Day 26: 90 Day Challenge ๐
Yesterday (Monday) was my 21st birthday and I honestly actually did nothing. I ordered myself food, revieved flowers from my boyfriend, and stayed in bed all day. I didn't do any skincare, I was in sweatpants all day, and I actually cried for an hour in the morning because i typically don't like my birthday and tend to get emotional every year.
Not much to really talk about, so consider this my day 26 update.
I will update on today either tonight or tomorrow.

Day 28-29: 90 Day Challenge ๐
For yesterday (Wednesday) and today, I've done very close to absolutely nothing due to immense lack of sleep and trying to recover from all the exhaustion of being unable to sleep properly.
I knee this challenge wasn't going to be easy all the time, but after napping a bit today and working out my daily tasks and schedules for the next week, I'm feeling confident about tomorrow. I've decided to incorporate a lot more health and wellness activities into my daily routines, especially since I am unable to take my mental health medications due to insurance issues. I figure it is up to me to take charge of my health, sort of as it's own side challenge to keep myself healthy and stable and sane.
Insurance issues aside, I plan to budget for bi weekly therapy sessions, as even without medication, therapy has been life changing for me and luckily I can still see my therapist for a reduced price per session.
This challenege will be a bit more wellness, health and overall productivity based moving forward until the semester starts again which will lead it to be more school/intellectual focused.
I am definitely tasked with a heavy load of mental and physical self work, but these next 5 weeks of low stress and low priorities will give me the building tools I need.

So, I might be switching from my current bachelors degree at my university to pursuing an associate at the local community college for medical assisting. And I'm terrified.
I will be losing significant financial aid in the coming fall semester, which is definitely a driving factor in my decision to possibly switch over, as community college is much cheaper here. I'll be able to reapply to my university afterward to continue my bachelors degree in nutrition, so there's that too.
I guess I just nervous about making such a big switch. I've never been the best with phlebotomy stuff, which I'll need both clinical and in class experience with as I pursue the associate for medical assisting.
Any words of encouragement, or advice from people who've made a similar ish type of switch? I'm super nervous, nothing has been set in stone or done yet, but I'd love to hear from people who've done anything similar.
Thank you <3
To Do - March 27th ๐ฉท
A little list of things to get done today <3
chapter 8 health psychology notes
read 1 chapter of Attached
gratitude journal
shower + skincare
drop off depop packages at the post office
work 230pm to ~10pm
night time skincare
I should be able to get most of this done. I might put off taking notes until this weekend, just because my head hasn't necessarily been in the game recently. My anxiety has been pretty high the last few days, and it's taking a lot of energy to keep under control right now. But everything else is definitely a priority to get done today!

Daily Check-in - August 12th, 2023 ๐
My updates have been a little spread out, but I am happy to announce that I will be (hopefully) posting updates more regularly with my university classes starting for the fall semester and now that I'm also back at my original job! It definitely gave me a reason to stick to my routine so I have a good feeling about all of this!
With the new semester starting comes new goals, which I will be making a separate post about! It's going to somewhat detail my personal, academic, and social goals for the fall semester. So stay tuned for that!
I also began intermittent fasting recently as I have read that it helps with PCOS (which I do have, along with hypothyroidism). My goal is to become healthier physically and mentally, and I believe that doing this will only improve my quality of life! I currently am doing 16:8, and I love it because it works with my schedule and eating habits I usually already have!
๐ฉท What I Ate Today:
Brunch - One piece of brioche style white bread with two slices of cheddar cheese and a spoonful of scrambled eggs and a side of diced potatoes with ketchup.
Dinner - Taco Bell <3 A nacho bell grande and a crunchwrap Supreme with lots of Diablo sauce
Snacks - 2 cups of coffee with one sweet n low each and French vanilla creamer, and one mocha cold brew shake from the coffee shop on my university campus.
I decided to treat myself to Taco Bell tonight since I was craving it and had the money to do so. I actually ordered more than I ended up eating, so I gave the rest to my roommate.
๐ฉท Workout - Upper Body Pilates-ish
I loved this so much the first time I did it that I wanted to include it again! ait gives such a nice burn and feel after completing it and I honestly wish it was longer, it's that good!
I wanted to try this one because I think fixing posture is helpful, and honestly, those 90 shoulders are really aesthetic. I don't think this is going to give me *drastic* results until I lose some weight and lean out a bit, but I think helping to fix my posture is such a good idea to help with back pain and avoiding text neck! I liked this one, but there were a couple of stretches that were a bit hard to complete, given my current weight. But I'll keep doing this til I get it!
๐ฉท Habits I Accomplished Today -
Made my bed
Morning and Night Skincare
Morning Guided Journal
Daily Journal
Reas 1 Chapter of a book
Morning Workout
Stretching
Today was definitely a good day, especially since I completed most of those before going to work at 715am! I'm super proud of myself, and I hope to keep my progress going and continue bettering myself!
๐ฉท Song of the Day: Anti-Hero by Taylor Swift
This song is soo good. I've never been a Swiftie but I've started getting into a couple of her songs, I like how soft they sound.
๐ฉท Current Read - Attached by Amir Levine and Rachel S. F. Heller
This book has been in my shelf for a few months and since I've recently gone long distance with my boyfriend, I figured it would be a good idea to educate myself on attachment styles and ways to healthily navigate relationships. I'm two chapters in and I already love it!
That's all for the day! I'll update you guys again tomorrow! Thank you for all the love <3
Til tomorrow, my lovelies ๐ฉท
April 7th, 2025 ๐
My brain did not let me study or do much this weekend and it was seriously bugging me, but I'm trying not to beat myself up about it because it was that time of month and lately it has been messing with me hard whenever it's that time of month. Plus, work was really tiring this weekend and I've been a little stressed out about some things.
What I Accomplished (April 6th) ๐
completed and passed a quiz for one of my online classes
worked 9am to 3pm
took a 40 min nap on the couch
worked on my study guide for health psychology for ~10min
chatted with my roommates for a while
Not the most productive day yesterday, but it was not a bad day. I was super tired and anxious yesterday, but I had a decent day regardless.
Todo Today (April 7) โจ๏ธ
study for exercise physiology exam ๐
make study quizlet for health psych ๐ป
work on study guide for health psych โ๏ธ
work 230pm to ~930pm โ๏ธ
double check on classes before registering for next semester ๐ซฃ
skincare before work ๐ฟ
skincare after work ๐งด
make to do list for tomorrow ๐ก
Not an extensive list, but just stuff I need to get done. My health psych exam is Thursday and I believe my exercise physiology exam opens on Friday. I have a couple of small projects coming due next week, and some assignments that need completing later this week. It's lock in time now that the semester is almost over.

I needed to read this today. I recently added a 2nd major so Iโm now double majoring and double minoring and it seems I wonโt graduate until I am 25, which made me feelโฆoff, at first? But reading this was like, perfect timing. It doesnโt matter how long it takes. What matters is that we are pursuing our education and will end up with our goals met by graduation. Thank you for this ๐
You should never have shame about your academic journey. It's a journey. You're growing and learning. You're going to face challenges alone for one of the first times in your life. Shit's hard. It's ok to struggle.
I haven't had a pretty journey at all. I'm graduating with a bachelor's degree at 25. I've been in college nonstop since I was 18. I've failed a lot of classes and had to go part time. So many things have happened. But I will have the degree. And that degree is worth the exact same as someone who got it in 3 years. The knowledge I have is mine to keep.
How I got here doesn't matter. I'm here. I am going to graduate in a few months. I have won this chapter of my life. And to those who try to shame me for how I got here and how long it took, I pray that you never experience the things I have that have made it take long. May you live a life of comfort and luxury and have hands soft as silk until you die. And hopefully I will get the same grace from the universe eventually.
