ok, so it bothers me how disproportionate the support for trans men vs trans women is.
im not saying trans men dont deserve all the love and support in the world but so do us trans girls, like ill go to the ftm tag an see passing tips, clothing/binder hacks, an so much stuff but the mtf tag is full of chasers sissys an crossdressers. plus yall will post stuff like
all trans women are beutiful and need protection
but when one of ours sisters gets killed, or beaten yall seem to turn a blind eye??
not saying its everyone but ive mainly found that on tumblr an instagram. the lack of mtf support makes me so frustrated and mad
this is a poll taken from a trans support insta account. 176 people responed. 94% said they are FtM or nb which is fine, but only 5.6 percent were MtF. lets round the number up to 180 and with some simple math, 170 people out of 180 trans people (in this demographic) were FtM or nb, whereas 31 people are MtF. side note, when i look up MtF dysphoria help the first thing to come up is “FtM dysphoria and passing tips”. i was crying on my bathroom floor with scissors ready to cut my genitals off and when i looked for help it wasnt even for me and my sisters. the only passing and dysphoria help i could find is for closeted trans girls which is awesome but what about passing tips for trans women who are already out? the dangers of some trans girl things didnt even become known to me until i found a post on an obscure insta account with under 100 followers which detailed the risks of thing such as tucking, wearing tight push up bras, wearing excessive makeup for a long time, and sromach thinners/ waist boosters like coursettes. this is all i have to say but please reblog this. trans women such as myself and my sisters deserve so much more attention and support than we get.
TL;DR
trans women arent given enough attention or help is the trans community these days
reblog to help out our trans sisters out there closested or not
holy fuck can yall chill out. im just trying to point out a problem ive personally seen. if you think otherwise keep it to yourself because this post is not for discourse its about raising awareness. and who gives a singular fuck if im a transmed or not, respect my belifs and ill respect yours. and calling me ablesit @frogger-hates-pedos is so fucking wrong because i have a learning disability and it impacts my everyday life. yes ive posted questionable things in the past but they were MEMES. if you dont like or agree with what i have to say then please ignore it and saying that i shouldnt have a platform goes against the fact that i am a trans women advocating for our rights and addressing a problem ive noticed. thank you and have a nice night
nederland be like
I fixed it
some trans guy got mad at me for my last post so im gonna do some passing tips 💖
hair and face
the first passing tip i have is for hair is please please dont dye your hair. if you dont do it properly it will die and youll have to cut it back which wont be good. instead use biotin (i think its called?) to grow your hair out quicker and healtier. For face ill link some makeup tutorials on how to femminize your face. if you dont have makeup then try to wear jewlery ie:chokers, earings, necklaces, or other face items like round glasses or eyelashs (they can be bought for like 4 dollars at claires or a dollar store).
2. chest and upper body
one of the best things you can get for chest dysphoria is pushup bras, padding, or a sports bra. somethings thats worked for me that could work for some of you is use socks as padding if you cant afford padding or gels. the way to do it is fold them from tip to back and put it in your bra. it works well for hiding a flat chest or a lack of curves. another thing for curves is to wear waist liners, but dont make them to tight itll fuck up your ribs major.
3. tucking and legs
as a trans women whos goal is to pass tucking is a necisary evil. the way to tuck is to push your balls into theyre sockets and pull back the p*nis between your butt. to keep a tuck in place theres 4 methods ranked from safest to dangerous.
gaffs are special panties made for trans women to tuck tightly and comftarbly. they can cost anywhere from 15 to 250 dollars US. homemade ones can also be made (linked below)
multiple pairs of panties (usually 2 or 3) can be put over the tuck to make it stay (this is the method i use)
duct tape is very dangerous but works so well for things like bathing suits or lingerie. it can however rip skin and cause epidermal damage from the adhesives
and finally is hair ties. yes, some people do this. wrapping hair ties around the scroatal skin can cause blood lose and need for surgery to removed the killed skin.
for legs wear tights and mom jeans to hide a lack of curves (unless you have them).
and for the crescendo
i will link tutorials below but the best way is to push back your adams apple and speak from the top of your throat and not your chest. practice this on an app like voice pitch anyliser made for trans voice training
please reblog this so all our trans sisters can see💖

edit: @discyours suggested instead of sports bras which when worn for long periods can cause damage, to have vest bras i think theyre called?
you can get em at walmarts an costcos
Johnny Depp lost the trial against the Sun and I can't even begin to describe how shocked and angry I am.
Everyone saw the evidence. We all heard Amber Heard admitting to the abuse on tape. And they still ruled in her favour.
Me: wow i feel great today.
A friend: wow im so glad to hear that, you’ve been trough so much lately i hope you have more happy days coming.
Me trying not to burst in laughter: APRIL FOOLS!!!!!!! My life is still a mess and it get worse every day😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Reminder that being an ally doesn’t have to mean that you provide lengthy speeches or put on an elaborate display of your support if that’s not your thing.
Being an ally means standing up to bigotry and discrimination in your everyday life and taking small actions to make our world more equal.
