if eris vanserra has a hundred fans, i am one of them. if eris vanserra has ten fans, i am one of them. if eris vanserra has one fan, i am that fan. if eris vanserra has no fans, i am dead. if the world is against eris vanserra, i am against the world.
(when a guy who joined one of your classes three days ago who you literally have never even made eye contact with and stares at you constantly and you don’t know his name and he doesn’t know yours and he’s verbally violent and just gives you budding psychopath vibes writes you a full six page love letter along with an illustration of you and him together)
you're Black and they've got a handful of Black characters in star wars and none of them are written with love and care like they deserve. every Black character that looks remotely Black is either a "near human" alien species or villainized.
you're Polynesian and youve technically got a whole bunch of really prominent characters with a range of morals but people keep thinking/pretending/making them white and then the majority of those guys' voices and stories are ignored in favor of white jedi who should know better than to be slave owners. ppl deny your existence in this story and claim it for white people.
you're eastern/southern asian and like 99% of this fucking franchise wouldn't be here without your people and your culture(s) but good fucking luck finding prominent characters that share your face. they had one lady in a sequel trilogy nobody asked for and by the time they make another movie with her they manage to give white/alien sides more lines than her.
or you're SWANA and star wars is basically a carbon copy of your people and your culture and is also, ironically, a carbon copy of the same shit you have to deal with irl--being made a terrorist, being called backwards, stereotyped, etc etc, made out to be "hostile" in the same way white folks do irl. and there's white fans who have the nerve to tell you this is a compliment.
youre jewish and every time there's a character with a hooked nose they're also evil. if there's a character thats working with money they've got a hooked nose and they're also evil. a greedy character will have a New York Jewish accent and also be a lizard. the alien that hapenns to be the slave owner to White Space Jesus is a mess of stereotypes of your people and culture.
"Star Wars is for everyone"
I HOPE LOVING ME ISN’T THE HARDEST THING ANYONE HAS TO DO.

he’s got that previously neglected shelter dog rizz. he looks like he wants to quietly sit next to you on the couch while you watch TV
Unfortunately, the truth is that you’ll probably always feel less loved or seen than you actually are. There are many people out there who decide against admitting their love for you or even uttering a compliment out loud, you only know about a fraction of the adoration that exists for you: there’s what you’ve been told about and there’s what you feel. But there’s also what you don’t even notice. Try to remember that however you’re feeling (lonely or invisible or unwanted) is valid and real, but it isn’t all. The world would be incredibly tiny if what you’re feeling was truly all there was.
