"Are you even watching the show?" Yes, sadly, but you clearly aren't!

Wait, how did he help defeat him?
dess turns into a science experiment so her and her sister may have a better life (noelle would’ve never wanted this in the first place she just wanted to be with her sister)
honestly noelle may not even recognize dess at first… that’s how much she changed.
Note: This is coming from someone who hasn't finished the anime. I only made it halfway through before I couldn't take it.
With that note out of the way, can someone please explain why people like Redo of Healer so much? Like, don't get me wrong, I understand people will like what they wanna like, and I haven't finished the anime, so for all I know, it gets better in the second half, but given that there is an abundance of r@pe/implications of it, I find it at least a tad strange that so many people jump to defend it and say it's amazing. Like, I personally couldn't finish it because I hated seeing the cute main character guy getting abused, degraded, and r@ped, so I shut it off.
Now I'm not saying you're not allowed to like it, I'm simply asking if someone can explain why it is so liked, and don't come at me with that one jackass's response of "Because people will like what they want to like", because that's so half-assed. That is essentially this situation's equivalent of "Because I said so".
Unless I'm missing some joke and the people who hype it up are just doing that to mess with people who haven't heard of it, in which case... ha hah. But fr, explanation plz.....
