trust fall
What I love about alien stage is in it's universe the embodiment of human perfection is a blonde twink with repressed emotions and the person who ends up beating him is an equally repressed but very angry lesbian.
Why are comments so hard to find now? I see a post I like and check on the comments only to find either none or some random thing that has nothing to do with why I interacted with the post in the first place. Like no thoughts, no engagement, no nothing? I notice this a lot more on Tumblr but this applies to other platforms too (ie: Youtube, Twitter, etc...)
Could just be a case of the post not having any views in the first place but c'mon man
Real talk though why is finding people who ship straight ships in the genshin fandom like trying to find a needle in a hay stack
cant let the gang know i fw kinlani or in other words, pixelshark

Alien stage headcanons (because I love them all and they deserved better)
• Mizi fell in love at first sight, Sua was curious at first sight
• Till's first thought when he met Ivan for the first time was: "I didn't know prince's existed"
• Ivan's was: "Nom"
• When Till isn't pining over Mizi, him and Sua are actually really good friends and will either shit on Ivan or just hang out whenever they meet
• Ivan and Mizi are best friends and are together a lot much to the chagrin of Till and Sua
• This is also how Till and Sua got close
• Hyuna had a very small crush on another Anakt kid before Luka came, but it was quickly replaced when she layed eyes on the twink and was like: "Nevermind him, I want this one"
• Hyunwoo had similar thoughts but more hyper and platonically
•Hyunwoo felt the vibes whenever the three hung out and would try to act as both of their wing mans
Now onto the sad headcanons! (Hey just because I love them doesn't mean I won't make them suffer)
• After Sua died, Mizi taught herself to fall asleep very quickly and for longer because her dreams were the only place they could meet each other
• Till never had time to mourn Ivan (because he was up against Luka almost immediately after) but he threw up in the break room after seeing a specific shade of red
• Hyuna never could bring herself to stop loving Luka, but she lived and died angry
• Till's last 7 minutes weren't just filled with Mizi, they were also filled with Sua and Ivan
• Hyunwoo never would've blamed anyone
Lari is one of my favorite FL in any media. She's just so well characterized, where her character development occurs so organically and reasonably. Overall, through the story and Rupert's POV, we have a good idea of Lari's strengths that is briefly mentioned, but accumulate over time:
works hard, is diligent
tries her best
is a nice and warm, overall a good person
studious and able to problem solve
mastered etiquette (the only skill she had from TL1)
able to learn politics overtime, and has a good idea of leadership
knows how to influence high/society with nobles (in combination with Rupert's authority and support) Lari is one of those characters who is NOT a badass OP FL lead. What has instead, is a quiet type of feminine strength. She doesn't have to be the smartest, or strongest, but she can still be a gentle person to acheive her goals. She may not be physically strong or intimidating, but she does have the support of Rupert; and he is more than happy to help support her in whatever she needs/wants. That's his role: to support her so she can be comfy and relax. Isn't that a nice idea on it's own? :) On the other hand, Lari IS a flawed character, with her own weaknesses:
extremely reckless
distrustful
due to being betrayed and gaslighted in TL1 and the first part of the story, she becomes hypervigilant to the point where she stops relying on ANYONE for help, becomes hyperindependent to the point of self-sabotage.
As Rupert says a few times throughout the series, Lari makes A LOT of stupid mistakes and bad decisions throughout the series, decisions any normal, rational person wouldn't do. That's the point. Unlike Rupert, who has Tori and Louis to discuss things with, Lari has no one. She's utterly alone. So if she DID have someone to rely on, that someone would tell her how stupid she was being, and she wouldn't have done the stupid thing. Her poor decisions is the result of being utterly alone, with no one to turn to.
Lari knows how bad her decisions were and agonizes over it afterwards, but Louis is the one who reassures her that in her situation, even if it wasn't the right call, to her, at that moment, it was the correct choice.
Rupert is the one who eventually realizes despite how she appeared, Lari is actually more lonely than anyone else. She had all these secrets about TL1 hidden inside, he was unable to ever fully earn her trust, and even if he wanted her to rely on him, the current [him] failed to do that. Before the separation, he was wishy washy - did he want to get closer to her? did he want to keep his distance? Eventually he realized that HE needed to change the way he treated her to earn her trust
It was nice that Lari already cared deeply for him; he didn't have to work TOO hard to earn her trust and have her rely on him when they reunited, but true to his word, he will always be there to support her, and if she allows it, he will be the one to protect and she can always rely on him. :)
After becoming a couple, RupeLali are hanging out often anyways, and they always have open communication. No judgement, and Rupert encourages Lari to speak her mind and any worries, and that is a tremendous relief for her, and their bond gets stronger from that :D
This is basically a story of Lari growing up and learning to trust and rely on others, and to let go of the toxic people who held her back from her own personal greatness!
Annabeth: What's the most polite way to phrase "you fucked up big time and need to fix this now or else" in a professional email?
Percy: "Hello, I hope this email finds you before I do"
Someone on here ranted about their dislike for when Percabeth fanfictions have Annabeth's favourite color be sea-green or like Percy's eyes, and referenced their own Annabeth's favourite colour to be Lavender. And now I read so many fanfictions that have Annabeth's favourite color be either yellow (another color they mentioned,) or lavender. So much so, that I don't know whether they're happy about it or not
Character analyses' are so fun to read because people have so many different thoughts about a single character and how that character has changed and will change in response to the environment and people around them.
Take Dazai Osamu for instance-there are so many different interpretations of his character and they figure all of that out from minute details in the novel/manga he's in. Like no, I wouldn't have figured out the connection between his ability to control his heartbeat and his humanity but thank you for taking the time out of your day to point that out.
Or someone from a completely different fandom, like say, a similar detective character who also goes around solving cases because they've inherited that trait from a mentor they deeply respect. MaoMao from Apothecary Diaries! There are numerous analysis' about not only her and how her past (being raised in a brothel) deeply affected her emotional regulation, but also posts about other people in the fandom and the symbolism behind every scene and visual metaphor used.
But in both fandoms, their respective members won't always agree with each other.
And it's just such a joy to see what people's thoughts are and their feelings about a character/characters/anything really that they're incredibly passionate about. Even if I don't always agree with them. It's just so nice to see for me. So this is a post for all who write analysis' on character's. You're doing gods work keep it up!!!
While I love any form of writing, there's a particular fondness in my heart for simple writing. The type of writing that just lays things as they are, the characters thoughts, personalities, and everything else. Not to say I don't love or hate writing that overdramaticize's things, but there's something sweet about being compared to what you see in every day life rather than the unreachable stars above.
