the world loves you the way i do.
you stand upon the earth as it sheds tears, knowing you will soon die.
death waits at his door
solemn and lonely
life holds you in its warm arms
granting you health until the day you will be buried.
or maybe fire will see you too.
flames licking your body as you fall into ashes.
maybe you will be spread into the ocean.
the creatures of the sea watching as you sink back from whence we all came.
or maybe the breeze will carry you through the land.
weeping at the loss of another soul.
the universe loves you, dear.
so why won't you love yourself?
