Ralsei’s Astral Projection habit - it’s not about us.

It’s about Susie.

Twice now, Ralsei pulls Kris aside and asks them to think about what Susie’s doing.

People have theorized this is to “get alone time away from the Player”, but I think he actually does this because he’s trying to communicate something about Susie to Kris.

“Astral Projection”?

Both Kris and Ralsei act like they’re viewing/have viewed Susie’s scenes.

In Chapter 2, Ralsei is alright with Kris not viewing Susie’s scene if they’re not interested.

 If doing the Snowgrave route, Kris will skip Susie’s scene by themself, and Ralsei, after initially being flustered, will say, “As long as Susie’s happy”.

So that’s why - what?

Cale is the mysterious priest that will show up in the Whipper and Paerun kingdoms history

Ogcale! Still had the soul of a regresses (Now will he regress as krs or Cale)

Ogcale! Still has the soul of a Thames making him a hunter

Raon is a dragon lord

*Cale is technically a saint of death

*Cage has healing powered and is also technically a holy maiden

*All 3 of them refuse said titles

To some degree’s Taylor and Cage have hit on Cale

Cale when around choosing high rank officials, this includes at least 2 emperors

Cale smells like nature, so like a forest or something

Princes Alberu will live a long life compare to humans so he plans to retire in Endable

These are just some fun things I forgot about and am just catching while re-reading. It’s fun to see how the characters progress and just see thing and be like “oh yeah that was a thing!”.

Like remember when Cale first meet Clopeh? He pretended to be some holy entity send by god to burn a lake just to fuck with him. Like why （＾∇＾）

Is this an actual reason kids wanted to travel around the world with Cale??? Is this the culprit??

Because if that's so this is fucking adorable

When i first read the novel and in the future chapters On, Hong and Raon were telling Cale that they want to travel everywhere together i just went "Aw that's sweet, yeah sure" not questioning much of it because, well, Cale didn't either. And I'm a very trustful person, who didn't thought about our narrator being a lying little shit back then.

So rereading the novel now and seeing this gives me literal butterflies!

Just think about it.

Children, who never saw much of the world, whose thoughts before been only about survival, wanted to travel everywhere together and see everything, but not for themselves.

They thought that will make Cale happy.

On, Hong and Raon obviously love Cale a lot, he is literally their parent and the first ever person to show them warmth or care.

So it is understandable that they want to show this love to him in return and I'm like :,) MAN, i love this story so much ueue

Susie was not in a good place at the beginning of Ch 1.

I think we should try taking a closer look at where she came from to understand what her state of mind was back then.

Susie isn’t from Hometown.

Wherever she was from, she was not treated well.

And, upon coming to Hometown…things weren’t much better.

In Hometown, Susie is

Chronically underfed

Likely homeless

Hated by most of her classmates

Close to being expelled and losing her last tether to a normal life

Susie was at the very, very end of her rope at the beginning of Chapter 1.

if you want a basic outline of Greek mythology okay sure fine??? but like. if you want an extensive fucking reference site you are looking in the wrong goddamn places

as a self-declared greek mythology snob my reference site is fucking always this fucker right here. almost every single figure ever mentioned in a Greek text is on it, it has the most obscure gods, spirits, nymphs– it’s GREAT. You really wanna extend your mythological knowledge past the basic 12 and like four others? USE THEOI.  plus plus PLUS everything is cited so you can actually read the source material written about whoever it is you’re looking at.
