THEN CJS BREAKING THROUGH THE ROOF. WHILE FIGHTING THE MURDER DEMON???????????????? Sui just being so goddamn done with him..... CJS just smiling and greeting Cale as if he hasn't seen him since HE DIED IN FRONT OF HIM (same thing happened with Sui these little shits...) and as if Cale isn't covered head to toe in his own blood and stuffing his face, as if he isn't fighting one of the most powerful people IN THIS WORLD??????

Lmao there was a comment on a chapter of King’s Maker that went “It’s always the redheads that cause the chaos” and someone simply replied with “Cale Henituse” and everyone was agreeing with them. No questions asked none needed

QUESTIONS TO ASK DURING FIRST PHASE OF EDITING

GENERAL STRUCTURE OF THE BOOK (what the story is and how it is being told):

What is the book about? What is the driving force behind the narrative?

Who is the audience for this book?

Is it based on real experience?

Does the story work? Are there any parts that feel unconvincing or where the narrative drags? 

Are there any parts I don’t understand?

What is the trajectory or the shape of the story?

Does the story start in the right place?

How quickly do I become immersed in the book?

Are there any points where my immersion in the story is broken, or I lose interest?

Do I believe in what I’m reading?

How satisfying is the ending? Does it feel inevitable?

Does it feel like anything is missing?

Is there anything extraneous (characters, detail, unnecessary plot points)?

What is the narrative point of view (first person, second person, third person)? Does it change? Is it consistent? Does it work? What might be lost or gained if the story were told another way?

Is the tense consistent? If it changes, is it necessary?

Does coincidence feature as a plot device? If so, is there another way to engineer the same events?

The background is light gold colors, everything is just the slightest bit fuzzy. It seems as though they're in Cale's bed. Raon feels warm.

Cale begins to pet Raon softly on his head.

When skies are gray

Raon snuggles into Cale's arms just a bit more

As Raon is closing his eyes, we see Cale's mouth begin to shake a little.

How much I love you

Cale brings Raon into his arms in an embrace, the point of view gets closer to them and we see Cale's shoulders begin to shake

Please don't take

As the point of view backs away, the warm and gold background slowly fades into a battlefield.

My sunshine away

We see Cale hunched over Raon, the indestructible shield covering them, they're in the middle of a battlefield with some of their comrades fallen next to them. Some fighting is still going on in the background as the screen fades to black

A concept in my head that been rolling around a lot:

Hanahaki, but instead of it being triggered by unrequited love, it's triggered because all the love you have for a person turns inwards because you're too afraid to show it.

So it kills you, not because someone doesn't love you back, but because you don't let it out and all that love you have stored, that could grow into something beautiful, turns on you and turns your insides beautiful.

Love is growth, and without any place for it to grow outside, it grows in. If you confess, reciprocated or not, the disease goes away because it's no longer trapped. It gives self-destruction a new meaning.
