bugs peridots-reblogs original-character-chaos tenodera sinensis!!! hi!!!! i keep seeing these guys around one of my own has some sort of injury in one of their eyes which might be a contributing factor to why they've lunged at a spot a Considerable distance to the right of a roach i once tried to feed them. numerous times. over the course of like 5 unsuccessful minutes. that or they'd snap their head to look at me and slowly stalk my hands (my own woe fashioned in a similar manner to “stop being wretched”) of course they could just be Like That. mantises are silly creatures. they are like rw scavs 2 me :]

A full-body drawing of a person with bat-like wings replacing their arms. The drawing is wide and mirrored so that you can see the person's front and back. Their lower arms are longer than on a human, and their hands are even longer and thin with membranes between each finger. The non-human traits include their wide and pointed ears, their thin tail, and opposable thumb on both feet. The membrane on their hands stretches from their pinky to their tail, and connects along their back. Both sides are pierced twice close to their body to allow for clothes, once above each hip and once under each armpit. The person is wearing a long sleeveless shirt and jean shorts with a space for their tail. Both garnments have a strap running through the membrane's lower holes to connect in the back. A note next to the drawing mention that the person uses their feet to hold objects since they have no hands, and there are some doodles featuring how their clothes work and what else they can wear.

Decided to answer my own question of "how does a person with wings wear clothes" except without taking the easier route of avian/insect wings for once

bugs ultrakill bots v1 ultrakill peridots-reblogs AND this. i love the shapes here so so much and the lankiness and the long abdomen and the little claws and even tinier antennae. i think just generally the idea of v1 as a dragonfly is incredible. the whole “highest kill rate of any predator” thing of course but also they're flashy super-quick and hard to catch with a lithe body + wing type... i also think that what with the 95% the other 5% would be gabriel and v1 (respective to v1 and v2. mirage not included cause she technically doesn't exist). even just the ruthless killer part fits very well however. don't think I have the time to voice more thoughts on this unfortunately but i DO adore it OH IM ADDING THIS WAY LATE BUT ALSO HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY ULTRAKILL!!! REALIZED THIS THE DAY AFTER BUT WHATEVER!!!!!!!

Finally finished this!!! I started it after I finished artificer's campaign last January...

I want to make similar full illustrations for the other downpour slugcats once I finish them... I've already finished Gourmand's campaign and I'm almost done with Spearmaster, so it should be those guys next!! ^^
