends die because of me and i carry a plague that negatively impacts everyone in my life" and ALSO "i have never done anything wrong in my life and i will not apologize for anything ever"
marvel stop ITTTTTTTT. STOP making movies. like for real stoppppp
i love peter as a theoretical concept but great googly moogly would I hate him if he existed as a real person. messy, lame, never responds, acts smarter than you and is, reads 50 shades, can’t name a single music artist, comes home at 3 am every night like we can’t hear his squeaky ass window smh
