Rewatching AoT and just finished S4 Ep 8: Assassin's Bullet. Gabi Braun can go straight to hell. Like, directly to hell.

Just as some background, I'm a senior in high school and I'm on the cross country team. My brother's friends live relatively close to me and him so we end up carpooling to and from practice (although with school, it's more carpooling from practice). Our one idiot friend's dad sometimes gets us from practice. Now, this guy annoys me. When we had practice in the summer, he'd occasionally take us there and when he did, he'd get us there late. Anyway, homecoming is coming up and a couple days ago, the dad was talking us home from practice and he was talking to all of us and he's saying something like, "I know this guy and he has some girls that I can set you guys up with as dates for homecoming". Now, I'm gay. However, I'm not admitting that to everyone in the car (there were four of us kids and besides me, everyone is a junior). And the LAST person I'm telling my secret to is this kid's dad. And he started talking to me for a bit, saying "@cadawan, you're not saying anything. You up for a date?" and I was caught off guard so I just go "Hm? Oh...uh, nah". I was sitting in the very back of his car, btw. And I know that he isn't really gonna set us up with dates but istg if he actually did I'd be friggin pissed. That would just be really awkward for me and I'm sure whoever the girls is, she wouldn't like me. I wouldn't want her asking me something like "What's wrong? Do you not like me or something?". Like, what do I say to that?

"Sorry darling, girls just don't do it for me"?

"Sorry, I prefer dudes"?

"Sorry, I'm gay, tho"?

Like, that's all I can think of saying.

Side note, there's actually this cute boy on the cross country team that I totally have a crush on and I'm pretty sure he's gay too but I dunno know if he has a bf and I'm too chicken shit to ask. I personally wouldn't go with a date to homecoming but if he asked me, I wouldn't be able to refuse. He is SUCH a sweet kid and I feel really awkward about fantasizing about kissing him but I can't help it. He is legit the only reason I like going to practice.

Here's a random, quick, and not completely thought through anime take:

Okay, so I'm rewatching AoT (for like, at least the 8th time), and I'm on S3 Ep 15. If you forget which one that is, it's in the reclaiming of Wall Maria arc, and it begins with a flashback to the reclaiming of Trost arc showing us how Marco actually died. **Spoiler alert if you haven't seen it yet: He overhears Reiner and Bertholdt talking abt their titan forms, and they tackle him onto a roof/front door overhead, have Annie strip him of his ODM gear, and leave him there for a titan to eat.

Now, while I do blame Reiner, Annie, and I guess Bertholdt (though he didn't do much), I can't help but feel like Marco could've survived at least a bit longer. Why? Well, unless they broke his legs and the anime just skipped over that, I thought of a couple of ways off the top of my head:

Way 1 – the window: If he turned his head to the left, he would notice a window, which Annie threw his ODM gear through, which created a hole big enough for his arm to fit through and which very clearly had the ability to open. He could've easily put his arm through and opened the window from the inside and crawled in before the titan got to him OR if he didn't have enough time, he had boots, so just kick the window in and crawl through.

Way 2 – the door: He coulda just rolled his ass off the roof (yes, it's sorta high, but not THAT high) and kicked in the door or any nearby door.

Again, that is unless, of course, they broke his legs, and the anime just skipped over that part, but even then, the window is a valid option.

Optimist: The glass is half full.

Pessimist: The glass is half empty.

Me: Well, you see, it depends. Was the liquid just poured, or did someone drink from the glass/pour some out? If door #1, then it's half full. If door #2, then it's half empty.

Note: This is coming from someone who hasn't finished the anime. I only made it halfway through before I couldn't take it.

With that note out of the way, can someone please explain why people like Redo of Healer so much? Like, don't get me wrong, I understand people will like what they wanna like, and I haven't finished the anime, so for all I know, it gets better in the second half, but given that there is an abundance of r@pe/implications of it, I find it at least a tad strange that so many people jump to defend it and say it's amazing. Like, I personally couldn't finish it because I hated seeing the cute main character guy getting abused, degraded, and r@ped, so I shut it off.

Now I'm not saying you're not allowed to like it, I'm simply asking if someone can explain why it is so liked, and don't come at me with that one jackass's response of "Because people will like what they want to like", because that's so half-assed. That is essentially this situation's equivalent of "Because I said so".

Unless I'm missing some joke and the people who hype it up are just doing that to mess with people who haven't heard of it, in which case... ha hah. But fr, explanation plz.....

Happy birthday to Historia Reiss.

Sensitive gen z snowflakes (especially ones on TikTok) get on my damn nerves sometimes all the fuggin time. My favorite TikTokker is a small account called Snakebeast69. He tells it like it is, like how soft people can be, things people aren't ready to hear, words losing their meaning nowadays, etc. But there are always those snowflakes who get offended over literally everything. I'm serious, they literally have to be joking at this point.

They throw baseless accusations out there, calling him racist, sexist, homophobic, and transphobic. Here's the best part, when Snakebeast or any of his fans (myself included) ask them for proof that he is any of those things, those sensitive bruhs get real silent. I've gotten into a few arguments with little sensitive assholes on his page yesterday and today. Whenever is ask them for proof, they stop responding.

I went back and forth with this one fucker who (obviously) was getting pressed at Snakebeast's video and at the comments agreeing with the video. I myself left a comment agreeing with the video. Lil boi called me a "diq rider". Literally spelled it "diq". I'm betting he was afraid his mommy was gonna get mad at him for spelling "dick".

Anyway, back on track. Yeah, this is just a little PSA for y'all: You can't call someone a bigot just because you don't like them. When you accuse anyone of anything, sorry but you need to show proof. Someone isn't a racist just because you say they are. Oh yeah, that brings me to another argument I got into in the comments on one of his videos.

Here's how the conversation played out.

Me: "You're racist" Their proof: Trust me bro, he just is.

Snowflake: He is.

Me: What evidence do you have that he is? Like, I've scrolled through all of his accounts. Never found one racist thing he said or did.

Snowflake: Because I said he is that's why.

Me: Real talk, ur joking right?

Snowflake: No I'm not joking.

Me: You're serious? Sorry but if he's never said or done anything racist, then he's not racist. He ain't racist just cuz you don't like him.

So far at the time I'm writing this (14 hours after the argument), the person hasn't responded.

Oh, and if you don't believe me (because their logic makes the argument sound ridiculous) I have screenshots. If you see this and you want proof, I got it.

Side note, I haven't watched the new Obi-Wan series yet. Is it good?
