not my art i mean honestly I think they're the most crossovered of either game but also... don't know exactly how to describe it but like both have the most people who are also interested in the other? as someone who also likes both this is an AWESOME STATISTIC

peridots-reblogs 'thats a whole vibe' tag < just decided to make that tag because. hm. sometimes a specific but indescribable sort of thing will get seen by me and i'll have equally specific and indescribable feelings about it wholly captivating essentially. often it's architecture or things seen offline or even certain songs but there are a few posts on here that I still need to reblog that've activated it (along with that photography post from september) and i'll try to explain it as well as i can!! so this. to me this feels like a more standard “there is nothing outside of the view presented”. not because it's a facade and not because it's merely an image on my screen--there is just nothing for the viewer beyond it. desolate land and lifelessness in kind of a sense that You are the only perceiver of this space. an eerie beauty which isn't unwelcoming but which presents as a “future” of life without feeling like anything's ever lived in it--past or present. and then the use of light is so so cool to portray that!! between the exterior being run-down and the intensity of the light itself it's unnatural and entrancing. like it's attempting to BE welcoming but what could possibly welcome you. outside there's nothing of substance and. well. maybe it IS a facade actually. and inside is the end of all things and beyond all of the subjectivity the colors and shapes used are AWESOME...the bleached yellows and saturated reds + oranges and the cool dull greens and glowing white and the blocks of same-color pixels and the mastery in stylization from the grass to abandoned buildings are all things i love so much and they're beautiful by any definition :] aha. i hope. Any of that made sense (and it's obviously my thoughts rather than what i think is really happening/what i think it was “supposed” to invoke) but hey art's here to make us feel weird things isn't it. i'm normal < prev (me) i'm here a year later and i think that's called being objectum. hope this helps

tf2 scout tf2 heavy tf2 peridots-reblogs thank you tumblr user eel-in-a-glass for inadvertently convincing me to reblog this again. tf2 heritage post actually ended up listening to vengabus a while ago and it was cemented as a Liked Song when on april 28th i used it as motivational music to climb the wall as artificer. it took like 7 deaths and it was FUN and AWESOME. we like to party officially now a tf2 rw song don't know Why i decided to listen to it but hey i enjoy happy songs. anyway op's deactivated and prev is me so i'm not really talking to anyone here but Whatever. inflicting this upon you all once again because i love it

on the other hand ultrakill peridots-nonsense ok SO ON THE ONE HAND: I'M VERY EXCITED FOR THIS I WANT TO GO EXPLORE EVERYTHING SO BAD... when i started playing ultrakill it was on my sibling's computer and i finally got it on my own a couple days ago!!! i'm currently at the corpse of king minos cause i've been p-ranking all the levels!!!! so far i've got all the prelude levels besides 0-4 (style meter HATES ME) and the first two limbo levels. i don't think i ever p-ranked any on my first playthrough! anyway i felt like bragging about that lol (i only have eight hours in and idk. i play a lot of baseline-tough games but i've never really been one to actually get any challenging achievements besides maybe like. dream no more? and i think most hk players have that anyway. so it feels nice) BUT THIS MEANS I CAN'T DO 5-S OR P-2 YET... biting and hissing glad my two (2) ultrakill mutuals get to play those though i am looking forward to more liveblogging about it OH I GET TO PLAY THE CREDITS LEVEL THOUGH. gonna try not to do that anyway (it's the principle of the thing!!)
