maybe they’re hurt because of a fight (especially if your f/o is a hero or villain 👀), what did they get into a fight over? when they explain it, are they smug and proud of it? or are they embarrassed that they got into a tussle over something so minuscule? did they win or lose?

or is your f/o just really clumsy and got themself hurt in some kind of fall or accident? (imagine the sheepish look they give you when they explain what happened, the light blush coming over their cheeks-)

either way, they look at you with the most loving look in their eyes while you clean their wounds n bandage them up. even if a cut stings or a bruise hurts when you accidentally touch it, this is about the most loved that they’ve felt, and even though they’re in pain, they still feel warm and happy in that moment :]

especially if they have a hard time letting someone else take care of them- the amount of trust they have in you to let you see them hurt and let you take care of them must be huge.

they appreciate it so much, and they won’t let you forget it <3

For selfshippers with an absurd amount of f/os imagine them all fighting over you, but it's in a reality show format.

sometimes i forget this but like its ok to have a lot of lore for ur selfships and its ok to have like no lore for ur selfships. its cool to have pages on pages of headcanons and fics and drawings and its ok to just see a character and go that's my f/o now. its epic to have a fully fleshed out s/i and tons of ideas and its pog to have none at all. don't be too hard on yourself or ever feel any less valid for not having as much detail to your ships as others and never feel bad or annoying about having too much either cause it's not possible and there's no one right way to selfship

Ooh. Please please make more self-inserts. Not only is it fun you have no idea how much it can help you be kind to yourself. Have the hero of the franchise fall in love with you for what you think are your annoying quirks. Have the wisest man in that fictional world, tell others that your are the kindest and the smartest person he has ever met. Have the evil guy fall for you and revoke his evil ways cuz youre just that hot. Allow yourself to be loved by the fictional characters you look up to and in time you may also begin see how wonderful you really are.

Tbh I really like it when magical girls are themed around stuff like food or flowers or animals that you see everyday or pop music, like it's all stuff we can sometimes take for granted but through magical girls, their real power is shown and appreciated. Food connects people and nourishes body and soul. Animals are our compatriots in this wild world, be they housecats or tigers. Flowers bring color and vibrance to the world. Music brings out emotion and speaks directly to our hearts when words alone cannot. All of those things can move us, even if they just make our day a tiny bit better. And in mahou shoujo, their ability to move people is literally turned into a force for good, into a light that vanquishes evil great and small.

your f/o totally has a soft spot for you! they prioritize you over anything else, they adore you and most definitely melt whenever they see you around ♡ plus, whether they happily admit it or not, there’s no denying just how much you stun them when you walk into the room. how dazed they are when you smile at them. how quick they are to lose their composure because of you. their loved ones might tease them about how easily you seem to make them swoon, which is pretty embarrassing, but they can’t help it – it’s true!

if they’re calm and relaxed or already easily flustered from the get go, whatever, you just.. affect them somehow. their heart skips a beat and wheww, they’d do anything for you! trust me.
