BUT THEN bucky has a complete breakdown about how he hasnt felt this way since.... and he trails off but obviously he means steve and while Bucky spills all of this we just see sam's expression soften from anger into quiet understanding and then they silently hug or maybe kiss or smth idk who cares WHO CARES.

a fucking fact is bucky has ALWAYS seen captain america as more than captain america. to him steve and sam are just guys that he loves. just dudes he would die for. this bitch is one of the only men who has taken the time to really look beyond the shield so THERE.

hey guys so fuck capitalism but also stop treating people who buy from big businesses like shit. me personally, i live in a town with only chain stores and food places except for like 5 places that are all crazy expensive. im sorry but if i want food id rather buy a sandwich from dunkin’ donuts than a $13 sandwich from a small business because i cant afford that. and i think thats fair. i don’t love supporting big businesses in fact i hate it, but literally what else can i do? i hate the college system as much as the next guy but i need to go to a decent college to be able to survive so im sorry but i have to be a part of it to get money and stay alive. like what am i supposed to do?? what are any of us supposed to do?

i feel like what i keep hearing about is how terrifying the laura palmer screaming scene is, but it is absolutely not the scariest scene in the show. i dont know if anyone tries to say it is, but i feel like yapping so here we go.

there is something explicitly haunting about a lot of scenes in that show. all the ones with bob, all the weird mental breaks of the characters, its very clear whats scary about that. its creepy! of course it is! but the subliminal soft horror is the exact same thing that makes the show so comforting: the simple cinematography and seemingly not great acting.

of course theyre all great actors. but a lot of their scenes appear to be poorly shot. they stare just a little bit too long and seem to be making the wrong facial expressions at times, and their personalities are straight up confusing. and its really a testament to david lynch's genius how much this adds to the quiet horror of the show. you literally cant tell who's evil and who's genuine because everyone acts possessed. you cant even tell anything is up with leland because EVERYONE IS CRAZY. EVERYONE. who's possessed by bob? who knows because theyre ALL CRAZY!!! everyones wacky and zaney and insane!!!!!! who killed laura? EVERYONE DID BECAUSE EVERYONES CRAZY!! and just when you think you found the straight man, they have a mental breakdown. so.

its beautiful and comforting but is also genuinely the most accurate representation of horror mysteries. its the one i think is done the best, because you have no idea whats going on ever. you cant just sit down and think because all of a sudden theres a giant staring at you from where a girl was. theres a horse in the living room. theres a man tap dancing on a table. theres a llama walking around. theres harry looking cooper up and down for some reason. david lynch the man you were. we will never forget you.
