I was playing great god grove again today and this particular bit stuck with me. I feel like someone out there needs to hear this too.

Like yeah sometimes it’s a new show that’s big and actively coming out but also sometimes there will be a solid month where half my dash is Columbo memes. Defy authority. [Start ID. A drawing of a Mindflayer and a Streetcleaner from Ultrakill, which the artist refers to as Radium and Burnet respectively, talking in a mall which is in no way canon-compliant. The palette is relatively saturated, dark, and eclectic, biased towards a reddish purple. Radium is dressed in a teal blazer, jeans, a studded belt and silver jewelry, and they hold up an unpurchased black shirt to Burnet: an anatomically correct heart and the word "SOUL" are partly visible on the front of the tee, printed red. They appear to ask if they should buy the shirt for a Mannequin friend. Burnet, in nothing but a sun-embroidered pair of overalls and a gold piercing through zier dragon-like frill, seems to love the idea, gesturing with zier hand excitedly. The two of them are standing in a dark store which is most analogous to Hot Topic; a puppet employee handles shirts to the right side of the image, including one with the artist's diagetic signature. Among the mall's stores are numerous parodies of and references to Ultrakill itself, along with sights such as a gathering of post-shopping Virtues and an enraged Mindflayer chasing down a fleeing V1. Well.

A very happy thanksgiving to you all, and a very merry birthday to me!

I don't have a whole lot of money, and what I do have is going towards a move in the near future to escape an abusive household.

But for those of you with money, I can think of no better birthday gift than to donate to someone on this list. Some folks aren't lucky enough to enjoy a thanksgiving day this year.

been forever since i posted any art here so. wheat field i drew as a tribute after finishing portal 2 three months ago upon you all :]

[Start ID. A sketch-like, pixellated rendering of the seemingly endless wheat field at the end of Portal 2. The wheat is golden with harvest, and stretches out to fill the entire lower third of the frame, the sky is a deeper blue and dense with far-off clouds. Uncountable rows of almost-parallel lines, some much on the shorter side and others long and sweeping, shade and highlight the grasses, give texture to the sky and clouds, and halo the sun at the top center. Each of the four blues that make up the sky are the exact inverse of an orange tone in the field, and vice versa. End ID)

[Start ID. An edited version of the previous, wherein the transparency in the sun has been filled in with white and the sky with blue. An obvious filter has been overlayed which makes the whole piece look vertically striated, like the effect of an old computer or console screen, darkening it overall and creating odd tinges of red, green and magenta in some spots. [Start ID. A close-up photo of one titular Provence Hairstreak perched on a rock. It is a butterfly only a couple centimeters long, with one of its big black eyes visible and lined in white, thin clubbed antennae striped black-and-white, and large, generally brown wings, with black spots amid a patch of orange on the forewing. Its most notable feature, though, is the ludicrously fluffy appearance of its front half: long setae the color of verdigris almost completely take over its head, thorax and abdomen, and the green hairs extend to its femurs and half of the hindwings. The white speckles dotting the green wings contribute to an overall fairy-like appearance. End ID.]

additionally once again: special thanks to @magnumopos and @muzzleroars , neither of which I have actually spoken to in my life but both of which are credited with partially inspiring this! (dedicated section under the readmore due to the fact I do not generally tag people at all ever and wasn't sure if I should, but thought it was worth mentioning!) The former for giving me the wonderful idea of dragonfly V1, the latter for drawing V1 like a strange little creature + for the feedbacker plate, I enjoy both your works :]
