Finally finished đ Timelapse at the bottom! I had an idea for my Wings of Pages series, where instead of text, it's a book full of botanical illustrations. The majority of the time was spent on the individual flowers for each feather/page of the wings. I really love the look of old botanical books with the water color paintings and the scientific names written in cursive. So I spent way too many hours painting out 20 of these flower pages, and even then, it wasn't enough for the wings so I did have to duplicate some.
Here are the 20 flowers! The HD image of Atlas Botanicus, and all 20 HD flower studies without watermark will be DMed on Patreon.com/Yuumei on May 5th, along with the hours long video recording of how I painted everything.
I agree, and absolutely could not let this addition go unnoticed.
Danny is a homeless kid in Gotham. He lives in Red Hoods' territory. His nickname is Numbers. A couple of kids learned he was good with numbers and quizzed him, and he got them all correct, hence Numbers. Danny loves living in Gotham, well as much as a 15-year-old homeless kid whose parents hate his existence can.
Danny is one of the kids who, when they find out info about people going against Red Hoods' rules, will report them to him. Tonight is one of those nights. Danny had learned someone sold drugs to a kid in the Alley. Danny made sure to retrieve the drugs from the kid, Stiches, and made sure the kids' friend, Patches, looked after him. cause even if Stitches wasn't able to take the drugs before Danny stepped in, the psychological damage of almost relapsing is tough, especially for a kid that couldn't be older than 12.
So Danny is on the lookout for Hood when he sees a group of people on top of a building, one of them being Batman. Danny knows that while not published Hood is connected to the Bat.
Danny scales the building and sees that its the Justice League and Batman.
Danny turns to the JL
Danny: do you have permission to be in Gotham?
Without giving them time to answer he turns to Batman
Danny: Did you give them permission? Or do you need help getting the Just Losers outta here?
Green Lantern (Hal): wha? huh, Kid?
Batman cracks a barely there smile, unnoticed by everyone, at the JL being called Just Losers.
Batman: they are allowed. Now kid what do you need?
Danny: I have info for Hood and I know you bats are all connected.
Batman gets Hood on coms.
Hood: *in Bruce's ear, but still heard by Danny* what do you want old man I'm busy.
Batman: hn a kid is here asking for you.
Danny: tell him it's Numbers
Hood: oh shit what's he got for me this time.
Danny: *tells Bats the situation* should I give the drugs to Batman?
JL in the background horrified to learn so much about Gothams' underground. (like this shit doesn't occur in their cities too)
Batman: yes I will make sure they get back to Hood so he can test and deal with them.
Danny: Cool cool
Danny does a drug deal with Batman.
Danny: so why are the Just Losers here?
Danny dislikes the JL, they never helped Amity. Dannys has gotten better with the bats thanks to Hood.
Danny: is it for the outsider setting up shop in the warehouse by the docks? With the sketchy af alien tech?
I also wonder how Danny would react too, like, would he be upset about the name being just passed on like that? Cause I feel like he would, and would a quite righteous fury.
dc x dp where Jason and Danny met in the Infinite Realms while Jay was dead, but he went by âRobinâ and thatâs the only name Danny knows him by. similarly, in the Realms Danny goes by Phantom and Jason doesnât know him any other name.
my logic here is that self determination is important to ghosts. most of them goes by a name that defines them as they are in the afterlife, which allows them to at least somewhat conserve a piece of the identity they had while alive but also move on and grieve their own death in some sort of way. Jason died as Robin and itâs a really important piece of his identity that he brought with him into death, and Danny named himself postmortem. ghosts donât fuck with names, so every one called them that.
it of course leads to shenanigans, such as Danny running into Jason post-resurrection, while in the living realm because of course, recognizes whatâs left of his mangled core after the combined effects of his resurrection and his dip in the Lazarus pit, and calls his name. his ghost name.
Jason was hanging out with his brother at the time (he got coerced into participating in a brotherly bonding activity) and having the name âRobinâ called out at them but them all on edge, but quickly relaxed when he too recognizes Danny. now he has to explain to his brothers who that guy is, how he knows about him being Robin once upon a time, and why they should trust him.
Dannyâs just happy he found the friend he thought had been Ended years ago
I absolutely need this. I need to see one of the heroes (probably Batman, let's be honest) put two and two together, realizing that A) these kids only ever interrupt one of Flashâs fights to stop him from time traveling, and B) they supposedly donât exist and.. Oh, oh no, Flash erased them from this timeline but they still exist. No wonder theyâre pissed-
Especially if the kids is uno reverse Bruce Wayne bait.
These two kids literally stopped him from running back through the time 13th times in a roll by doing something distracting that completely took his attention alongside this them saving the day before Flash went back to fix it.
Scary accurate, too, after the last time he was tackled and manhandled by a giant glowing green dog when the kids play hot potato and threw a purple dog toy at him saying fetch cujo.
This little brats has some type of vendetta over him that they keeps stopping him from time running.
The 'We will break your kneecaps' on the watchtower in glowing green marker is new to him.. in the middle of a meeting with the Justice league.
You know, for the fastest man in the world, he didn't expect to get stalked and unabled to catch the stalkers even at last speed 13 times in a roll.
Especially with a group of heroes and Batman staring down at Flash for him to explain what had happened.
That two little kids were stalking the fastest man in the world to stop him from running sounds ridiculous, but it was true that even his team investigating can't seem to find anything or nothing on the database about this two children.
As if they didn't exist in the first place...

All danny wanted to do was go home after a lesson about being the Infinite Prince and its duty from Clockwork, but yet he couldn't seem to find the home portal, not even Vladâs was opened which was very odd.
He did catch Ellie zooming around the ghost realm, who was panicking as well about the missing portals, but thankfully, Johnny and Kitty helped them find a natural portal to their home dimension.. Danny is going to have a stern talking with them about that later, but right now, he wanted to go home now.
Only.. there was no home to go to because Amity Park had disappeared.
If it weren't for Clockwork's sticky notes all over a stump trunk that used to be Amity Park's welcome sign that saved Danny from having a total meltdown and psychic break in his core with how small he and ellie became slipping out of the natural portal.
Apparently, some Jackass Time Speeder changed the timeline too many times in which Amity Park, the world greatest ghost town, ceased to existence.
Thankfully, Clockwork left them a little gift that were time watches to help located the dirty bastard that basically ruined Danny's timeline in exchange of punishment for all the timelines clockwork had to fix due to this man.
Danny and Ellie would gladly accept beating up this wannabe timeline ruining bastard, and they'll be creative at it, too.
I agree, we need a fic of this, anyone, pls-
They cut him up, use his blood for the sigil, and have him bound in the middle of it.
But instead of the Ghost King, Wally gets a freaking out teenager who is trying his best.
Danny, meanwhile, was in the middle of taking an English test when he was ripped from the classroom and into some weird secret base. Good news, there's no way Lancer can get mad at him for this. Bad news, he's in human form and there's a hero bleeding out.
I mean, itâs not entirely wrong though? Since Clark is the one who actually has that weakness and Danny only played Superman while he was gone. đ
Danny is in metropolis for school and Superman is off planet or in another dimension with the justice league
Danny is sleep deprived and studying for exams so when some super villain asshole interrupts his daily routine he puts them down swiftly only to flee the scene thinking heâll be found out.
Instead, as he gets to his dorm ready to flee the city one of his dorm mates stops him to show him a funny post about superman stopping a giant robot on laundry day.
What he sees is a blurry, indistinct photo of him destroying the robot.
Danny decided he can work with this.
He was tired of villains fucking around with his day just because superman was out of town for a bit and gets one of the ghosts to help him make a perfect replica of the suit.
Heâs bulked up over the years and learned to control his transformation so now all he has to do is transform everything but his hair and eyes and just refuse interviews for a bit
Easy peasy!âŚ.until he meets his, weâll Supermanâs, clone.
Superboy confronts the counterfeit kryptonian about him slacking on his duties only to immediately realize this isnât Superman.
This dudes chill though so Conner decides to just go with it
He doesnât mind being Dannyâs second clone
Lex is confounded by Supermanâs sudden immunity to kryptonite
When Superman gets back no one says shit. Why would they? Itâs been a completely normal month in metropolis. Though with less property damage.
Conner already explained things to Lois so she doesnât say anything. She wants to see how long they can keep it up.
2 years pass before clark finds out.
The rest of the league figured it out at various points during the first year
Clark will never live this down

Commissioner Jim Gordon meets an odd kid in the precinct.
--
âCome on, you really donât have a way to directly contact Batman?â
Jim smiled. Kids came to the station and asked that all the time. Usually, it was just curiosity and showing them the signal was enough to get them to sign up for the Junior Police program. This one looked a little older than most, teenagers were often âtoo oldâ to believe in Batman, but again, give them a little faith now and theyâll never loose it.
âLookinâ for the Bat, kid?â Jim asked, knowing he was about to make this kidâs â
Jim froze. The kid turned to face him and it was Bruce Wayne. Not playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne, but freshly a teenager Bruce Wayne. The Bruce Wayne who Jim had checked in on time and again from age eight until he ran off on a globetrotting trip to find himself. The little Bruce Wayne with too pale skin and dark bags under his eyes, and not enough love to make up for all the grief weighing him down. And he didnât look like Damian either, where Bruce was obviously his father but there were distinct traits from his mother. This was a carbon copy of a boy Jim remembered vividly.
âI am.â He even sounded like teenage Bruce. All business, like he was on a mission.
âI might be able to help you, but itâll take a while.â Jim said and the officer the kid had been talking too gave him an odd look. He waved her off and told the kid to follow him to the commissionerâs office. Normally, heâd be more dramatic, put on more of a show for the kid, but his gut told him this was different, this was important. He offered the kid a styrofoam cup of water then closed the door behind him. âSo, what do you need to talk to Batman for?â
âItâs personal. I need to talk to him in person.â
Jim took a sip of coffee from his cup. âHe doesnât appreciate me calling for no reason in the middle of the day.â
âSo you do have a direct line?â The kid nearly jumped out of his seat. âIf heâs upset, itâll be my fault, just call him, please.â
âWho should I say wants to talk to him?â
The kid hesitated. âHe doesnât know me, but I have to talk to him.â
Jim frowned. âWhatâs your name, kid?â
He swallowed and looked like he wasnât going to answer for a moment. âDanny.â
âDannyâŚ?â Jim wanted a last name but Danny kept quiet. Jim sighed, âHeâs likely not going to show up until sundown.â
âI can wait, as long as you guarantee heâll show.â
âAnd youâre not going to tell me why you need Batman?â Jim just got a glare in response. âWhat about one of the other heroes?â
âOnly Batman, no one else can help.â
âYou sure about that? Not even Superman?â
âNot unless Superman can get me in the same room as Batman.â
âWhyâs it so important that you meet him in person?â
âItâs personal.â
Jim liked this less and less by the minute. âDo your parents know youâre here?â
Danny looked away but right when it looked like he wouldnât say anything he mumbled. âThey wouldnât care anyway.â
After another moment to give the kid time to reconsider, Jim pulled out the Bat-phone. It was a normal Wayne-Tech cell phone, but Jim had been given very specific instructions on how and when to use it. The phone listed all the Gotham Vigilantes without visible numbers so they couldnât be copied and handed out. He pressed the one for Batman.
âStand outside, would you?â The kid gave him a look, but followed the request. Jim could see his shadow in the doorâs window, not so subtle eavesdropping.
It rang a few times, and Jim sat there awkwardly with a teenager listening to his every move. Finally, a familiar voice picked up the other end of the line. âCommissioner Gordon.â
âSorry to call you out of the blue Batman, but Iâve got a kid here who needs your help.â
âWho?â
âSays his name is Danny, that youâve never met him but youâre the only one who can help him.â
âWhy?â
âRefuses to tell me.â
âWhatâs your best guess, Commissioner?â
Jim looked at Dannyâs shadow, it looked like he was straining his ears to try and hear what he was saying. Danny had given him almost nothing to work with. Just his name, that heâs never met Batman but needs to talk with him in person. But Jim was here because he listened to his gut. A feeling like when you see a random rock on your neighborâs doorstep but youâd never go in without an invitation. A feeling like you know whatâs in the present and are preparing your surprised face. A feeling like when you cheated on your wife and you know she knows.
âHe looks like Bruce Wayne.â
A beat of silence. âWhat?â
âDanny looks exactly like Bruce when he was a teenager. Exactly the same.â Jim hoped Batman would get it, feel in his gut what Jim felt.
âAnd he wont say why heâs there?â
âNo, and he demands to see you in person.â
âIâll be there in an hour.â
â10-4.â The line cut off before Jim had finished saying it. He called Danny in again. âHeâs on his way.â
Danny glared at him. âIf heâs not, if you called some social worker or something, youâll regret it.â
âIâm sure.â Jim sighed and downed the rest of his now cold coffee.
The sun hadnât set, but only just barely. Jim ended up taking Danny up to the roof in the end after all, if only to save his window from being broken into. The kid had a red hoodie on, but he was still shivering in the autumn chill and it was just going to get colder by the minute as the sun made its way behind the horizon.
Jim checked his watch and, at exactly an hour from when he called, he acted surprised when Batman and Robin appeared out of nowhere. âBats.â
âCommissioner.â Batman greeted but his eyes went straight for Danny. âDanny, I assume.â
âYeah, IâŚâ Danny hesitated, looking at Jim and Robin.
All it took was four words from Batman. âWhat do you need?â
The kid held out his hand with a flash drive in it. âIâm your clone. My par- The people who made me wanted to make a stronger version of you, but they got ahead of themselves. My DNA is degrading and Iâll die if I donât get your DNA to stabilize me.â
Holy cow.
âYou donât expect us to believe that, do you?â Robin sneered at him.
âThe flash drive has all the info on it. All the data about the cloning process and the, uh, relevant experiments after that.â Batman gave the kid a look. âI didnât want to waste time on unnecessary data.â
âIf what youâre saying is true, why are you here, alone? Are they working on a different solution?â
Dannyâs shoulders hiked up. âIâve been a failure for a while now, Iâm not worth the resources and theyâd learn more from an autopsy.â
Oof, kid. Jim looked at Batman who seemed to feel the same⌠if Jim was reading him right.
âSo, you wont object to a DNA test?â Robin asked with a cocky head tilt, at least he was relatively easy to read.
âYou can try.â Danny said, and then realized what that sounded like. âI mean I wont stop you, but my DNA degrades faster outside my body. Youâll have to take me to whatever lab you plan on using.â
âThen we will.â Batman said and jerked his head towards where theyâd probably parked that ridiculous car of his. But then he looked at Jim with a nod. âCommissioner.â
âBatman.â Jim returned the nod. âYouâll tell me how things turn out, yeah?â
âIâll give you a report.â Batman joked â Jim could tell, it was gut feeling.
Go check out the reblogs, so many fun additions here đ
So! Way back when Danny first moved into his new neighborhood in Gotham, he had some trouble controlling his Powers. The different Types and Levels of Ectoplasm in the air when compared to Amity had thrown off his control.
He was used to being in places where his Ectoplasm meshed well with the Atmosphere, like a Water Balloon in a Pool, but in Gotham that analogy would be closer to a Water Balloon in the sewers. It was too different from what he was used to to fully control his Powers.
So it's understandable that he messed up a few times and his neighbors found out about his Abilities.
They took it well at first, Danny wasn't going to go Rogues or anything, and he never used them maliciously, but eventually they got curious.
They asked what his limits were, how he got them in the first place, and what the hell the Ghost Zone was. The answers "None Really", "I died and was reborn", and "A Collective of every Afterlife at once" did spark some interesting reactions from them.
Most importantly, a few of them joked about him being an Eldritch God that they needed to worship. He was good enough friends with them that at that point they felt comfortable pranking eachother, so they did just that.
Danny woke up one day on his birthday, and saw all of his friends and neighbors surrounding the makeshift Throne they had made and put him on while he was asleep. The entire day they chanted stuff like "The Great One requires Ms. Smiths Apple Pie for his day of birth!" And "The Great One Wishes for us to sing the Ritual Song! Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birth-"
After his birthday, they kept up the joke.
It didn't help that his powers had evolved Again! And now he could bestow abilities onto his friends. The jokes they made about their God granting them Supernatural Powers to rule the world with were insufferable.
Then, one day while he was just resting at home, watching a movie on his TV, he felt a Pull at his Core. The same kind of Pull whenever he was being summoned. But why would they summon hi- Oh Shit! It's Mr Jenkins Party today! He was supposed to meet them at the Warehouse they used for special events an Hour Ago!
He quickly accepted the Summoning, but was met with a suprising sight. His Neighbors all tied up in a pile to his right, a spilled table of party food to his left, and right in front of him, Batman and his Family watching him with wary eyes.
Slowly, he opened his mouth. "...so, did you come for the party or..."
why does it remind me of a spider-
SO THIS GIF FROZE ANDÂ
Excuse me Ras, I have a question. How do you expect to gain an hair from Tim if youâre having two boys marry? I mean, unless weâre going with trans-Danny here, but like, I donât know, it always feels weird to me when people expect trans men to just like, be perfectly ok and comfortable with carrying a child like that??? Cause like, I donât know, but I feel like that would be very degrading or like, dysphoric. I imagine this wouldnât apply to everyone, of course, but I feel like it would be very rude to just, assume-
It started with a mission.
Tim hadnât expected to be sent after a new ghost anomaly, much less one that was human-shaped and strangely familiar. But when he found himself face-to-face with Dannyâa teenager who radiated Lazarus energy like it was his second skinâthings got weird. Fast.
Cue the League of Assassins bursting onto the scene, followed by a dramatic entrance from none other than Raâs al Ghul himself.
And thatâs when Tim learned the big, world-shattering truth: Danny was Raâs al Ghulâs son. Not adopted. Biological.
âYouâve got to be kidding me.â
Tim stood, slack-jawed, watching Raâs beam with the kind of pride usually reserved for conquering cities. Danny, standing awkwardly next to him, scratched the back of his neck.
âYeah, so, uh⌠surprise?â Danny offered.
Raâs spread his arms wide. âTimothy! This is a joyous day. My son, Daniel, has found you at last.â
Tim blinked. âFound me?â
Danny shuffled nervously. âUh, yeah. Youâre kind of⌠important to the family now.â
Timâs brain short-circuited.
âââ
Because hereâs the kicker: Raâs had been trying to get Tim to join the League for years. He saw Tim as a potential heir. But now, with Danny in the picture, Raâs had an even better idea.
âThrough Daniel,â Raâs explained, practically glowing, âI can finally bring you into the family as I always intended.â
Tim pinched the bridge of his nose. âI am not marrying into the League of Assassins.â
Danny choked. âWait, what?!â
Raâs nodded sagely. âI see you are both shy about it. No matter! Destiny has a way of unfolding as it should.â
Tim and Danny exchanged horrified glances.
âââ
Despite the chaos, Danny and Tim clicked. Danny was chaotic but genuine, a refreshing contrast to the constant stress of Gotham. And Tim? Tim was the most grounded person Danny had ever met.
âYou know, you donât have to listen to Raâs,â Tim pointed out after one particularly tense League encounter.
Danny shrugged. âYeah, but if I donât humor him, he gets pouty.â
Tim snorted. âRaâs al Ghul? Pouty?â
âYou have no idea.â
âââ
When Tim brought Danny back to Gotham, the batfam had questions.
Bruce: âHeâs⌠Raâsâ son?â
Tim: âYep.â
Jason: âAnd youâre⌠what, his fiancĂŠ now?â
Tim: screaming internally
Danny: âIâM RIGHT HERE.â
Damian, eyes wide: âUncle?â
Danny grinned. âHey, kiddo.â
Damian, flustered: âIâno. This cannot be.â
âââ
Back in Nanda Parbat, Raâs couldnât be happier. Every time Tim showed up, Raâs looked like Christmas came early.
Raâs: âTimothy, you and Daniel are a perfect match.â
Tim: âIn what universe?â
Danny: âTechnically, several.â
âââ
That was the problem.
Tim might hate making Raâs happy, but⌠Danny was different.
Danny liked being part of the League. He liked the structure, the weird family dynamic. He liked the purpose. And he was thriving.
Tim couldnât ruin that.
Tim didnât want to make Raâs happyâheâd rather swallow glassâbut he did want to make Danny happy.
And if that meant putting up with Raâs al Ghulâs matchmaking schemes, wellâŚ
Tim gritted his teeth and endured.
âââ
âBeing with Danny isnât the issue. The issue is that it makes Raâs happy. And I refuse to let that man win.â
Danny: smirking âYouâre fighting a losing battle.â
Tim: âShut up.â
Danny: âLove you too.â
