Hello my friends! I'm working on Moon 7 and I can't decide -

I've been using a color layer set to multiply while the cats are in their den to make them appear darker (y'know, like they're in the dark) but I can't tell if it's TOO dark and makes it harder to see.

Anyone have any opinions? Should I ditch the multiply layer or is it easy enough to see even though it's desaturated?

the two siblings remind me quite a bit of four ocs I have! I think they’d get along quite well!

They’re all silver colored and my four are either solid color or tabby patterned, and they’ve all gone through hardship!

Their names are Hopesong, Joyheart, Wonderleap, And Loveface! What do you think?

One day I will draw Flintpaw happy again,, or at least not actively Going Through It.

Figuring out page layout/comic style and trying to find my footing (or,,, paw-ing?) with the aesthetic, so it'll probably change around a bit over the course of the next few pages! But I'm having fun with it so no one can stop me!

YES! I made a map of the territory they'll end up in and everything - though I kinda borked myself by drawing updates 'til now with red rocks, because I decided AFTER I had started drawing the comic that I wanted them to be somewhere familiar to me - a sort've fictional version of the mountain ranges of New England. I hadn't thought much about it while playing, and the game has the mountain setting somewhere with kea and buzzards and venomous snakes and spiders (which New England is not home to, for the most part), so I'll probably just... gently start drawing the scenery more northern and change the animals to match, lmao. I'm keeping the location fictional instead of basing it on a specific place to give myself some leeway, though.
