Imagine Peter all dressed up, a 1950s housewife/husband, cleaning the house and making sure dinner is on the table for his hardworking husband. Imagine the scene from WandaVision where they’re in two separate beds. Imagine Peter being the naughty little twink he is and trying to seduce Tony into moving the beds together (it wouldn’t take long). And wait… what’s that? Peter’s suddenly magically pregnant?! Tony would be freaking out and Peter would just be adorable. Just imagine them having the perfect little life and perfect little family 😭😭 who cares if it’s fake, as long as they’re happy right 😭😭

Tony Stark had everything, and when I say everything, is everything —a wife, a daughter, and he had a peaceful life for once after all the chaos—

But then...

He saw Peter's picture that night and everything started buzzing in his mind again... the guilt, the grief, the memories and the thought of "what could have been"

He was happy and I don't deny.

But was he truly, completely happy? No.

That's why he risked it all and created the time machine (also, thanks to Peter's photo) and did all that time traveling.

Just to hug his boy for one more time.

"Kid, hold me" was what came out of his mouth when he had him in front of him after so many years, he wanted to know if that was real and it was.

And he died for it, for him.

Peter was the love of his life and he loved him more than his own life.

So that's why i will never understand the antis, or the fandom in general who don't see it or don't want to accept it. Everything is so romantically tragic about those two.

Anyway, this is one of the main reasons why I ship them: the devotion, the sacrifice...

Also, Peter and Tony are not father and son — not in the movies, not in the comics, not in the animated series. Y’all made that up.

That’s why I love it when Starker shippers make “Irondad” content only for it to end up being the dirtiest thing ever. It feels like a parody, and I support it wholeheartedly.
