Stupid Slasher Idea

Stupid slasher idea

The other day, I came across a discussion about such a movie as Blood and Honey, who doesn't know, it's a horror slasher based on Winnie the Pooh. A bad horror slasher based on Winnie the Pooh. And since then, I've been thinking in the back of my mind about what makes a slasher good. I'm not a fan of this genre myself, but both in my own opinion and in the opinion of most fans I meet, there are two main ingredients in a successful slasher: creativity and unhinged immoral fun. A semi-crack idea emerged from this:

Classic, a bunch of teenagers played by thirty-year-olds, a secluded location and a maniac. Or better yet, a few. It's only after the first attack that it turns out that at least one of the children is also a psychopath, and will gladly hack the monster in retaliation in an equally sophisticated way. He manipulates a friend to set himself up and play the bait. Not only will he survive the first of the attacks, but he will also gore a monster from bad guy's team along the way. And the child does all this with genuine delight and pleasure. So now we don't have the capture of defenseless victims one at a time, but a full-fledged struggle, where the monster, while preying on teenagers, tries at the same time not to become prey itself. Something from the category of "bite the vampire first to establish dominance."

The traditional Last Girl successfully escapes only because the teenager and the monster are fighting for the right to deal with the last remaining victim.

It would be called Lamb's skin.

Warm Despite the Ice

A gift for @owlintheemptiness featuring two OC's enjoying themselves on the ice.

Jack, for all his talents and history in gymnastics, looked at his heart throb with skepticism as Jim held out his hand, urging him forward.

"If you can fly through the air, with only a net to save you, you can skate with me." Jim said, his breath visible in the chilly night air as he gestured to ice wonderland he stood upon.

Jack, scoffed. "If I fall and bust my face-"

"You'll still look beautiful to me." Jim smirked.

Jack gave him a toothy grin before he stepped out onto the ice, his skates scraping a bit. He fumbled and caught a tree limb hanging over head. He peered pleading at Jim who effortlessly skated nearer and offered his hand once more. "Dance with me?"

"I can barely stand and you wish to dance?"

"No one's around to see us make complete fools of ourselves." Jim assured with a smile.

The man glanced around, to confirm Jim's words and finally huffed as he allowed Jim to lead him from the safety of the snow bank and onto the frozen plain.

Jack gasped slightly as he felt his feet slide from under him until he felt himself in the strong embrace of Jim. The play-boy smiled a toothless grin and assisted Jack in regaining his balance.

It took a few fumbles, but Jack was finally able to find his stride and was soon gliding alongside Jim under the night sky.

"This is amazing!" Jack cried out.

"Told you."

Feeling confident, Jack pushed himself away from Jim and started off on his own. Jim watched in wonder as Jack grasped the concept. The wily man began to pick up speed and began drifting a bit, as though testing his limits. But his confidence faltered when he hit a crack in the ice and went flying into a snow drift. Jim raced over and fell to his side. "Hey, you okay?"

Jack rolled over and revealed a patch of snow covering his face and Jim couldn't help but laugh. "Hello, Santa, I'm looking for my friend. Seen him around?"

Jack sneered and pushed Jim away. "Let's go again." He said, brushing the snow off.

Jim took his hand and Jack allowed him to lead him back.

This time, they stayed together.

Jack tripped and caught himself with his hands upon Jim's chest. He looked up and met Jim's eyes and blushed.

Jim smiled as he pulled the man closer and placed one hand on his waist and another on his hand. Jack and Jim slipped into a comfortable groove and found themselves dancing on ice.

The wind picked up and a whistle sounded through the trees. Jack could swear nature was creating a song in it's own image for their benefit.

No words were exchanged aloud, but the glances given spoke enough.

They were so focused on their dance, Jim hadn't noticed a patch of pebbles lying on the ice. He gasped as he lost his balance and, because he forgot to let go, pulled Jack onto the ice with him.

The two lay in shock for a moment before Jim began to laugh, hard and wonderful. Jack started in amusement and awe before joining his chorus of laughter.

The fog from their breaths created a misty atmosphere before Jim sighed in contentment and stared at the man lying atop him.

Jack was still laughing, though it had died down to a cute giggle.

The heart-throb felt his own heart beating so wildly against his chest, he feared Jack would feel it.

Jack finally looked down at him and touched his nose to Jim's, nuzzling it.

Jim felt a blush raise in his pale complexion. He feared that the heat of that and the amount of sweat gathering on his palms would be enough to break the ice they lay upon.

Jack suddenly pulled back, blushing himself as he pulled himself off of Jim. He rubbed his arm and smiled. "I don't know about you, but I'm starting to lose feeling in legs. How we go inside for some cocoa?"

Jim blinked and sat up. He wanted nothing more then to be the warmth Jack needed. Instead, he shrugged. "Sure, just... don't hog all the marshmallows this time." He said, awkwardly. Jack smiled as he climbed clumsily to his feet and offered Jim a hand.

"I take that and we'll be right back where we started." Jim chuckled.

Once they were back on solid earth, Jack began to shiver. Jim quickly took off his hoodie and draped it over Jack's shoulders

Wordlessly, they walked back, to be comforted by a roaring fire and steaming mug of hot chocolate.

I feel like Edge of Night was written by Bilbo, it's just make so much sense. He's definitely the hobbit who has songs for great halls and evil times.
