Started playing Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines and it’s weird that they made a game for me eighteen years ago and never told me.

Another thing I just love about dishonored is the casual queer representation.

Like it's so nice just to see these casually mentioned and not a big deal made out of them. It's part of the world and no one questions it. I absolutely adore it.

Sorry english people, but what follows is too french an opinion to voice in english (I'll sum it up for u in the end <3)
(And words of wisdom from my evil advisor @quijicroix : légende vivante (de Lorenzo) ça va avec tout.
Welcome back english people ! To sum it up : la vie en rose is a french song for tourists that set up a fight or flight reaction in every native speaker. I'm glad people enjoyed this, but I cannot describe the cringe and disappointment I felt when they decided to have him sing this song- (even tho he sings it beautifully (which is part of the disappointment))
They are SO MUCH love songs in french, why this one.
PS : at this point (ep7) I don't know why Stede is still bothering with Ed "I'm hitting the banks didn't tell him which one" teach, when Izzy hands is right there ????? Sir please open your eyes

Always remember: In a pinch you can bypass imposter syndrome by just flipping the script on people. Everyone's making it up as they go along, anyway, and 95% of the time nobody ever questions you like you're scared that they will. But if someone would? With what authority, exactly? Are they really qualified to make that judgement? Okay fine but what clown college gave them those qualifications? Okay fine sure that's a legit university to get a PhD from, but are they sure they didn't just get lucky to stumble in there and then accidentally stumble out with a degree? Who are they to claim you shouldn't be there, if they can't tell for sure if they are supposed to be there?
Physically, you may get wrestled our of there by the facility security. But emotionally, you can take them down with you.

the thing about the garden of eden is that while eve was partially deceived into eating the fruit of knowledge, she primarily did it of her own volition because she wanted to know. whereas adam only ate it to be with eve. she's everything he's just ken
His Dark Materials is a franchise that tackles so many branches of physics and even creates a universe where the main course of study is experimental theology which is all about identifying and explaining dark matter while also adding dimensions to string theory, the multiverse theory, and the very concept of the human soul. At the same time, it aggressively calls out the problem with the state being controlled by the church, how people are condemned for being different and religious fearmongering stops the chance at growth both on an individual and a societal scale. It’s a franchise where the heroes of the story are two children who aren’t allowed to know the prophecy they’re a part of, who save the world unwittingly simply by doing what they believe to be right. Meanwhile, the person who thought he was the hero all along, the person who rallied an army from multiple universes to FIGHT. GOD. HIMSELF. is ultimately consumed by his own ego and forced to take a back seat when he realises he’s just one tiny piece of a much larger story that’s true heart is his own daugher. The child he abandoned, the child he didn’t know or care to know how to look after. It’s a franchise about finding love even when your biological family abandon you, it’s about looking evil in the eye and seeing your own mother, it’s about good and evil not being black and white but instead a complex and cruel mixture of both. It’s about the two worst people you know banding together at the last second to save their daughter with their final breaths. It’s about exploration and learning how to grow through experience, it’s about kindness being shared across the multiverse, exchanging stories with strangers and saving the whole world by doing something perfectly ordinary and receiving no reward.
Oh, and it’s also a franchise rich with fantasy, with giant talking polar bears, witches and ghosts, angels and daemons, and a mammal-like species from another world that travels exclusively on roller skates.
And it fucking. rocks.

Here's the comic I did for @jeypawlik "Swim On 9" charity shark series please check out this and the other zines at the link below. Fun fact: I reference that Greenland had a previous numeral system than the one used now. The oldest shark found is not quite older that when the modern numbers started to be introduced but there may be older ones and its nice thought. https://topazcomics.com/swimon/downloads/
tiktoks like these crack me up because they look so cute and the comments are full of people tagging their partners but like these fish are FIGHTING
they are PISSED at each other and the only weapons they have are their teeny tiny fishy teeth
my other controversial take for the day is that anger, sadness, shame and fear are seen as inherently negative emotions and because of that the second you express them you are deemed as 'not good' because of experiencing the full breadth of the human experience. so instead of not experiencing these feelings (impossible challenge) everyone just hides them and we develop weirder and weirder complexes about them until we wind up finding new ways to psychologically torment each other.
you've got to learn how to express these feelings, earnestly, when to express them and how to process them yourself. you are going to make mistakes in doing so. but simply denying you have them or WORSE, denying yourself the experience of them by bottling them away... there is no crueler fate and you will never understand why you keep hurting yourself and others regardless.
You must believe that the world is going to change. You must believe that you can change it. Not alone, like some ruggedly individualist caped superhero, but as part of a mass movement, a superorganism, a shared heart, a moment of unity. You must trust that your actions matter, even when they don’t. You must remember that even if going to a protest or opening your doors to the desperate or giving up hyperpconsumption cannot alter the wider societal patterns if only you undertake to do so, that you are just one drop of water in an ocean. And it will change you. That is often the first step. You must believe that one day all the fossils will stay in the ground. You must believe that one day war will be a distant memory. You must believe that one day women will dance in the streets at night unafraid. You must believe that one day land will belong to everyone and queer liberation will be achieved. You must believe it. Even if your great-grandchildren do not live to see it done. Prefiguration is praxis. It’s therapy. It’s all we have.
