The Crux Of The Anti Trans Movement Is A War On Bodily Autonomy. They Don't Want You To Have Any Agency

The crux of the anti trans movement is a war on bodily autonomy. They don't want you to have any agency over what you look like, how you dress, who you date, whether to have kids, etc.

They want total control over you. Not just trans people. Not just queer people. You. Everyone.

Trans people are just a scapegoat. They want total control over everyone's self expression. They want the right to mold you into their perfect little cog in their dehumanizing machine.

Happy Trans Day of Visibility. Our rights are your rights. Our destruction is your destruction.

i hope every trans man egg finds the community and support he needs to comfortably be himself

your masculinity does not make you scary

your masculine identity is not a threat or betrayal to women

it's okay to want hormones and/or surgery to feel more comfortable in your body

it's okay to want to dress and act as masculine as you'd like, whatever that means for you

there are people out there who will accept you for you

not everyone is going to project their fears and traumas onto you. many people are actively working on this, in fact

it's okay to love other men as a man

it's okay to be a man

trans man egg, i hope you get everything you need to live a happy and comfortable life as yourself

Trans friends

This week I

1. Cried

2. Snapped at the wrong people

3. Doom scrolled

4. Stress ate

5. Been angry/scared/depressed/sad/confused

This week I have also

1. Hung out with my best friend

2. Made snacks with some adults and other teens in my community while we talked through our shared fears

3. Danced it out

4. Played with my baby siblings

5. Been hopeful/happy/joyful/embraced community

The next four years are going to be hard. There will be stress, and there will be fear, and there will be uncertainty. There will also be resilience, and community, and love. There will be a hundred thousand tomorrows to come where trans people will continue to exist in the face of everything the world throws at us.

You are not alone. None of us are alone. Reach out to your community, there is always someone who is willing to listen. Find your joy. Make your joy. Just be here, we’re all better off for it.

Oh! Apparently transandrophobes are now being very mask off with the fact that they are the same community as truscum/transmeds, 2019 exclus, and every other "grrr other queer people" group!

I could write 20 pages against exclusionist arguments but nothing I could say would be as efficient as this

a reddit comment by @/tomohawk12345 that reads: " "this sexual minority isn't part of the sexual minority group" 🤓🤓"

I kinda love it when bigots act like getting reported and removed from tumblr is such a betrayal and PROOF everyone on the site is out to get them, personally.

No, trust me. You tell trans women to kill themselves, you call trans men and nonbinary people cuntboys and theyfabs, all while harassing other queers you don’t like- getting your blog deleted is the kindest thing you deserve.

Trans transphobes are traitors to the LBGT+ community. Stay away from my brothers and sisters and siblings. We don’t want you here.

Maybe if your blog is gone you’ll spend less time online. Touch some grass. Become a less shitty person.

(I hope it goes without saying, but this is obviously not about the innocent trans women who get randomly deleted from the site because it’s run by raging transmisogynists.)

I think maybe the trans community would benefit from not just internalizing "trans men are men" but also "trans men are trans". Some of you really haven't unlearned basic transphobia and you think it's okay cuz we're men.

Was doing some light reading, and came across this paper that reminded me of discourse from a few weeks back.

Anyone remember when that post was floating around about how "theyfab" was actually invented by transfems to make fun of trans men/enbies who use their AGAB as a shield to protect themselves against criticism? Basically leveraging "oh I'm just a female, I'm so innocent", strawman bullshit?

Then others chimed in about how it actually came from 4chan as a way to mock enbies who aren't "trans enough"?

Well, here's an actual academic source on the issue, to shove a knife in this whole argument, as I'm sure it'll pop up again:

Sure looks like the "transandrobros" were right once again

Straight from an actual academic paper

"Theyfab" is infact 4chan lingo made to shit on people "not doing trans right" and isn't some transfem counter culture buzzword like some people claim it to be

Hey we all know pronouns aren't a privilege, right?

It doesn't matter how "annoying" a trans person is, it doesn't matter if they disagree with you on some intracommunity issue-

Use the pronouns they have in their bio, or the pronouns they ask you to use. Even if you really don't like them, or you think they're problematic.

Your comfort with somebody's pronouns isn't a factor. Using ANY other pronoun for a user that prefers it/its is misgendering. Same with neopronouns. If you can't manage it, don't talk to it.

Oh and just to be clear-

Claiming that a trans woman's account is actually "run by a man" is misgendering. Saying a trans man's blog is part of some "secret terf circle" is misgendering. Pretending a person is actually your oppressor in disguise so you can misgender them is, get this, misgendering!

I don't care how much you dislike someone, use the right fucking pronouns.

since theres been an uptick in transandrophobia and aphobia lately:

you need to care about and support trans men and transmasc people that are asexual or acespec

you need to care about and support trans men and transmasc people that are aromantic or arospec

you need to care about and support trans men and transmasc people that are aplatonic or aplspec

you need to care about and support trans men and transmasc people that are afamilial or afamspec

you need to care about and support trans men and transmasc people that are aspec

I love you transwomen. I love you transmen. I love you all trans people who may not be either or. Your right to exist as who you are should not be debated on the political field
