Been thinking about c!Tommy a lot and his ending on the server. (The epilogue version the nuke doesn’t exist to me)

He kills dream. He uses all that built up anger and takes tubbo with him into the prison, there’s a fuck ton of contraptions because Dream has conned over Sam and got him hauled up somewhere in the prison. There’s traps and They both get hurt but in the end it’s pure rage that has Tommy killing dream. No bullshit forgiveness- he is the one true character who deserves this, to have dream at his mercy.

Tommy killed dream, ran after him, fought him, scratched him, sliced him and at one point beats him bloody. Dreams face is carved in, he’s gasping, bleeding and then he’s dead. Tommy doesn’t take it well because- well he’s become something he fought so hard against but he deserves this right? He throws up anyways, chokes on his words and gags over the gritty mess because it is finally over and dream is dead. Or, they think he is.

Tubbo does anyways and just to take out his own right in this situation, he stomps down on dreams skull- both realising he was in fact still alive as he went to do so. So now thier both guilty, both sickened but relieved at this revelation. Dream is dead because of them. It’s only fair.

Sam, the very warden of the server finds them. Tommy doesn’t cry, doesn’t mutter a wink of guilt and offers a breathy joke of “Took you a while.” The blood still decorates him, floods from his chittering lips and tubbos boots are carved with human skin upon the bottom of his heel.

Screaming, arguing, pleading for an inch of understanding Tubbo is restrained, marched out by trusted wardens- he doesn’t deserve this. But Tommy, Tommy takes it in the most deafening feeling of numbness. His gaze doesn’t reflect the sun once they are lead out, the sun doesn’t dare grace them this morn. It’s grey, it’s on the verge of spilling into tears but Tommy isn’t. He stands, arms roughly restrained behind his back with rope, taking in his audience. There’s familiarity in this, akin to a man he once knew but this time Tommy did something no one could. He rose from the rubble. So before the server, those stood in awe upon the parting hill beside the river, his date is sealed.

Exile.

Tubbo won’t stop, now put in the hands of a fate Tommy once embraced in sinking grief but as grass is stomped down, orders are given, Tommy stares forth. Accepting this time.

They are soon to head for a boat, sent away and to be killed on sight if ever brought back because what they did was a crime. So much more than dream could ever do right? It’s not like people hadn’t died from another’s hands but time and time again they are different. He accepts this. Marched past, some pipe up about dream, staring the two down in horror because these are the boys they once knew, the boys who fought playfully in uniform, who spit bite but held no punch nor grudge. It was inevitable wasn’t it? Why wouldn’t they think that? Some however, gasp and grasp at the wardens, at Sam with a lawful argue in the twos right. ‘They made this place’ they say, ‘You can’t just do that.’ But they can and they will.

Because there’s one thing about this fucking server that the two should’ve learnt years ago;

No one wanted them there in the first place.

Them blocky heads.

Lan Zhan and Wei Ying followed their string to meet during the Cloud Recesses lectures, but Wei Ying cut it during the golden core transfer (or maybe the transfer... withered it? blackened it? I can’t remember). The fic then picks up when Wei Ying is brought back to life and the red thread forms between them again, allowing Lan Zhan to find Wei Ying again. I would love to read this story again! If anyone has any clues, please share. Thank you!

6. Hello lovely mods, I think I'm losing my mind. I saw two wangxian fics on ao3 recently that I planned to come back to but then couldn't find again with (various permutations of) the same tags. Did I dream them? Halp!

A) First fic: it was a modern au, something about fashionista LWJ, and WWX in a dress or feminized in some way. I think it was a PWP where it starts with them going out to dinner but may be mistaken on that point.

B) Second fic: time travel fix it but it's jin guangyao traveling back. There's something about how he'll do anything to make lan xichen smile, and that's how wwx becomes his problem. In the notes it mentions how jin guangyao remains as morally grey as ever, or something like that.

Do these stories exist outside of my head??!

For Fic Finder please: I am looking for a fic (possibly two) where Wei Wuxian played GusuLan music during the Phoenix Mountain hunt, which other disciples recognized and they all clamored "why do you know Gusu folk music?" I think I might be confusing two fics though, and if either or both could be found that would be great! In my first thought WWX used Lan musical cultivation songs to help on the hunt (maybe to calm down crazed disciples?) and the Lan disciples got angry that an outsider knew Lan sect secret music. The other thought is that it was when WWX was blindfolded and resting in the tree he played Lan folk music, and I think a commotion was caused by disciples thinking he was trying to seduce Jiang Yanli but Madame Jin defends him saying she recognized the songs and that they were harmless. With Jiang Cheng's help he disguised himself as a frail woman and the cover story was that "she" was a Jiang cousin or something, come to take refuge. I think Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng even pretended to get engaged to further the disguise. Everything was revealed comedically at a Jin conference where *shock and awe* Wei Wuxian couldn't help himself from flirting with Lan Wangji. Would love to read this again!

So WangXian are arranged married, I'm very sertain it's canon divergent and the war doesn't/hasn't happened yet. WWX tries very much to become a productive member of the Lan clan, but his efforts are unappreciated, and the only thing he's allowed to help with is some basic talisman that any junior can do. He can't leave because he doesn't want to shame the Jiangs and also doesn't have any money because Madame Yu negotiated his marriage contract to put him at a disadvantage. LWJ doesn't yet know how to defend WWX and doesn't go against his family, but he eventually realizes that he hasn't been a good husband and cries about it to LXC because he doesn't know what to do.
