This panel makes me so ill. Like what do you mean by those expressions, that face holding and held gaze? What do you mean by Chuuya's trust in you being a beautiful thing? What do you mean by the implication of your telepathic connection? Why would you bring up a prince waking up his princess "the wrong way" in that gentle softly teasing voice? What do you mean you would jump to your death and fight a dragon for him? What do you mean you trust him with keeping you safe from your unhinged suicide plans when you haven't even told him about said plan? What do you mean you will hold his head in your lap to protect him after and keep your hand in his hair just because you can? What do you mean that he is the only thing on your mind in the middle of corruption and not only is his name the only thing you have ever said in that state but you we're able to control your strength to not even bruise him? What do you MEAN I am not supposed to see this as a confirmation of there being something as genuine as love there when THIS is a canon event?

I think it’s a matter of taking the wrong things way too seriously honestly.

I think the fandom should take BSD more seriously and a lot less seriously at the same time.

Chuuya did in fact have a big ass sword.

(head)canon that kunikida is the only one who carries a gun with him. headcanon its because kyouka isn't interested in killing. yosano thinks her giant knives are better. kenji is far too young. atsushi isn't trained. fukuzawa strictly uses his katana. and finally. dazai, tanizaki, and rampo are banned from guns because they would shoot anyone who inconveniences/annoys them.

Okay enough is enough.

Dazai fell first and fell hard. He fell through a building.

Chuuya fell after, but he always fell gently cause Dazai always caught him before he hit the ground.

Everyone. Do you realize what this boy is begging for? Do you even fathom the weight of what he just asked?

This is the same boy who declared the lengths he'd go to in order to live wholeheartedly.

And now he's begging to die. Just to save his friends. The only people he can call family. Without even an ounce of hesitation.

The devastation in his eyes. The desperation in his voice. I can't take it anymore-

im a fucking sucker for the “character gets so badly injured that they can’t think clearly and start calling for help in a distressingly vulnerable way.” characters who start using nicknames for their friends they haven’t used since they were kids. characters who start begging for their brother they haven’t seen in years to be there. characters who would usually use their parents’ names or call them mother/father/etc crying out mama when they go down. u understand.

Does anyone else remember how at the end of chapter 12 (I think) when Atsushi saved Kyouka and they jumped off the ship, Kunikida told him he did a good job? (Even though he wasn’t conscious to hear it.)

After looking back my brain has come to the conclusion that Kunikida was not just praising Atsushi for saving Kyouka, he was actually praising him for standing up for his ideals, defending himself, and succeeding in what he set out to do. After all, it was a big moment for Atsushi’s character development, and ideals are literally what Kunikida is all about.

Now that I think about it, I fear it is obvious.
