i will absolutely 100% ruin my bug universe lore if i post the animatic i just made rn but the urge is SO STRONG and it’s FIRE but i rlly have to build up lore first 😭😭😭

great egret for my tenth bird referenced in sparkbird’s music!! i’ve been so so busy but this was fun and i’m trying to prioritize drawing more because it makes me happy :))

Help me with a super secret project! Sparkbird’s Draw-A-Bird event is happening NOW until 3/21! (yes, the Atlantisia art contest is also going till that same date… this is unrelated!)

1. Draw a bird following one of the templates provided.

more tracing than drawing, but i did a fun little exercise with some arkansas native critters using negative space! (all are tracings of photos off google, they’re easy to find if you google the species.)

i was heavily inspired by @hoorayitsefe on instagram! she did a cute fish and flower one and inspired me to do the sort of scratch paper design. i definitely needed something to turn my brain off a bit and relax and this is so fun, might be adding more of these in the future 👀

Hi! I'm Remi, I'm a non-binary student studying Wildlife and soon to be Entomology. I spend a lot of my time outside, drawing, or studying.
