I'm finally getting some fucking justice

For some context, I used to live part time with my mother's awful borderline abusive boyfriend, and last February they broke up. There's a court thing going on now because his daughter's mother (who is a really sweet person) is filing for full custody. I finally get to actually share what happened to the judge (via a letter) and give them my perspective on the whole thing. I'm awful at explaining it but basically, I'm writing to a judge, and I get to tell them how awful he was and hopefully they let her mother get full custody.

i absolutely hate when people say "if you like harry potter then you are just as bad as JKR!" no. no i'm not as bad as a fucking acephobic terf because i enjoy a book series. I'm not sitting here donating my last penny to JKR to get rid of all the trans people, i'm reading fucking words on a page. i myself am an asexual who falls under the trans umbrella, and so are many of my friends, and we all fucking hate JKR. we all agree that she is literal scum scraped off the trash cans of hell. we don't agree with anything she says or does. we get any and all merch, books, and movies secondhand or from totally legal sites. we are all harry potter fans. just because we enjoy a book or movie does not mean we despise trans people or are on any level near as bad as her.

I support trans rights. I wish this was the default unless I outwardly say otherwise… What a world we live in 🙄 let us not turn against each other merely based on what our hobbies/interests are. I listen to The Smiths but I’m not a racist; I like Harry Potter but I’m not a transphobe; I enjoyed Hunger by Hamsun but I’m not a Nazi. Yeah, that makes sense if you have common sense. Not all authors/artists are good people. So let’s fortify our moral compass by grounding them when they’re outrageously ignorant, but not ignoring what makes US happy because WE are not in the wrong.

I get insults/hate all the time. But literally to call me something as if I am a vessel of hatred?? No, I cannot stand it. I support trans rights; I just wished you all assumed I did by default.

And to yall who call me a homophobe/transphobe/sexist in my DMS, you could not be more wrong. Uhhhhh You don’t know me at all, you don’t know what IVE been through, so literally STFU. I’ve been trying to ignore those comments but i got CAT called/followed today and then i opened my DMs and saw THAT??? Hell no. I’m NOT one of those disgusting, rotten people which dehumanize others and I will never be. This world is disgusting and it won’t continue with me.
