My moot on twt posted this...
I'm not okay :(
You know what I haven't seen yet? A scene where someone has to tell something to Snape, something he won't like, and Snape listens stonefaced while sharpening two knives against each other.
He is not even looking at the other person while the unlucky messenger is talking, sweating bullets, watching the glint of the knives.
And then, whatever that person was there to say is finally said and Snape freezes, knives still in his hands. He slowly turns and lifts an eyebrows, daring the poor idiot to repeat themselves.
So they flee, or faint or start babling something.
It's just... I've encountered a post of Snape using cooking skills in potions while half-asleep (which gave me this idea), but I've never read this.
I want to ramble about Doctor Who. I've only seen the last one with the 15th Doctor, so I don't get references to the previous ones, but I want to talk about it!
Now, is Ruby human? Because I think most of the fandom would disagree. In the latest chapter (the Legend of Ruby), it was mentioned that it is posible to pass as a human even when someone is testing your DNA.
Also, who says the person who left Ruby at Ruby Road was actually Ruby's parent? They could be a herald.
Because it is becoming increasingly repetitive that Ruby simply doesn't die.
In the end of 73 yards, Ruby seemingly went back to the point when she broke the fae-ring, but how much of it was the ring?
Ruby said that she'd been WAITING for the woman who turned up to be herself. She waits. Who else in the series is waiting? And what if Ruby's neighbour was there to watch her?
I think it'd be interesting for Ruby to be somehow related to Sutekh or maybe be some kind of sub-creation if them.
It's like Ruby is somehow related to Sutekh being able to pass and reach this world.
Maybe what I'm saying is something that someone else already said or maybe is pure nonsense, but Ruby "died" 3 times already.
With Maestro, Ruby should've been robbed of all music, but somehow the song at her birth is ingrained in her in a way a deity can't take away from her. So maybe a mayor deity put it there?
Then Ruby gets shot and yes, she got revived by the ambulance, but it was a bit too long before they got to hack the system and get it to help Ruby.
And then she died and went back in time in a loop, but how do we know it was because of the fae-ring and not because of Ruby herself? What if the fae-ring only traped her in a specific time-space (and that's why it didn't snow) , but it was Ruby the one who couldn't die?
Everyone was panicking. The Avengers had just received a ransom video showing Tony in the hands of some HYDRA kidnappers. They were currently rewatching it, hoping to find some clues to where HYDRA was keeping Tony, as JARVIS couldn't locate him.
"What'cha watching?" a voice over Steve's shoulder said, startling him.
Behind him stood Tony. Steve couldn't do anything other than gawk at Tony, who, other than a few scrapes and bruises, looked completely fine.
"I guess you didn't want to wait for us to rescue you," Bucky remarked.
Tony grinned. "Where would be the fun in that?" he said.
Do you know what would also be interesting?
A serie of one-shots like this. A group of what-ifs. And some characters reacting to them.
So, like you said, what if Lily survived along with Harry, and not understanding his true roll in the war, sent him to Azkaban?
What if Lily helped Severus on the day of his worst memory?
What if he changed schools?
What if he left the Wizarding World?
What if he'd been sorted into Gryffindor? Or Ravenclaw? Hufflepuff?
And some others that, at the begginig, seem to focus on someone else, but they end up focusing on Snape somehow.
What if Riddle hadn't hidden his true upbringing, but still managed to form the Death Eathers?
What if James got over Lily?
What if Dumbledore found out about the horrocruxes earlier?
What if Grindelwald escaped and formed a third party on the war?
And... Well, you get it.
I just think it would be hilarious to have most people realize that, yes, Severus is important. All the while Dumbledore and Voldemort are squeezing their brains, trying to think of a way to ensure tge man's loyalty.
And Severus only thought is an absolutly miserable "Why me?"
Lily and Harry survive, Lily throws Severus into Azkaban. She watches with gleeful pleasure as the dementors suck all the happy memories away from him. She hears him beg "Please don't take her away from me" and wonders who he could be talking about. A few days later she goes to him to gloat but he doesn't recognize her. The story could focus more on Lily finding out all the things Severus did in the first war since he switched sides. One could create a few dramatic and painful choices he would have had to make then as well.
Ending with the grim prospect of the dark lord rising soon on the horizon and no spy to keep the pace of the war in check. ----
Maybe make a few known and beloved characters attempt to spy only to fail miserably/go insane/ switch sides.
Those who fail of course get tortured and killed for information, making the war even harder.
-------
The entire focus of the fic would be to highlight how monumental Severus Snape's contribution to both wars was.
Alrighty ya'll, I finally made a master post!
This is an eventual Dash/Danny AU where Dash works part-time as a mechanic and Danny's car is going through it. Takes place their senior year of high school.
Current Parts:
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Will be updated as each new part is posted. I'm expecting this to end up with a total of 9-10 parts
*Person A does unhinged shit.*
Person B: "How in the fuck does your brain work?"
Person A: "Against my will."
More feral Severus Snape?
Like, I already proposed a Severus that goes back in time and chooses to turn his back to the WW, but now I feel more like getting a Snape that takes a look around, realizes he's back, takes a deep breath, rolls up his sleves, cracks his neck and goes...
"Very well... Bring it on."
A bit like "Falling apart", but with a bit more crack, maybe?
He just doesn't give a fuck, he's got no more shits to give about what's going on. His goal is to have a quite, paceful and solitary life, but he concludes that, with the war going on, he won't get it.
So, he goes around with a single goal in mind. He does consider leaving Hogwarts altogether, but decides to stay just to freeload on the castle while he applies to take his OWL's and NEWT's earlier. He wants a life, after all.
The werewolf pranck? He laughed at Sirius face.
The lake incident? He blocked the levitating spell and punched Potter in the face.
Lucius trying to recruit him? Bleached Hair got a middle finger.
Slughorn trying to talk to him (a weak half-meaning attempt that was more insulting than anything)? An eyebrow raised and no words.
Detention? Ha! Sure... Who do this dumbasses think he is? (A student, Sev... They think you're a kid). He's got no time! He has a Dark Lord to stop!
And when Dumbledore wants to "speak" with him - read: Interrogate him on his latest activities that are getting him out of the castle and into the forest and Hogsmade (and all over Diagon and Knockturn Alley, plus many other places, though Albus doesn't need to know that) -, Severus speaks circles around the old man.
He's tired and angry, and can't stand people anymore, and he is going to get out of there and fix things so he won't have to ever put up with any of them again.
This are carnivorous plants...
There was a fair in a part of the city and there were a couple of really nice stalls. One of them was of carnivorous plants. Just carnivorous plants.
The man in charge of the stall was really nice and explained to me when I asked about the one in the second photo. If you see this post and see that what I am saying is wrong, feel free to say so.
Anyways, he said that there was like a substance on the "mouth" of the plant. I understood that the insect was sort of attracted to it. Then I'm not sure if the insect got like stuck and started to slide down on the tube where the liquid of the plant got sort of digestive.
My explanation sucks and I should have checked on google. Truly, I simply thought that the man was really polite and good for explaining that to me and that him having his little stall filled with big and small carnivorous plants (the photos are of the small baby-carnivorous-plants that are no bigger than the palm of my hand because I liked them) was kind of great and wanted to put it here.
