Since we haven’t started the @jedijune​ prompts yet, I thought I’d just do a bit of a teaser for what I have planned. 

A lot of my Jedi content this month will focus on their relationship with younglings, and there’s not better way to start things off than to remind you all that Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi actually spoils kids a lot and always have.

There’s just so much softness and love and fondness here, and it’s beautiful.

Humans are deathworlders prompt:

Humans have been known as a terrifying, strong species that can kill and eat almost anything.

Others across the galaxy tell their children that humans are dangerous, using their concept as a sort of boogeyman.

The problem is, many of the alien children think that humans are SUPER COOL and AWESOME, (kind of like how many human children view dinosaurs but smaller) and they would do anything to meet one up close

"C'mon."

"No."

"Foooooooox. Come on."

"I can't. I've got this whole stack of forms to sign, and then I have to look over the shift schedule for the rest of the week -"

Quin grabs Fox's wildly waving hand and plucks the stylus out of his grip, tossing it carelessly behind him.

"Hey-" Fox starts, but cuts off sharply when Quinlan brings his hand up to his lips and presses a kiss to his bruised knuckles. His lips are soft and warm, and it catches Fox's breath in his throat; the tender way that Quinlan holds his hand, the low-banked simmer in his eyes as he peeks up at Fox.

"You were saying?"

Fox shakes his head and tries to remember his train of thought. Meanwhile, Quinlan's on the move; he prowls behind Fox's desk chair and lands another soft kiss to the nape of Fox's neck. It blazes along the nerve endings, standing Fox's hair on end and making him shiver.

Quinlan's purring voice doesn't help with that, either. "I know your weakness," he whispers, so close to Fox's ear that he can feel Quin's hot breath.

"The Kaminoans promised no vulnerabilites," Fox manages, breaking off into a moan when Quin's teeth just graze the shell of his ear.

"Did they?" Quinlan presses his lips to Fox's temple. "I'm seeing a few. A couple kisses and you're already distracted."

"That's not fair," Fox protests, but Quin is already continuing. "What happens if I tell you you've done so good today? That you deserve a reward?"

Fox's quick intake of breath is answer enough. The smile that spreads across Quinlan's face is sharp and affectionate, with just an edge of mockery. "Good boy," he coos when Fox stands up, and rewards him with a kiss, this time on the lips. It's less tender than the others, hungrier, making Fox press in closer and throw his arms around Quinlan's neck.

Without breaking the kiss, Quinlan scoops Fox up. His legs wind around Quinlan's solid hips, held up by the Force or Quin's strong arms. Fox can't tell, and he doesn't care, either, as Quinlan carries him off to the couch, the whole time kissing him like it's the last thing he'll ever do.

Not a bad way to go, Fox thinks, and then he can't even think anymore.

Humans are now called “star children”.

It is common knowledge that all lifeforms, regardless of origin or existence or if they still exist, come from long-gone stars. By all accounts, there is no single existence that is not a “star child”, even thought there are many beings that do not believe they will ever deserve the title of being born from a star.

However, as the years and decades since humanity first discovered that they were never alone came by, the friends from other planets - or, for a better words, aliens - came to stop merely calling them human.

That did not happen on the span of a decade or two. It took maybe a hundred years for the first little one to decide that “star child” would be a name better fit for the common human. Slowly but surely, the title stuck, but not everyone will be able to tell you why that happenned.

Maybe it was because of their crooked hands, able to do so much with so little. Maybe it was their fascination for documenting everything, or maybe it was because of the hundreds of star patterns they loved to wear and decorate their spaceships with. Some even believe it was because of the human soul, and how it would stick to the physical plane even after death because it couldn’t understand that it was dead and it was time to say goodbye.

No, no. It wasn’t because of that. You see, they are not called star children for bringing wonder to everything. They are not called that because of their endurance, or their wits, or their imprudence. They are not called star children because their nature is extraordinary or so fantastical that the word “human” cannot fit it all inside. Every single creature, regardless of their intelligence, should be called a “star child” if that was the case, because every single living being is fantastical by merely existing.

There are aliens just as smart, just as strong, just as enduring and just as weird as the little humans and their crooked hands and their millions of libraries and their star patterns.

But when they invented a way for stars to live longer by harvesting their energy, and when wars arrived and they volunteered to take every single one they could to safety, and when they decided to dedicate their entire lives to caring of others, and when they terraformed planets that were too far gone, and when they documented every single living creature they ever found and when they debated the best ways to classify and understand them, and when they shared their art and when they made inventions so anyone could experience said art, and when they despite everything choose to keep their hopes up…

Oh, dear. That was a moment in which some of the aliens decided that “star child” would be a proper title, for only someone who remembered their origins and how they connected to other forms of existence, without ever thinking that they are better than the rest, could ever have been so stubborn to help.

And, soon enough, the humans accepted the title. They decided to stop arguing, for it was the better course of action, and embraced it. Now, the star children are most well-known for caring for their distant siblings. Not for how, many centuries prior, they once killed their own planet.

But star children are quite old, compared to the rest. And, as the oldest sibling, they must make sure no one will ever do the same mistakes they once did.

212th gets a briefing before meeting Obi-Wan which explains why they should never touch his Coat. The thing is, the briefing forgot to include a picture. Obi-Wan's Coat is perfectly safe and hidden while Cody gets an aneurism posting armed guards next to every cloak Obi-Wan dramatically sheds in battle. Obi-Wan thinks that Cody makes him pick up the cloaks after himself as a disciplinary action.

-Cody, dear, would you please fetch me my cloak? -General, I'm flattered but I'm not ready for marriage.

Dragons have an innate need to hoard. Generally gold but not necessarily. Anakin hoards people. If he could have his way, he would gather everyone in one place and perch somewhere up high so he could keep an eye on everyone. Anakin loves vode piles.

Your art reminded of how the Unholy Alliance update made me go from very on the vence about Narinder to biggest Narinder defender will die in the trenches for my wife /hj

Like personally, them finally giving us the reasoning behind the Bishops attack on Narinder beyond vague prophecy changed a lot of the context behind the situation

And while, yes, the intentions behind his actions of resurrecting followers and his opinion on his new find extreme popularity were left quite vague (and why I don't if someone still interprets Narinder as the one mainly/equally at fault). It still doesn't change how it was a betrayal out of the Bishops fear of a possible betrayal. He wasn't conquering and overtaking them, he wasn't actively starving them, they just feared that possibility that he would.

It gets even more fucked up when you remember that all the Bishops ran their faiths by gifting and blessings their followers with the opposite of their domains (food, heath, etc) so Narinder actions where probably completely normal thing to do as a god of death in his mind, like.

In my fucked up fantasies (aka my interpretations of the canon), Narinder was only truly in the wrong when they asked the Lamb to sacrifice themselves. But getting into even more personal headcanons territory, for him it was likely just the natural/necessary think to do. He's a god of death that gave this little mortal life so they could do his bitting (that included them doing their own sacrifices, depending on your own gameplay), them sacrificing themselves was likely a given for him. Probably didn't consider that the Lamb would mind it, like, sacrificing yourself for your god just another tuesday in the life of a follower of death aint I right

So in conclusion, narilamb before post-game was a classic case of doomed yaoi/hurt people hurt people. Narinder asked the sacrifice-survivor to be sacrificed once again and the Lamb betrayed the one who was betrayed in return (pun half-intended)

(Really sorry for the ramble, it's almost midnight in my country and your art plagued me with thoughts. Hope you at least liked reading my deranged screams, I mean, my interpretations of the story. If you didn't, again, Im truly sorry. But Im still interested in your own thoughts regardless, so yeah... feel free to share??? I don't know how to phrase that in a good way, again, its almost midnigh)
