21st August - If there was a tropical island made just for you, what would you find on it?
money growing from trees; i like money.

📜 revisiting a developmental psych essay to apply some feedback i recently received. today has been so busy, but i’ve been more mindful of each task and reminding myself how important it is to take it slow (no matter how overwhelming the to-do list is to begin with). i’ve realized that a lot of my work-related anxiety comes down to feeling like i’m racing against the clock. so once those worries start creeping up, i take a second to breathe deep and get a sip of water. it’s been changing the course of my days in the most positive of ways. i hope you are all having a safe wednesday!
09.04.21 / sending you happy friday from my workspace. i hope you’ve had a lovely week ♡

Cognitive behavioral therapy notes
Slowly getting used to using my iPad to take digital notes! Hate how much it heats up though, looking forward to trading this one in for the new one next month 💛
Really struggling this week but we have to remember to be kind to ourselves. If the only thing you achieved today was getting out of bed and taking a shower, i'm proud of you and you should be too.
June is here!!!!!
And one of my exams is also here because, reasons 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
where I spend a lot of my time lately. spent today studying for an upcoming project/presentation i’m doing on children and alcoholics and depression. very interesting. i’ve felt much better the last couple of days and have been managing to get a good amount of research done.
the stay at home order just got extended again to june 2nd. bittersweet. not looking forward to work but not enjoying being broke either.
To everyone learning a language, who is getting frustrated and impatient and maybe even thinking of quitting: remember how far you have come (not how far you have to go), remember why you started and remember how fantastic the end product will be. Learning a language is difficult and the journey can be long but it is rewarding and it opens so many doors. You are capable of doing this, you can do this… don’t quit now
