who else celebrates halloween but it's completely different from the way everyone else celebrates halloween so you are scared to say you celebrate it bc it could give people the wrong idea of how you celebrate it or something (like glorifying gore or watching horror movies or dressing up with fake blood or idk)
We just dress up as favorite characters and it's another reason to get together with family.
Welcome to the 2nd Quarter Quell and the 50th annual Hunger Games!!
And May the Odds be Ever in Your Favour.
Have you guys seen the spotify wrapped writing prompt ask game? I'm sort of attempting it and I think some of my writer mutuals would enjoy it!
boromir "the dog who weeps after it bites is not different from the dog who doesnt"
Oh ok! That makes so much sense now. Thanks for the clarification! lol
So you guys I thought I had posted this weeks ago but apparently I didn't soooooo here is this thing
This was an artfight attack that I did on @meadow-roses character Alisdair (from a collab story) meeting my character Alistair (I thought it would be funny for them to meet because of their name similarities), and Elina is in the background:0 (a character from @masterfuldoodler but the same story, if thats how it works lol) (although I feel like she doesn't look quite right) But I didn't realize when artfight was ending so it was too late to post it lol.
It was really fun to draw though! I love your characters
Also I wasn't sure how protective Alisdair would be of his sword and this is what pose came to mind sooo Alistair is admiring it (hope thats ok) ...But I kinda think they'd get along well and pretty quickly
Boromir had a long sword, in fashion like Anduril but of less lineage and he bore also a shield and his war-horn. 'Loud and clear it sounds in the valleys of the hills,' he said, `and then let all the foes of Gondor flee!' Putting it to his lips he blew a blast, and the echoes leapt from rock to rock, and all that heard that voice in Rivendell sprang to their feet. 'Slow should you be to wind that horn again, Boromir,' said Elrond. 'until you stand once more on the borders of your land, and dire need is on you.' `Maybe,' said Boromir.
this is funnier every time i read it
the way this is written there is no impetus for boromir to describe and blow the horn. i am picturing that 'off-screen' so to speak, maybe pippin or somebody pointed to the horn of gondor and said 'hey whats that' and the answer was OH ITS SUPER LOUD ITS TOTALLY SICK LET ME SHOW YOU FWEET FWEEEEEEEEET but maybe that didn't happen and boromir really did this with zero provocation.
everyone in rivendell freaked out
'friendo, do not blow that thing again until you are back in your own country, and even then, it had better be dire'
'Maybe,' said Boromir
