Since I Feel Bad About The Nagito And Kokichi Frenimies Fic Being So Short, I’ll Post A Piece That

Since I feel bad about the Nagito and Kokichi frenimies fic being so short, I’ll post a piece that I wrote from an old rp with a friend.

Basically it is a lot of the characters from all games (including Ultra Despair Girls) and in this piece they are being transported from one school to somewhere else. Coincidentally, Nagito and Kokichi did NOT get along at all in the RP but they both helped the MC/Reader figure things out for the trials.

Please beware that this fic mentions Blood, Scars and Kidnapping, along with the other possibly triggering topics from Danganronpa.

I hope you enjoy :)

    You woke up to see the inside of a small bus. Nagito was leaning against the window in the seat to the right of you, across the aisle, watching the surroundings. An unconscious Kokichi was in the seat right next to you on the left. There were bars separating the Monokuma driver and you three; the type you'd see in a cop car. Nagito wasn't wearing his jacket as usual, and you quickly noticed it was placed over your shoulders with your arms out of the sleeves. He didn't seem to be cold, but it was pretty chilly so you felt bad that he let you wear it instead of him. It was dark and rainy outside; definitely not the weather to go without a coat.

    You figured that Nagito had probably been awake for a while, seeing as he was calm about the situation; acting as if this was just a normal drive somewhere. He almost looked like he was bored. He had his arm on the bottom of the window and was leaning his head against it. You don’t remember getting onto a bus. The last thing you remember was standing in the hallway of the 5th floor of Hope's Peak Academy. ‘They must have knocked us out’, you figured.

You looked up through the front window to see another bus in front, similar to the one you were in right now. Looking behind you through the back window, you saw a few more buses trailing behind. ‘Maybe they’re be relocating us for some reason, though why they decided to split us up, I'm not sure.’

When you turned to look through the back window, you felt a sharp pain in your stomach. You dismissed it as  hunger pangs, as you knew you hadn't eaten much today.

  You placed your arms over your stomach and it seemed to help it feel a little better. At that point, Nagito noticed you were awake, but didn't say anything. You decided to break the monotonous silence, aside from the rain pattering and the engine rumbling through the bus.

"Thanks.. For the jacket, I mean." You said.

He picked his head up and turned to you.

"Of course. I assumed you would be cold, and someone like you should be warmer than someone filthy like me." He smiled a little, as if he hadn't just insulted himself. It's almost as if he didn't realize he was being self-deprecating.

Deciding to ignore the last remark, you  just shook your head and continued.

"If you get cold let me know, though, so I can return it to you, okay?"

"...Alright." It seemed like he wanted to decline, but decided against it. He just put his arm back on the side and leaned against it again.

You looked out the window and watched the road stretch on. Aside from the other buses, there were no cars on the road. You wondered why they left the windows uncovered. ‘You'd think they would cover them or even keep us knocked out long enough to get to wherever we were going.’

After who-knows-how-long, Kokichi started rustling. He sat up groggily and looked around confused, as you had done not long ago. After waking up more and taking in his surroundings he turned to look at the two of you.

"Why are you wearing his jacket? Are you two dating now or something?" He said, looking disgusted; however he was obviously joking.

"Well good morning, sunshine. Why were your legs on my shins? Does that make us a couple?" You shot back, also joking.

He looked a little shocked, but still chuckled and quickly moved his legs.

"Soo... Where are we?" He said, looking out the window, though there was nothing that could be used to your advantage to figure out where you were.

"Your guess is as good as mine. Nagito's been awake the longest, since I woke up not long before you did." You shrugged and turned to Nagito.

After hearing his name, Nagito turned to face you and nodded,

"That's true, but I haven't seen a single sign or building since waking up. So we still have nothing." He sighed and slouched.

You could tell he didn't want to say anything if he didn't need to. Seeing as they both disliked each other, he probably didn't want to aggravate Kokichi or end up upsetting himself.

Kokichi huffed and went to cross his arms but winced and put his left arm back down. "Ow.." He muttered

"What’s the matter?" You asked.

Even Nagito was focused on the situation. You both waited as you watched Kokichi try to shake off the pain.

"That really hurt. It felt like I've been stabbed in my arm." He was looking at his arm in the sleeve as much as he could without moving it around.

"You might need to pull up your sleeve. There might be something underneath." You said sitting forward a little.

"Yeah but.. It's near my shoulder at the back, so even if I could pull up my sleeve that high- which I don't think I can- I won't be able to check it." Kokichi said, slouching a little at the realization that he'd need one of you to check it for him. "I'm sure I'm fine though." He said, but that was clearly a lie.

"That obviously hurt. I can check it for you." You sat up further and started leaning towards him, putting your hand closer to his arm to take a look.

He slapped your hand away with his uninjured hand.

"No. You don't need to take my shirt off for me. I’m fine." He said, turning away from you, and he seemed to be in a sour mood. He leaned up against the window, probably to use the cold window like an ice-pack, though he looked pained when his arm came in contact with the glass.

"Well I'll gladly switch places with Nagito so he can check for you, if you’d prefer that." You sat back the way you were a minute ago.

Your stomach stung from moving, but you didn't want to worry them with that fact, and you hadn't noticed it as much because were worried about Kokichi's arm.

Nagito sighed.

"Sorry, but I don't think I'll be able to swap places with you." He gestured to his legs, "It seems like they’ve sliced my legs. Right above the knee. I hadn't noticed any blood- if there was any- because of how dark my pants are but when I went to put my jacket on you, I couldn't properly stand to do so. I didn't mention it because I assumed my luck made me get hurt while we were unconscious. That doesn't seem to be the case, however..." He continued.

"So, do you think they harmed us all so we wouldn't, or rather, couldn't fight back?" You said. No wonder your stomach hurt, it was probably caused by whoever's working with Monokuma.

"Well, that makes sense. But you don't seem to be in pain. So you could still do something, right?" Kokichi said to you, now holding his, assumed, injury with his right hand.

"..." You paused before answering. You weren’t totally sure if your stomach was damaged in some way, or if it was just hurting, but you didn’t feel comfortable pulling up your shirt to check right now.

"From what I saw when you first woke up, when you went to turn around to look out the window, you winced in pain as well. And since you had your arms over your stomach for a while, I'm assuming that's where they hurt you too? If that is the case, anyway." Nagito piped in. You didn't realize he saw that, but it seems he's a lot more observant than you’d thought.

"Yeah, that sounds about right. But I don't know if that's from hunger or if that's from the Monokumas." You said.

"So why don't you check? It's somewhere that you could check easily, so you won't need help." Kokichi said, clearly getting annoyed.

"Yeah, but I can't just go pulling my shirt up to check. It’s just uncomfortable to do that right now.." You said, slouching a little.

Kokichi sighed, shook his head slightly, turned more towards the window, and kept his gaze outside. You could tell he was irritated, not because he had to look away, but probably because of the situation you were in.

Nagito also turned his body towards the window, leaned his arm against it and rested his head in his hand. He even went the extra mile to close his eyes, though you weren't sure if that’s out of respect for the situation, or if he was just tired.

You took your left hand and held both sides of Nagito’s jacket closed in front of you as extra covering, and lifted your shirt underneath. As you’d expected, you had a clean slice on your stomach. Though for some reason it wasn’t bleeding, nor did it look all that fresh. It looked more like you’d been cut a few days prior and it was just starting to heal. You were upset about the fact that they went out of their way to hurt the three of you, but at the same time, it intrigued you as to how it could look so healed when you couldn’t have been asleep for more than a few hours.

You lowered your shirt and let go of Nagito’s jacket.

Kokichi hadn’t, and couldn’t, check his wound and Nagito probably couldn’t check his either, which was why you’d assumed the reason you hadn’t seen blood was because Nagito and you both wore dark clothes near the wounds and from the angle of Kokichi’s wound, you figured you wouldn’t have been able to see blood even if there was any.

Even though you had finished checking, the boys stayed looking out the window in silence. You were sure that you reaction, or lack thereof, proved the theory true, giving them no reason to ask whether or not you were right.

You thought about also sitting in silence, but the fact that there was no blood on your stomach at all was something that should probably be mentioned, especially since you needed to work together. You leaned forward.

“Hey! How long were we asleep for?” You yelled to the Monokuma driver, though there was no response. You hadn’t really expected for there to be one.

The boys both turned and looked at you; Kokichi, again, looked confused and irritated. Nagito just looked tired.

“There, uh.. Wasn’t any blood. I just thought it was odd, if we were only asleep for a few hours, there’d be blood, right? At least dried blood, right? It was completely clean, and didn’t look that fresh..” You said, sitting back again.

Kokichi just looked more stunned but Nagito seemed to be thinking about the implications of what you’d just said.

“Are you saying that we’ve been asleep for longer than a day, at least..?”

“Seems like it..” You said, sighing.

Nagito just shook his head at the thought. He wasn’t disagreeing with you; it was more of a disappointment in the thought of the Monokumas and their actions.

TW Saeyoung walking in on you c//ting

~Post type: Short story~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You promised yourself you wouldn't do this anymore
You promised. But yet, you couldn't stop yourself. One moment you were brushing your teeth and getting ready for bed and the next you were reaching into the all too familiar tin in the back of the bathroom cabinet. You stopped yourself for a second; what would you say if anyone saw you right now? They'd probably ask you why.
Why? You didn't know. It was just.. Something you did sometimes. You just needed the slicing pain to know you could still feel pain. Almost as if you needed to remember there wasn't just happiness in life. But no, that wasn't it. It was because you felt deep down that you didn't deserve the happiness. You took out one of the thin razor blades and placed it against your thigh, just high enough to be unnoticeable unless you were naked. You took a deep breath, closed your eyes and sliced. You hissed and went in again, slightly higher this time. Two was enough, you told yourself. You rinsed the blade and placed it back in the tin, tucking it away back in the cabinet. Just as you were grabbing a cloth to clean up the thin lines, now with beads of blood popping up and trailing down, you heard a knock at the door. "Honey, you've been in there for a while," You heard Saeyoung say through the bathroom door. "Are you getting dressed all nice just to sleep? Or did you have something else in mind?" He was teasing. "Oh, um no I-I'm okay. I'm just... Cleaning up." You stammered, trying to stop the bleeding, but the beads kept returning. "...I'm going to come in, is that okay?" He said, a serious tone in his voice. "Um, just-" You tried to say, holding the cloth under cold water, trying to wash off the blood and use the cold to stop the bleeding. You looked over at the door, noticing you forgot to lock it. Just as you were about to reach for the knob, the door slowly swung open. Guiltily, you pulled up your pajama bottoms and held the cloth behind your back. "Hi." You said, cheeks flushed and hands behind your back. You were sure you looked guilty, but you still tried to act normal. "Honey, what happened? Are you okay?" He said, cupping a warm hand against your cheek. "Um I..." You started. He kissed your forehead, and seemed to spot the cloth behind your back. "MC," He said, gently reaching for the cloth. He rarely ever called you by your name, only reserved for serious conversations. You didn't fight him, and handed it over. "What happened?" He was calm, but you could tell in his eyes that he was worried. "I... I'm sorry." Was all you could muster. You started tearing up. "I'm so sorry, Sae." "Hey. Come here." He wrapped you in a hug. You laid your head on his chest and could hear his heart drumming away in his chest while his shirt was getting more and more wet with your tears. He tossed the cloth in the sink and held you, both tightly and gently. "I'm sorry. I wasn't going to do it, but it was habit, and- And I just wasn't strong enough not to. I'm so sorry." You sobbed, grabbing the back of his shirt. He could figure it out from your ramblings what had happened. "It's okay honey, you're okay." He stroked your hair, and slightly rocked side to side, holding you close. "Do you need to be cleaned up?" "I don't know, that's what I was doing when you came in but..." You said, sniffling and trying to calm down. "Okay, hold on for a second," He bent down, and lifted you up, placing you gently on the small counter behind you. He placed a soft kiss on your lips, and tucked your hair behind your ear. "While I clean you up can we talk for a bit?" He talked quietly. "Yeah." You said, taking a deep breath. "Okay, where is it?" You wiggled your bottoms down, so he could see the- still bleeding- cuts. You turned away, ashamed at the wounds. "So," He started, grabbing the cloth and wringing it out so it was only damp. "What happened, My Love?" "I just felt a random urge and I figured I'd done it before without getting caught... I told myself just this once and then never again." You said, turning your head to look at him. He gently wiped the cuts and the blood around them. "Tell me if I'm hurting you, okay?" He said, rinsing the cloth and wiping your legs again. "Okay...” He nodded, urging you to continue.
“Anyways, I figured I needed to." You closed your eyes, not able to meet his. "You needed to? Why did you need to, baby?" "I needed to remind myself that there's more than just happiness in life." You felt ashamed to admit it, feeling your eyes filling again. "Can you look at me for a second?" He said, placing the cloth over both wounds and pressing it firmly. You opened your eyes, and tried to blink away your tears. "You're right. There are things other than happiness and love in life." He smiled, bitter-sweetly. "But that doesn't mean you have to feel all of it. I told you before and I'll say it again, I don't ever want to let you be in pain. Especially not because of me. When we first met, you told me that you wouldn't be in danger because of me. Do you remember that?" You nodded. "So, I don't want you to feel like the love that I give you needs to be evened out with pain, okay?" He kissed your cheek and wiped your tears. "Okay." He picked the cloth up off of your leg and grabbed bandages from the cabinet. You spotted the tin at the same time he did. You looked away in shame. You heard the rattling of the tin and the small bandage box. You looked back at him, his hands holding only the bandage box. He carefully unwrapped a few and gently placed hem on your leg. You noticed his tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth, as he always does when he's focusing. After he placed the bandages, he lightly fluttered  kisses around your wounds. When he placed the box back in the cabinet you noticed the tin was gone, but you didn't see where he'd moved it to. He helped you pull your bottoms back up and wriggle off the counter. "Are you feeling better?" He said, lifting you in his arms. You wrapped your arms around his neck and your legs around his waist. Nuzzling your head in the crook of his neck, you nodded. "Good." He carried you back to your shared room and placed you carefully on the bed. "I'll be right back, okay?" He said, kissing your forehead and stepping away from the bed. You almost asked him what he was going to do or begged him to stay next to you. But you were too tired to press, and you figured you knew what he was doing anyway from the way his pocket rattled. You could just wait for him with your eyes shut. After a few minutes, you stirred back awake to feel the bed dip. "Sorry to wake you up." He said softly. You just turned to face him and nuzzled in closer. "S'Okay." You hummed. "I love..Sae.." You said, drifting back to sleep. "I love you too, Honey."
arcade, picnic baskets, vinyl and sunflower? for the funky asks!
Arcade: Color of your socks?
Right now, I’m not wearing any so I guess clear?
Picnic baskets: Your favorite picture book?
I remember reading Dork Diaries a lot, if that counts. Or The Giving Tree
Vinyl: Your favorite scent?
Anything vanilla-ey, or those “evening fireside glow” candles
Sunflower: What makes you nostalgic?
I find that music from my childhood makes me a lot more nostalgic than scents, or places from my childhood (especially since I move a lot so I can’t go to nostalgic places, but music can come with me :D)
