Dear Humanity,
I'm Haya from Gaza , from a family of 8 people:Ā my parents, two sons, and four daughtersĀ (two of them suffer from allergies).
I've witnessed the evidence of the tragedy that has struck our lives in Gaza, where my family and I have survived amidst numerous previous wars.Ā But today, we face the most dangerous and fierce battle in the current war. The urgent need intensifies for us, as we have nothing left and are unable to secure our basic needs such as food, water, and safe shelter.
Here is our story - On October 7th, our lives changed forever, my family and I evacuated from northern Gaza to southern Gaza, hoping to return soon, but it wasn't meant to be.Ā Our home was surrounded, burned, and then completely destroyed, Our home, once a fortress of hope, now lay in ruins, a stark reminder of our shattered dreams.
The night before we left from the north to the south was terrifying. Shelling sounds were everywhere, making a loud noise that felt like it went through our souls. EveryĀ explosions shook the ground like earthquakes, sending shockwaves of fear through our trembling bodies. filling us with fear. The air smelled of destruction and blood, making it hard to breathe. When dawn came, we saw the devastation around us, realizing our home was now a symbol of loss and despair.
We ran into the streets and with each step we took into the unknown streets, we felt as if we were plunging deeper into the abyss of our shattered existence, leaving behind everything we own in our home: Clothes, important official documents, the car, and literally it's almost everything - the enormity of our loss weighed heavily upon us.
Our home it was where we found hope, safety, and made precious memories. Losing it felt like losing years of our lives, leaving us adrift amidst the wreckage of our shattered existence.
A brief video depicting the devastation that struck our home and our entire neighborhood in Gaza.
Desperate Plea: Escaping Gaza's Allergy Nightmare
I, Haya, suffer from severe allergy to penicillin-derived medications, and my sister, Amal, also suffers from severe allergies to medications from my family such as Paracetamol and Ibuprofen.
These allergies create a deep sense of fear and anxiety for us, as we live in a constant state of tension and fear of anything that may require a visit to the hospital.Ā We fear being given inappropriate medications due to the unavailability of suitable treatments in GazaĀ because of war or lack of awareness and not informing the doctor of our allergies, which could lead to serious consequences threatening our lives.

Our dreams are heading towards oblivion in the labyrinth of an uncertain future
My story, along with my siblings, represents a united team of four individuals, three of whom are skilled programmers and one graphic designer. We work as freelancers in the world of freelancing.
As for my younger sister, she is a student studying at the College of Architecture. She has always carried a big dream in her heart, a dream of being part of changing Gaza, of making it more beautiful and better.Ā She looked forward to the day when she would receive her degree and start building this dream.Ā But the beginning of the war changed everything. The destruction of infrastructure and universities cast shadows of despair over her dreams.
When I think of my brother in Belgium, I can't help but feel deep sadness. He has been suffering from unbearable anxiety and insomnia since the outbreak of the war.Ā Sleep eludes him at night, and his physical and mental health collapses under the weight of these heavy burdens, negatively affecting his performance at work.Ā Problems and challenges pile up in front of him without the slightest opportunity for rest.
We all feel psychological pressure and extreme anxiety. The war hasn't been limited to external attacks but has deeply infiltrated our daily lives.Ā We search among the rubble for a little safety and the basic resources for survival. Every day comes with a new challenge that we must overcome.
As we sway amidst the rubble of shattered dreams, our souls wrestle and our hearts beat strongly challenging the ravages of war.
Our parents earnestly seek a way to rescue us from this hell, feeling the heavy responsibility for every moment we spend under the shadows of fear and destruction. They dream of a safe place where they can build for us a better future, filled with security and hope, forĀ we deserve life in all its meanings of comfort and peace.
Perhaps this fundraising campaign represents a light in the midst of darkness, it is indeed the only hope we cling to firmly.
I appeal to the world as a whole to hear my cry and the mournful cry of my family in Gaza. We need the helping hand that reaches out to wipe our tears and build a bridge to safety.
Your donation is not just a donation; it's an opportunity to rebuild life and brighten a better tomorrow. Be part of our hopeful story, for we need your hand to start anew.
The purpose of the fundraising campaign
The goal of this fundraising campaign is to rescue my family - my parents, my siblings, and me - through the Rafah Crossing to Egypt, which currently requires $5000 per person. This campaign is our only chance to stay alive, and I humbly request your assistance at this critical time. I will provide you with a comprehensive breakdown of the expenses, committing to transparency and clarity.
Thank you for your kindness and support.

yours sincerely;
Haya Alshawish.
I have another specific fundraiser Iād like to share with you all: today I spoke to Safaa ( @sfaamq10 here on tumblr), a mother to a little boy named Amir. Safaa and her husband Muhammed had their son inside a tent about 9 months ago, and theyāve been trying to provide for him ever since while raising money in order to get to safety.
As of writing this, theyāve raised about $15,975 out of their $75,000 goal. They still need around $60,000 until they can reach their target. Safaa has also had past accounts on here taken down, which has hindered her ability to raise the money she needs.
Please share this post widely and donate if youāre able to! Safaa and her family could really use the support ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø
I want to keep a simple memory of me with you if I die in this war. I may not be a professional artist, but I want to give you something that expresses my deep love for you. In many moments, sadness and despair filled my heart and I wished for death a lot, but your support and embrace of me was a beacon of hope for me. Israel killed a person I loved and adored and built my future with, but it compensated me with you (I am not exaggerating or flattering you), but you are a family to me. You may not consider me as such, but I consider you family and friends to me. If I die in this war, know that you have made me very happy with your support. Goodbye my friends. You are the most beautiful thing I have gotten in this war. This is the fundraiser I created to save my family. If you want to support me, donate to me and my family. I love you all.

Hello...My name is Mohammad Dawood, Iām 18 years old, and Iām from Gaza.
Like every family here, mine lived a simple life full of daily challenges, but we always found a way to livece. That was until the recent war, which left us with nothing but painful memories.
During those dark days, we lived in constant fear. Every night, we would hear the sounds of bombs getting closer, and the drone of planes overhead never ceased. We huddled together in a small corner of our old house, praying to survive. My younger siblings' eyes were filled with tears and terror. One night, the worst happened. A sudden missile strike tore through our home and shattered our dreams. Thankfully, every member of my family survived, but we lost everything we owned.
My father, Nabeel, who worked tirelessly to provide for us, lost his workshop in the bombing. I also lost my small job, which helped support our large family. All the savings we had quickly ran out, and we found ourselves homeless.
We were relocated to an unfinished school in Gaza. This school is not fit for human habitation. There is no roof to protect us from the rain or the heat, no clean water to drink, and we live in inhumane conditions. The children can't attend school because theirs was destroyed, and even the simplest things, like a peaceful nightās sleep, have become a luxury we can no longer afford.
My brother Youssef, who is 12, cannot sleep at night because of the sounds of explosions that still haunt him. My little sister Hala, who is only 6, asks me every day, āWhen are we going back to our home?ā and I have no answer for her. My youngest brother Mahmoud, who is 3, no longer knows what it means to play or laugh. The war has robbed them of their childhood and taken everything from us.
My mother Suha tries to remain strong, but we all know how exhausted she is. Every day we wake up to the same nightmare, not knowing when this suffering will end. We live without security, without a clear future. Life here is filled with fear and uncertainty.
We are now in desperate need of help. We need to build a new home, to provide a safe haven for my siblings and my family, to have a chance to live with dignity. Your support can restore the hope we lost and give us a new chance at life.
Your donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in our lives. Help us overcome this hardship and build a better future..
This campaign is for a doctor who works in the hospital and does not have time to publish her campaignā¼ļø It is our duty to help her as she helps the wounded in the bombing. Let's do a favor for the doctor
Every dollar will be a reward for her for alleviating the pain of those injured by the bombing.

Not to arouse pity, something happened to me today and I wanted to tell you about it. Today my sister shared with me a simple but deep and touching dream... She dreamed that she was eating chocolate - a small pleasure but dear to her heart. In all innocence, she told me that she wished to die so that she could eat everything she loved in heaven. Cuz for 400 days in this war we have not tasted chocolate and many things due to famine. Maybe it was a simple dream, but her thinking made me see life in a different way, how many small pleasures we sometimes deprive ourselves of, and now we realize them in the midst of this war.

Howdy folks, the Senate will be considering the first ever resolution blocking arms to Israel. This is huge and historic; it would block government contracting and about $20 billion in arms and support. This is an uphill battle, PLEASE urge your senators to support S.J.Res114-115. This is maybe the most important piece of legislation relating to Palestine that we have ever gotten and we must seize this opportunity.
This doc has information on the resolutions and their process, as well as sample messages and a phone script you can use. Please, use this moment to hear witness for your neighbors.

I donāt think youāre ready to have an adult conversation about politics until youāre able to admit that there are things you love and enjoy that would not and should not exist in a just world. $8 billion dollar budget movies every other month donāt exist in a just world. New 900 GB AAA video games every year donāt exist in a just world. Next day delivery doesnāt exist in a just world. 80 different soda brands donāt exist in a just world.Ā
All of those things come from exploitation on some level, and if you wouldnāt trade those for a world where everyone can eat and have a home no matter who they are or what they do, I donāt know what to tell you.Ā

art by the.gauntlets
gofundme for the family
The rustle of the winds,
The ruse of the gale,
The gaze which imbues.
Itās lies an everlasting rune
An unquestioned rule.
Bespoke the breeze which said with a smile,
āWhat a joke.ā
0. Origin. Creation. The Begining.
Tether to-and-fro, the frocks of the maidens and lasses, the laughter that hops buoyantly over the air, the smell of luncheons.Ā
Yes, this was home and more, the land which was once miles over, moved on-to a better place, under his jurisdiction.Ā
Did you know, that Mondstadt was once even more mountainous than Liyue? Whispers and laughter is what now fills the air, but once those were powerful gales which pierced even the land itself. Those were which the first birds flew on, and now those angry winds are gone, alongside the previous rule and the mountain caps. Now the natural terrain doesnāt train on those sharp airs funneled through high peaks, but calm and gentle ones said to match each breath of Barbatos.
Itās strange, how much change could happen over the span of 400 years. Itās strange, what something as elusive as corrosion could do. Because of it, a dragon lies, crystalline tears bead right on itās golem cheeks, several feet underground, under a monument marked with stone which remembers it only as a mad thing of no life.
Itās terrifying, waking up after several years of slumber, and seeing all of which once you cherished, to have undergone such significant changes, it is the reason why he prefers dreaming, drowning under the illusions of booze or straight to slumber underneath a breezy canopy or in the rough sheets of the inn.
It is why he forsakes the present and deigns everything around it. He can only afford to look forwards, with nothing else to think of but the necessities.
It hurt when he had to acknowledge Stormterrorās pain, and that he had both failed as a friend and as an Archon. But with little to lean on and feeling lost, he had been unable to lift a finger until someone else had passed by. A girl with bright hair and bright eyes, with a small chatterbox companion; their name, Lumine. A new face, but it was not unwelcome, as he gazed from afar her feats and willingness to help save Mondstadt.
In a way, it was also a punch in the gut, as this completely unheard of traveler from afar, managed to do the responsible things and managed to save both his friend and Mond when he could not.

By āDMs Openā what I really mean is that Iām in desperate need of a social life and want to connect with other people in the communities and fan bases I find myself in, but Iām too anxious to start a conversation with anyone first, and I worry that if I were to just text out of he blue the person Iām messaging may think Iām weird or a creep, and I know that Iād be on-and-off in terms of availability and emotional connection anyway, and itās not like Iām especially funny or charming and my texts are mediocre at best, but I really want to talk to people, only, wanting that makes me feel guilty because it feels like Iām treating the concept of āconversationā as a commodity and novelty rather than thinking of the conversation itself as one, and speaking of conversation there is a lot of lack-there-of on my part and I really want to apologize to people for that but I donāt want to really burden them with an apology or ruin the mood with it, so I end up straying away, spiritually ghosting them mid-text and then go without any meaningful social interaction for a month or few until I get the sudden itching urge to literally individually text everyone I know of to see if any want to be my friends, and I feel bad knowing that Iāll lose interest in conversating in a couple weeks anyway so whatās the point, and it all loops around and then I feel bad ācause I realize that Iām āaccidentallyā love-bombing everyone except itās not really an accident because I already knew this would happen, and then I feel even more terrible, then proceed to feel terrible about feeling terrible, but I still want friends, only, the last message I got was from a year ago and suddenly appearing back out of the blue to reconnect and then probably eventually gradually ghosting them is a terrible idea and theyāll probably think Iām a creep, and Iām probably overthinking this but human nature is wanting to meet and talk to people, even if it only happens sporadically when a white, three-legged calf is born under the red moon in Botswana or something, and I still want to talk but I donāt because I donāt wanna ruin anyoneās day or life or have them miss me if we somehow connect and I go and do my little antisocial bit, but I still wanna talk and AAAAAAAAAAAAA anyways, DMs are open B)
TW // Tommy death, hinted suicide
The first time he hurt himself was when he was only six years old. He doesnāt really remember it, and only knows it through tales that his family would recite to him and the etched scars across his body. They have forgotten now, as they have many other things.
They told him that it was a rainy day, or, that was how it was told most of the time. The grass was wet and slippery and heād fallen prey to it, after having snuck away from the family.
One wrong step; he tripped; he fell; and he couldāve very much died there, if they weren't already on the search for him already.
The horror didnāt really come to him. Not really, when he barely remembers it having happened himself, and he mightāve regarded it as a false memory if the scars didnāt exist as witness.
Though, thinking about it now, blood cold on his back and head barely functioning, with only the sound of the ocean in the distance, solitude, alone, he feels that maybe he hadnāt forgotten the horror, per se, but that the horror hadnāt existed in the first place.
