I want to emphasize that Puen & Talay had a mutual love at first sight moment.
It's not just the physical contact. Talay doesn't idolise Puen as a celebrity, he only meant to keep distance & avoid looking creepy. So he's basically having a "Fuck he's too attractive my heart can't take it" moment.
Puen on the other hand finds Talay cute. Initially he must have assumed Talay as another nervous fan. He's a celebrity. He must have met so many people who tell that they're friends are his fan. He couldn't resist, plus he had to be polite as a public figure. This he accepted the present.
Now for the deciding factor. I want to believe Puen was just being nice. When he told the person who drew the alpaca which looks like a lama must be cute. It could mean one of the 2 things
If your friend drew this, I think it's cute they put in effort to customize it
If you're nervous & using friend as a cover, then you're double cute considering point 1 as well
Just look how he pauses to call Talay cute with an endearing smile when he learns it was he who drew it.
Puen has to keep his distance with a fan but his smile of intense adoration shows he finds Talay charming. Maybe even attractive. And if it was in another world where they were not fan-celebrity he'd want to get to know Talay (WHICH IS PRECISELY WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AFGSVAVAJW)
This scene is PROOF that Talay is fucking attracted to Puen. He has poise, charm & consistent (from his interaction with the director, he's still as polite as he was at the airport) Puen even tried to communicate & make Talay comfortable when he could've just tried again without having to talk to him.
Talay's repeatedly being put in a situation where the man he's attracted to is being nice to him & has his face literally centimeters away from his own. He's losing it & we're here for it 😂🥰✋🏼
Now for Puen. There was ABSOLUTELY NO need of fixing the hair & makeup of somebody playing dead. Because it's not mentioned that it's some protagonist who NEEDS to look beautiful even in death to evoke pity 😂
Puen got a chance to be near the person he had a fleeting crush on. He's just living his best life by living in the moment & going "OMG I touched my crush, he's so close to my face, he's gorgeous!!" 😂😂😂
Puen is DEFINITELY the one who's whipped more. Just look at him 😂💙🤍
Because Talay is gleaming with joy on his job offer & it has nothing to do with Puen. In fact, he must be frustrated as it's disrupting his shoot & schedule
But here he goes, smiling to himself seeing his crush be happy & finding it cute.
On an important note, Talay knows it's most likely a celebrity crush & Puen is not someone accessible in his social circle.
But Puen is falling hard for Talay's transparency & overall nervous, awkward behavior & we're living for it.
In conclusion Talay is having a Y/N moment that none of us never had 😔😪
1. Makkachin snuggling with Yuri to the point Victor gets jealous 🤭
2. Yuri sharing about Vicchan and Victor & Makkachin giving him a big warm hug
3. Pichit meeting Makkachin & flooding his feed with posts of them (please that would be so adorable he’s such a good friend and lovely guy)
4. A family portrait of Yuri & Victor holding Makkachin featuring their engagement rings!!
5. Ok a bit too much but agape should be about Makkachin fr bcs what else is unconditional love 😭
6. Nishigori triplets pampering Makkachin when Yuri and Victor are away for tournament !
7. Ok lastly Minami petting Makkachin when they gathered for the tournament cheering 🥹
Puen & Talay falling for each other & not at the same time is so bittersweet.
They've practically grown attached to the person they don't entirely know even after a year together.
Puen knows Talay's dreams as a colorist, that he dislikes all but bacon pink. He has a sweet tooth. Plays guitar. Sings well. He's very sincere and serious when it comes to people & emotions. But he doesn't know why he gives mixed signals to his obvious flirting. Why he's so determined to push him away. He has no clue why such a ball of sunshine is cynical about love. Puen knows a lot about Talay's details like name & birthday. The fact that his entire life as "Tun" has started revolving around Talay isn't helping him at all. The possible reason he's keeping secrets I've mentioned here.
Talay can't accept a person he doesn't know. He has seen Puen be his most vulnerable self. Sure he might be confident, independent & flirty. But ultimately he's just a clingy baby around Talay. He's playful, lively. There's hardly any dull moment with him. Talay finds himself naturally drawn to him. He subconsciously observes everything this "Tun" does.
But the guessing game hurts. Sure, he's falling for "Tun" the playful, clingy & sensitive boy at his core. But how can he accept someone whose name he doesn't know. How will he find him once they go back. What will he do if they don't go back to together. If he's going to date, he's not going to waste time unless they're in it for the long run. And that also means Talay needing preparation to adjust to Puen's schedules & fame.
Communication can solve the problem. However the problem is also their fear of losing each other after initiating the difficult conversation. This is a classic trope for falling for a best friend except, they do not fall under any label at this point.
I think the best part of KinnPorsche, and it really comes to mind with this latest episode, is that every character thinks they’re in a different genre and it’s the funniest thing watching it clash with the reality.
Kinn is just living his best rom-com life where he falls for his sassy but kind assistant bodyguard that he can no longer live with out.
Porsche is basically a YA novel where he falls for his sexy morally ambiguous love interest who’s secretly sweet but *gasp* his past has come to haunt him!
Pete thinks he’s in a dark psychological thriller where he must battle his inner demons and brooding but hot captor to maintain his humanity but it threatens to over take him at any moment as he is torn between his newly found dark desires and the reputation he prides himself on.
Vegas acts like he’s in gothic bodice ripper novel where his entire world becomes the kind, empathic heroine Pete and he will do anything to keep him to himself and Pete is going to help him overcome the truama of his past with his love.
Kim sees himself in this brooding noir style detective film where he must uncover the dark past of his family but oh no he finds himself falling for the pure and sweet ingénue Chay and must wrestle with the dangerous life he leads and the mission he’s devoted himself to and the love of his life
Porchay thought he’s living his Wattpad dream life where he meets his idol and gains his respect as he tutors him and they slowly develop a sweet friendship that turns into a heartfelt romance
They really demonstrate how all the characters are protagonists of their own story, and that’s how they make their decisions, based on the assumptions on the world around them. They think they know the story their in, and that’s the role they have taken, but the tragedy and the complications of these relationships is that they aren’t in a single genre story. They’re people, achingly human people, interacting with other complex people and what is salvation for one is a damnation for the other.
They aren’t in any specific genre (you know, beyond on the whole mafia thing) and that’s where the miscommunication happens, that’s how the drama unfolds, that’s how all these different romances keep missing each other, because they’re all operating on different wavelengths based on the story they think *THEY’RE* in and not stopping to really consider the other perspective.
It’s absolutely hilarious, it’s terribly tragic, it’s utterly beautiful and performed so well by the writers and the actors.
VegasPete as Macau's parents incorrect quotes
Macau : I'm home!!
Vegas (in his sexy English accent) : How was school? Are you doing well?
Pete (storming in while yelling in his southern dialect/accent) : B-?? AGAIN?! How do you expect to go to Harvard med school with these grades, huh?
being single in your late 20s & 30s is so fucking wild bc on one hand it's fun and flirty and you skip a lot of the bullshit because you know what you're looking for and you know how to spot a red flag from a mile away and you've learned to set boundaries and communicate your own and be upfront about your needs and most of the time they've learned it too - and if they haven't, you can tell after the second date that they haven't been to therapy
and every time you feel lonely and dried up and an ugly husk there's a whole community of other single people out there who are just as unhinged and want to hang out with you because they just need a plus-one like you do and you get introduced to like. people in their 60's and 70's and 80's who are all like - nope, single life is my choice and i love it and you feel warm and seen and like okay, it's not the end of the world if i'm not seeing anybody. and yeah it's hard and sometimes exhausting but part of getting better is that you do make like so many friends and do so much wild shit because you made a promise to yourself that you'll actually get out there and try shit and actually work on your hobbies and skills and friendships because to be honest in relationships you wouldn't push yourself this hard and it's actually been super rewarding because it came from you and from what you wanted
and yes of course the apps such and dating in general can suck but after one of the bad dates you go back to your apartment and call up those friends you made and make jokes about what the other person said and it rolls right off your back and you have plans for self-care in the morning. you prioritize yourself and your happiness and you really actually don't mind it, a lot of the time, unless it's like at a wedding and they're doing one of those couples-related things. most of the time it's not even a problem except when you can tell people pity you for it and you're like - i'm actually fine, babe, even without a partner i am still, like a person and yes of course it would be nice to have a partner but you have established yourself as a person and as an adult in a way that feels really hard-won and well-earned and you're protective of that and of the life you're living and honestly you're pretty happy, all things considered
and at the same time you do have to tell your father that you are single on purpose right now and that, yes, believe it or not, they're letting women be single past the age of 30 these days without burning us at the stake (can you imagine!) and you have to kind of sit pretty while people make jokes about how you're losing your marriageability and you're like, a little too old for the bars and the clubs and whatever but you do still want to go out dancing and it's like. the other day you went to a board game party and had the time of your life and then your mom calls you and says she's worried because what if you never find the one, shouldn't you be spending more time looking? and you're like - trying to balance this place where you're actually, like, perfectly okay? except you hear this thing over and over and over - oh no. that's so sad. i hope you find your lover. and you weren't really upset about it until someone suggested that you're running out of time and until someone said that it's so miserable that you live without someone to kiss and you're like why can't anyone believe that i'm genuinely happy. like. joy. like. bliss.
and then they look at you and they look at their partner and the look passes between them that says - poor thing. you're just lying to yourself about this.

Soulmates. Better half. Portkeys. The love of your life. CMBYN & Vice Versa's plot at their core are essentially these aforementioned concepts.
Call me by your name is inspired from Plato's Symposium. In Greek mythology, humans were originally four-limbed, two-faced creatures; split apart by Zeus and condemned to spend their lives looking for their other half.
According to Symposium, one's quest for a female or male half depends on the nature of their original being. The relationship between the halves is subjective, but is ultimately companionship.
However, when one meets their other half, be it a lover of youth or a lover of another sort, the pair are lost in an amazement of love and friendship and intimacy, and would not be out of the other’s sight, as I may say, even for a moment.” This is the highest form of love — “the people who pass their whole lives together; yet they could not explain what they desire of one another.”
"Call me by your name and I will call you by mine" implies that "you and I" are one being that was separated. Now Talay & Puen share parallels to Oliver & Elio.
Puen and Talay are going through something similar (as of ep 6) The duo find themselves naturally drawn to each other, but they do know what they desire from each other. They briefly even feign ignorance.
As for the concept of portkeys, it once again refers to the idea of 2 people who are destined for each other. Like a match made in heaven.
Puen is carefree like Oliver. It is very evident from his confidence when he says things like "I kissed you because I wanted to" or "I should simply marry my colorist then"
For a non believer of love, Talay treats love sacredly. He's quick to draw boundaries & teach Puen that love cannot & should not be faked. He's cautious, sensitive to language & doesn't take things for granted, just like Elio. Puen revealed himself to Pang in the first meeting but not to Talay who was practically joined to him by the hip on most days. Talay tries to hide his envy by telling Puen to get close to Pang by calling her his prospective portkey. This is parallel to Elio's jealousy over Chiara. And his attempt to objectify her to strike up a conversation with Oliver.
Although most Call Me By Your Name ends with Elio getting a little more cynical, here's to manifesting that Vice Versa will end with Puen feeling a lot less lonely & Talay losing his cynicism about love.
PS Call Me By Your Name is set in a town by the coast & a lot of scenes are on the beach. Talay happened to drown while playing at the beach. Not to forget his name itself means "Sea" (And the actor's nickname IRL is Sea lmao 😂)

Pakorn vs Puen
Kim : So what's your type?
Chay : Handsome, musician, kind, good hair, oblivious, charming, mysterious and talented.
Kim : Sounds a lot like me...too bad we're just friends
Chay : Did I mention oblivious?
Kim : Yeah, why?
Chay : Okay, just making sure
