Hitoshi, upon being adopted by erasermic, got to slowly ease out of the habits foster care pushed him into. This includes the essential teenage experience of listening to music with both earplugs in.
Hizashi and shouta can hear the nu metal from the other side of the house.
The New Boys(TM)
Look at them, bask in their angry glory.
So I actually drew them yesterday but didn't end up posting it cause its on a bigger WTTT page. It started out as just Jersey but then I wanted to draw New Mexico as well, and then I somehow had all four of them on the page.
I have the slight headcanon that they are all related in some way, like NJ and NY are brothers and NM is NJ's cousin but not NY's and NH is NY's cousin (or brother idk) but not NJ's. I don't know it seemed like a funny concept to me.
I saw this idea floating around that NM was raised by the NorthEast and I love that idea so like that is probably why NJ and NM are cousins...probably..ya know I hadn't actually thought too hard about it lol
Save me characters that just have something about them. Save me characters that don’t have to be “sunshine coded” as in happy and bubbly but characters that are inexplicably the center of every person’s attention whenever they’re around. They don’t have to want it they don’t even have to enjoy it but everyone who looks at them wants to understand and wants to figure them out. Characters that draw people in with some strange unknowable charisma. Characters that writhe with secrets under their skin. Characters that are bigger than you and me and probably bigger than the world itself. Characters that change lives just by being in them, not always for the better but changed nonetheless. Save me characters that tend to die in the end, ending in one big heat death supernova and leaving an afterimage behind that lasts as long as the story. Maybe even longer. After all, stars still shine after they die, the light has to travel.
Abandon My Eulogy Ford is never going to be able to read poetry again. I'm being serious.
He read "Do not stand at my grave and weep" and immediately started weeping. He tried Emily Dickinson, and he was out cold—no more Stanford, just a sad pile of jello.
Stan is going to be chilling out, doing whatever he does, and then he has Stanford sticking to him like glue because he happened to read a poem about death.
It's a tough relife out there fr.
Every once in a while Ford will just sway into whatever room Stan is in and just. Stare. For a prolonged period until Stan looks up and is like "poetry again?" And Ford just silently nods.
SO much of poetry is about grief of some kind its frankly ridiculous-> (spoken as some who writes and consumes poetry near constantly)
Poor Ford is just trying to wind down to go to bed at a reasonable time and is hit with the full force of poets and their abilities in making you Feel Emotions
