Update Check In - October 7th thru October 10th, 2023 ๐
I am officially back home from seeing my boyfriend and now I am big sad because I already miss him again. I was not as productive as I thought I wouldโve been while with him these last three days but Iโm also not mad about my lack of stuff done. I got some quality time with him and I am so happy with that. I did do some things that would count s productivity, such as some Japanese studying and a short amount of homework. I think Iโll use this post as a motivator for some stuff I need to do with a little bit of what I did this weekend.
๐ฉท What I Accomplished -
Kept up Duolingo daily streak
Kept up Busuu daily streak
Began working in Lesson One in Genki I
Submitted and passed Psyc Quiz for Chapter 7
Began using LingQ for Japanese
Looked into Kanji learning books
so yes, I didnโt accomplish much but again, not mad. I am still happy with what I did accomplish. I also really enjoy the Genki I textbook so far, Iโm still trying to figure out a good note taking technique for myself with this textbook but I really like writing down the end of lesson practice exercises. I think I want to get better at reading and writing, and listening, and my goal is to start italki lessons by December/Jaunary. If I donโt start my italki lessons until a bit later tho, I wonโt be upset because I know learning Japanese is a long process and something Iโll be working on for a good chunk of my life.
๐ฉท ToDo Personal Today, Oct 11 -
Wash bed sheets + pillowcases
Wash + put away all laundry (clothes)
Do dishes
Continue to work on Genki I lesson one
Maintain Duolingo streak
Maintain Busuu streak
Use Renshuu
Look for some more affordable Japanese language resources for my IPad
Talk to my boyfriend in video call
Make a shopping list for language tracker/bullet journal (I get paid tomorrow)
Make a schedule/routine for working out (Iโm going back to the gym next week!)
๐ฉท ToDo Academic for Today, October 11 -
Lifecycle nutrition chart for NUTR
Lab 7 Pre Lab for my Anatomy Lab
Discussion 3 for NUTR
Culinary chapter 10 quiz
not much academic stuff on the list for the day but Iโm trying to take it a little easier with my school things as I am exhausted from a long day of flying and airports yesterday. However, I am using today as like, a set up day for my upcoming days/week. Productive planning is basically my goal for today with a little bit of actively doing some work. I am excited to start my language tracking bullet journal and plan some stuff for working out as I am planning on going back to the gym next week. I want to start with light cardio for the first week just to get me in the habit of going and then after Iโm going to step back into the weight room and start lifting light. My boyfriend got me motivated to work on my mental and physical health a bit better, so Iโm definitely excited!
I feel with the exercising, it will help me manage my stress better, which I feel will lead to better mood and better food choices. Exercising alone is enough of a motivator to take my nutrition more seriously. Iโm more focused on the mental and emotional health aspect of working out than I am the physical stuff, but Iโm excited for all the benefits regardless. I just want to take better care of my health in every aspect, in a way that aligns with my values. Hopefully I will have better posts full of more information and stuff Iโve done during the day once I get all areas in my life back in balance with each other.
thatโs all for now! I appreciate all of you who read and comment and send me the most encouraging and supportive messages, you all keep me motivated and inspired to continue being my most authentic self and help me feel comfortable with expressing myself in this community. I am so grateful for everything that goes into this blog and everything itโs done for me and the direction itโs helped me guide my life in! Much love to all of you <3

April 7th, 2025 ๐
My brain did not let me study or do much this weekend and it was seriously bugging me, but I'm trying not to beat myself up about it because it was that time of month and lately it has been messing with me hard whenever it's that time of month. Plus, work was really tiring this weekend and I've been a little stressed out about some things.
What I Accomplished (April 6th) ๐
completed and passed a quiz for one of my online classes
worked 9am to 3pm
took a 40 min nap on the couch
worked on my study guide for health psychology for ~10min
chatted with my roommates for a while
Not the most productive day yesterday, but it was not a bad day. I was super tired and anxious yesterday, but I had a decent day regardless.
Todo Today (April 7) โจ๏ธ
study for exercise physiology exam ๐
make study quizlet for health psych ๐ป
work on study guide for health psych โ๏ธ
work 230pm to ~930pm โ๏ธ
double check on classes before registering for next semester ๐ซฃ

make to do list for tomorrow ๐ก
Not an extensive list, but just stuff I need to get done. My health psych exam is Thursday and I believe my exercise physiology exam opens on Friday. I have a couple of small projects coming due next week, and some assignments that need completing later this week. It's lock in time now that the semester is almost over.

April 2nd, 2025 ๐
Yesterday was not a good day. I was able to get a decent amount of chores done but I ended up having a sort of breakdown about some stuff going on in my life, I cried several times and ended up not being able to really focus on anything. I stayed up way later than I needed to and honestly just tried to be kind to myself because stuff feels heavy sometimes.
What I Accomplished (April 1st) ๐
washed dishes
put away clean laundry
ran another load of laundry
washed my towels, blanket, and pillow cases
tidied up around my room
took out three bags of trash
ordered groceries
watched a little bit of Attack on Titan
listed more items for sale on my depop
Yeah, not my most productive day, but I don't want to beat myself up about it. Stuff happens, and I just gotta keep my head above water and call that a win sometimes.
ToDo Today (April 2nd) โจ๏ธ
complete assignment 6 for one of my online classes (it's due tomorrow) ๐ป
work on chapter 10 notes for exercise physiology (at least a little bit) โ๏ธ
make a study quizlet for exercise physiology
make a study quizlet for health psychology
gratitude journal ๐
morning + night skincare ๐ฟ
work a night shift, 230pm to ~930pm โ๏ธ
I need to start drastically limiting my caffeine intake. I definitely think the amount of caffeine I consume is unhealthy and is contributing to my heightened levels of anxiety and uneasiness. It will definitely do me some good to make some changes with that for sure.
I still haven't decided what language to pick back up yet, but I'm not in any rush to make a decision just yet either. I need to look at what classes to take next semester, if I'm switching colleges or not. And I need to fill out my FAFSA. But those will be tasks for another day right now.

I love this, gotta try some of these
you know i had to include the ultimate form of social media. pinterest is one of the only truly peaceful social media apps out there and focuses on sharing photos to your themed boards. this app is everything if youโre into making vision boards, moodboards, beauty, productivity, and really anything else. thereโs something there for everyone!
finch
this is a wonderful self-care app, in which you take care of a bird while taking care of yourself! this is my new favorite app. i use the free version and it is adorable. the app asks you some questions about your goals and how you feel about self care, and gives you some daily goals based on your answers, but you can delete and add goals of your own. the more you log in and track your goals, the more adventures your bird can go on and the more they grow. i recommend this app to absolutely everyone and i will never shut up about it.
gymshark training
this is a free training app including many different types and styles of workouts. you can search for workouts based on duration, equipment used, the targeted muscle, and so on. you can also add workouts and plans of your own and track your progress.
i am sober
this is my favorite app for if you have something you want to quit. this isnโt just for substances or alcohol, but can also be used for quitting sugar, skin picking, caffeine, fast food, and so many other things. you can track your progress, review your days, make pledges, and connect with others who are struggling with the same thing you are. you are also given motivational quotes and reminders when you log into the app. there is an option for a subscription, but i use the free version and have had no problems with it at all.
study bunny: focus timer
an adorable focus timer where you gain coins with every goal/time you accomplish something with your focus timer and you can spend your coins on cute little accessories for your bunny! the only real issue with this app is that the ads are kind of crazy, and itโs $15 a month to go ad-free.
flora - green focus
this app includes a pomodoro timer and plants a tree in a rural community based on how often you stay focused using the timer on the app. the app does not plant a tree unless you opt for their subscription, which is $2 per year and allows you to plant one tree for 120 hours of focused time. you can also plant a tree every 24 hours with the $10 plan.
focus to-do: focus timer&tasks
this app combines a pomodoro timer with a daily to-do list. the app is free to use, but includes additional features for those with a subscription, which is $3 for every three months or $9 for a lifetime membership.
balance: meditation & sleep
a great app that includes nightly reviews, meditations, and sleep sounds. this app has great reviews, but itโs worth noting that itโs not completely free. it includes a trial, after which is $12 per month, or $70 per year.
insight timer - meditate & sleep
just as it sounds, this is another great app for meditations, ambient sounds for sleep, and progress tracking. there are tons of free things included in the app, but if you want to unlock everything, the premium plan is $10 per month or $60 per year.
structured - daily planner
an app with great reviews intended to help organize your daily tasks into achievable goals and track your progress. the app has basic features for free, but also includes a premium subscription if you want to unlock all the features.
routineflow: guided routines
this app caters to those who have difficulties staying focused and maintaining a set routine by guiding your routine for you and managing your progress. the app gives you one routine for free, but if you want another, you would need to pay for the $30 annual subscription.
how we feel
a wonderful free journaling app developed by therapists and scientists for logging your emotions, talking to other users, and tracking your mood patterns.
gentler streak fitness tracker
if youโre tired of the constant work and grind mentality, this may be the app for you. this app takes a gentler approach to fitness by tracking exercise, giving encouragement, and notifying you if you are overworking yourself. the app itself is free, but certain features require a subscription, which is $8 per month or $50 per year.
glo | yoga and meditation app
glo is a highly rated app for yoga, pilates, and meditation. unlike most of the other apps listed, you canโt really access much on glo for free. to access the full courses, they offer two plans: $30 per month or $245 per year.
waterllama
another adorable app that lets you track your water intake with a cute llama! super motivating and is free for basic features. if you want to unlock all features, the subscription is $7 per year.
mindllama
made by the same people as waterllama, this app allows you to practice and track your meditation and breathwork practice with a cute llama! like waterllama, the app is free, but some features require a subscription, which varies depending on whether you want the premium plan, the anxiety relief plan, or the sleep focused plan.
daily bean - simplest journal
another super cute app that helps you track your days and moods. the app itself is free, but a premium plan is also offered, which is $20 per year.
schmoody: mood & habit tracker
this app aims to help you through depression, anxiety, and/or adhd by helping you track your habits, talk to other users, and give you the resources to get you back on track. the free version includes the โessentialsโ to support mental health and well-being, but they also offer a premium version, which unlocks more resources and personalized options. the subscription is $15 per month, $60 per year, or $100 for a lifetime membership.
meditation timer - zenitizer
this is a meditation timer that focuses on simplicity and organization while tracking your meditation practice. a free version is available with a limited amount of content, but a premium version is also offered, which is $3 per month, $20 per year, or a $50 one-time payment.
mineral - gratitude journal
this is a free journaling app that is secure in the fact that you have to use face id in order to access your journal. this app is definitely more simple, but effective nonetheless.
focus keeper: productive timer
this app is a popular pomodoro-style timer app. iโve heard that this app works wonders for many people with adhd. the app is free, but includes additional content and features for those with a subscription.
inspired by boop day, reblog this post if its ok for people to send you random asks and interact on your posts with no judgement. i want to talk to people.

๐ Goals for May ๐
Well, I'm two days *late* but it's the beginning of a new month and I figured, why not set a couple of goals for this month? My spring semester ends next Friday, the 10th, so I want to have some things to focus on for this month before I travel to Colorado in June for work <3
๐ฉท May Goals ๐ฉท
have 1-3 more meeting with my italki teacher
study Spanish for some time every day
get daily movement (either 10k steps or 20+ minutes of a workout, low impact preferably [i love at home mat pilates])
read 10 pages of a book daily
keep up with my accountability buddies (if they still want to!)
maintain a consistent morning and night routine (journaling, skincare, etc)
prepare for my work trip (suitcase, plane ticket, buy my necessities, etc)
start modifying my current food intake (I don't like the word diet) due to a new health issue I discovered with my doctor
not too many goals, not too stressful. I'm going to habit track some of this as well to help keep me motivated, and hopefully continue working with my accountability buddies to keep me on track this summer! here's to another beautiful month of life ๐

Wipe down/out shower
Shake rug + Sweep the bathroom
Reorganize the beauty cart + bathroom cabinet
Dust bedroom furniture

Wash sheets + pillowcases (? depends on when the washer is available)
Disinfect electronic devices
Finish any important remaining tasks on my laptop
Here we go. Lets see what I can get done in the next few hours. (Am not aiming for the entire list, this is just to guide me on what I need to do and what I can possibly get done tonight)
ToDo *Dec 15, 2024
I have some stuff I've been putting off, so I figured I'd make a todo list and be productive today. Some of it is little mundane tasks, some of it are larger things I've been procrastinating.
