FINALLY!

This is a bit of personal post mostly meant for me to see my own progress in the future, but yesterday I was granted sick leave by my doctor for my depression. Basically I started uni last fall and just,,, I don't know what happened but I just completely crashed and burned and could not do ANYTHING. I went to see a doctor last month and was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression and now I've been on antidepressants for the past three weeks. And now I'm on sick leave.

It's really strange, being on sick leave. I'm 20 years old, super young, barely have any work experience and I'm already just,,, on sick leave. I know I'm not supposed to compare myself to other people, but I feel kinda guilty about taking a break from studying. It's not a fair comparison because those other people aren't ill like me. I have a mental illness, and I'm most likely ND too so that makes studying extra challenging for me. If I go back to uni next fall, I'll have to slow my pace significantly and try to get some accommodations. And in general I'll have to be more open about how I'm feeling and be willing to take support from the people around me.

One good thing about being on sick leave is that I'll have more time to write my stupid fanfiction afgdigyuyieu stay tuned for that :DD

This will all pass, I know. It isn't the end of the world. Like my doctor said, depression is a real illness and it has to be treated the same way that you would treat a broken foot, for example. There's no shame in it. I'll try to keep that in mind.

I just cannot stop thinking about that video with Gordon Ramsey treating kids vs. adults..... like, everyone sees him as this nasty aggressive guy but then he's just so gentle with kids (bc they're not doing it on purpose and they're not trying to hide their mistakes like the adults often do) and it honestly makes me cry when I think about it agydvbeubue,,,, so when I was writing all those tags I was like damn, Dennis is just like Gordon Ramsey frfr,,, like, he gets that the kids aren't doing it to piss him off, so why should he blow off on them? They don't deserve it.

I need Dennis interacting with kids again like omg I'm so excited for the Abbott cross-over and getting to see more of Dennis in that environment!!

the gist is pam is both lex and han's mom but only paul is hannah's father. it was a one night stand which didn't go well (that's the last time paul ever gives in to ted's goading to "loosen up" and "do something crazy"). paul eventually takes lex in and adopts her because of the few times he's seen the way pam treat her + he wants the sisters to be able to grow up together. Normal Man went from a recent college graduate in a brand new job with no immediate plan or intention to have kids to a seasoned father of two in the span of like a year. idk but if u ask ME this is the universe's way of saying paul matthews was meant to be a girldad he's just unlocking his full potential

I want a Hatchetfield musical crowd song where Paul is present, he has lines, there’s a very clear space in the choreo that he’s meant to fill, but he just speaks his parts normally and stands perfectly still. When everyone else is dancing across the stage, Paul very calmly walks along to his next mark, turns to the audience, says his line in a deadpan voice then just stands and waits for his turn again
