i think haikyuu is just a series you can reread as you get older and it will always feel the same. everytime i reread i get the same emotions from the first time & actually, i get even more attached after every read to the story. it’s timeless. every lesson, every major moment, every feeling can be applied to any moment of your life. it’s a masterpiece!

the parallels between kageyama tobio and oikawa tooru are insane. oikawa beating kageyama after all the years he felt inadequate just for him to lose against tobio the next season. they both lack in what the other can do so well, oikawa lacking in skill while tobio can't command a team (at the time) like oikawa can. they are both such incredible players, and their rivalry emphasizes their talent. furudate was a genius for creating these characters and having them parallel each other; it's truly peak literature.

i love kagehina so much...they remind me so much of fall...of warm hugs and comfy sweaters...of cool breezes and fallen leaves...of calm nights watching movies with friends. they are just so comforting to me. they make me so happy. this panel in particular reminds me so much of fall. it’s one of my fav kagehina moments. they are so beautiful!! m

i get tears in my eyes whenever i think of how karasuno was the foundation of kageyama’s growth. tobio found a team that accepted him & gave him the space to grow as a setter. not being accepted into shiratorizawa was the best thing that could happen to him. because of that rejection, he found his way to shoyo, who would become his lifelong partner and rival. because of his teammates, he finally understood what it meant to be a team. he felt valued and was able to build a connection with people that went beyond volleyball. it’s because he played at karasuno that he’s now able to create connections that help him become a better person AND player. karasuno needed tobio & tobio needed them.

i might be late to the party, but lately i got into akatsuki no yona and binge-read through the entire manga there is. i'm away from home with only a pc and a mouse as my tools, but that won't stop me from drawing my brainworms. yona kitty and hak kitty!
