book bfdi
I can't stop thinking about ehr I would go to sleep but I just need to find some sort of outlet fir this intensity involving book so im making a crazy Tumblr rant that literally nobody's gonna read the ramblings of its 1:35 am, which isn't late, but if you consider the fact I usually sleep around 8,9, and sometimes 7, + having to wake up at 4am to eat and 7 am to go to school ,it kind of is. bu ti cast sleep cause my minds too active thinking of book and ways I can create and consume media about her but everything sucks because of course im only interested in the underdog characters that literally nobody acttually gives a shit about, but I guess better for me because I know what to make rants about booookkkkkkk she's os silly and real she has abandonment issues and is just a stupid silly nerd trying to be nice and find her place in a friendgroup people think she's just a typical nerd character, despite her only notable phrase being ' I am actually a book on _' people say she has no substance but then go absolutely feral over fries, like I get the appeal but it makes me sad because your okay with that and not book hookbobookbobookokokobkokokokokokokookokkit would be cool if she had like a price tag as a bookmark like that's so epic she keeps her angel wings and has like a star or something from that one book variation hrhhruhruhrhurhrhrrhr book is o cool she has so many designs and even her own game I need tennis ball and book interactions, or even friendship because why does it feel like the writers are avoiding it. I only realized when in bfdia 18 tennis ball called him and needle the 'only nice/non-saboteurs' despite book being kinder than both them combined. I dont think I've seen tb and book Interact recently. they're both like silly and decently kind and nerdy smart green objects who are known to take a side role in friendships. I really dont get it, but maybe they have something in store because that's how I felt about needle and book before they actually started interacting this episode. im gonna motivate myself to sleep by dreaming about book no w so goodbye if managed to skim read all the way over here
I finished the essay that the class had been working on for a month in one day (the day before it’s due.) because I couldn’t bring myself to work on it earlier.
Who said procrastination didn’t work
Yes, I get the desire to beat the US's rising claim to fascism and republican values, but that doesn't mean we need to base our entire image off of them. Our display of leftism and being 'progressive' is so insanely performative it makes me sick. How many times have you seen our government "apologizing", and "acknowledging" instead of actually doing shit to help the people Canada has literally killed. Yet, here we sit, content with "sticking it to american's" while thousands of indigenous women die, tortured, raped, are sex trafficked, etc. Please for the love of god, TALK about these things with your community - teachers, friends, students, neighbours, family, even online like I'm doing right now. - just start with spreading the news, which can lead to organizing, protesting, riots, getting our government to actually DO SOMETHING. If we want to fix our problems we have to first acknowledge them.
man.... i've posted a lot, huh?
tpot 16 spoilers kinda
SCREENSHOT REDRAWS
i love when ppl give book a bookmark so i drew her with one
If you're a single issue feminist and you want to raise your son to respect women but you also use authoritarian parenting, you're pretty much guaranteeing that your son will be sexist. You're pretty much guaranteeing that your son will think being sexist is siding with the resistance, which is a common piece of propaganda that sexists use.
If you deny any struggles that he has and you expect him to care about women's struggles, you're pretty much guaranteeing that he will see feminism as women getting special treatment.
If you demand that he respect women and also demand that he respect authority, and if you call it "disrespect" when he yells at you in direct response to you yelling at him first, then you're pretty much guaranteeing that he won't take complaints of "disrespect" seriously.
If you rule with an iron fist and make him afraid of you, you're pretty much guaranteeing that he won't respect anyone who can't make him afraid of them, and the vast majority of women who he disrespects are not going to be able to make him afraid.
If you want him to question society's harmful attitudes against women, you also have to raise him to question society's harmful attitudes that benefit you. This includes society's harmful attitudes against children.
I loved Greta from the start no matter what those old privileged white men have to say about her
SUPER cool theory!! I agree with everything you said and even had the same ideas, just wanted to say though that star buns are totally possible with black curly hair! its so cool!! There's actually. this amazing black hair sculpting girl that has a popular video on doing that EXACT hair style Aika has, which I can't believe im only realizing now. I think they got inspiration from her!
There's a lot to enjoy from @kianamaiart's animatic pilot, Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl. It subverts expectations while providing fun characters and a fun concept. Our story introduces us to an "ordinary" girl named, Aika spending her first day at high school. She makes a new friend with a lonely girl named, Zira and gets a perfect score on her first in-class assignment. It's not until she's met by her "magical best friend", Hoshi that she's reminded of a very important duty. A duty in which Aika wants no part in. It wouldn't be until lunch time that things REALLY start to go off the rails. A powerful young man announces himself as, Eclipse (or Moon Man, as Aika puts it) while smashing through the school walls demanding for The Star Guardian to reveal herself. Zira tries to protect her new friend, but Aika rushes in to save the day reluctantly revealing that she is in fact The Star Guardian and a magical girl. We've already established that Aika isn't normal, but is there something else about her?
She recently moved into a new town wanting a normal life. Hell, the school that she goes to is literally called, School McSchool Memorial School. If that isn't the most blandest name for a school, I don't know what is. She's also really eager to do normal things such as getting ready for class, eating lunch, meeting losers, and doing tests. Speaking of which, she certainly does have a somewhat high intelligence since she was the only one in class to get a perfect score. When Hoshi comes to confront her about trapping the little star in a box, Aika is very adamant on maintaining this normal life saying that she "needs this" and "whatever needs to be done can be handled by the others back home". Others? Who are these others?
I feel as if Aika may be something more than what we're led on to believe. I think she may not have come from Earth. Or maybe she's always been magical, but never went to a school because of this. Think about it! She learns Zira is a "loser" and she immediately says, "Wow! A real life high school loser!" which is odd because you'd think she'd already know what a loser is at her age. She doesn't eat normally by how she scarfed down her food during lunch, her high test scores, how she randomly tells the teacher she loves her, she has never experienced a fire drill, she introduces herself to Zira by saying "I'm a normal girl with average talent & absolutely no secrets", and her hairstyle. If you've noticed, Aika's hairstyle is different from every other character (at this moment). Her hair also compliments her companion, Hoshi. What if she comes from a place where everything and everyone has this star motif going on? What if she was an alien civilian who was told by Hoshi that she was magical and right after she trapped Hoshi in a box, she booked it to planet Earth in the most normal-looking place to rebelliously live the life she always wanted to live. I could be wrong of course, but that's just a theory. But now that evil is growing, Aika will have to save the world (and likely the universe) whether she likes it or not with new friends along the way!
Pretty pretty please join us in enjoying this collection of sublime fanart for @kianamaiart's Pretty Pretty Please I don't Want to be a Magical Girl. If you haven't yet seen the pilot animatic, you can watch it here if you like—it's really very good. Thank you to Kiana and all of your fans for these delightful visual treats! We can't wait to follow along for more Aika, Zira, Hoshi, and co. <3
