Thanks for the analysis. I was in no way shape or form trying to compare them. I was just pointing out that while the girls are great characters, they are not to be idolized. As a correction, I was wrong about Dolores. She is fine, and idk if anyone in the fandom actually idolizes her.

Controversial Post

Good morning, afternoon, or evening to those reading this.

This will be a controversial post, so please grab your pitchforks and hold on to your keyboards.

Many people like to point out fictional characters that many viewers idolize, despite the creators pointing out that said characters are not good role models. The most mentioned characters are Don Draper from Mad Men, Walter White from Breaking Bad, and The Joker from Joker.

However, movies and TV shows about middle-aged men are not the only sources of media that feature characters who are poor role models but receive a lot of worship from fandoms.(please excuse my use of passive voice). Many Disney films and TV shows, which are typically about high school and college-aged girls, feature main or supporting characters who are poor role models but are idolized by their fandoms. These are broad statements, so I will not name names. I am solely generalizing.

This was inspired by @dani-luminae 's post comparing Mal Bertha and Elsa of Arendelle. I recently re-blogged the post.

The majority of the featured characters are from films, but a few are from TV shows and TV movies. If you would like to add any more, please do so by replying or re-blogging.

At the top of my head, I have listed Mal and Audrey from the Descendants franchise.

Next, jumping to the Encanto fandom is Isabela Madrigal and maybe(emphasizing maybe) Dolores Madrigal.

So much collateral damage. Thankfully this scene takes place in a small town(nothing against small towns. I am from a small town myself), and if it took place in an urban area, the scene would look like the aftermath of an Avengers movie.

Lastly, since this post is getting too long, is another magical big sister, Elsa of Arendelle from Frozen(Same w/ the girlies from Encanto above: being a bad sister, plus, and mainly, collateral damage).

Yes, all of the ladies I mentioned above are b*d*ss*s, and do display some positive personality traits and engage in prosocial behaviors. However, despite that, they are not good role models in universe, as IRL, they would be felons, and their family members and friends may limit contact with them.

There is nothing wrong with sympathizing with any of the characters above. There is nothing wrong with relating to the characters above. There is nothing wrong with liking the characters above. However, you can sympathize with, relate to, or even like the characters above while simultaneously recognizing them as poor role models in universe and IRL.

Hirobel 90 Day Fiance Part 2

About an hour ago, I posted a short summary about how Mirabel and Hiro would make a perfect 90 Day Fiance couple. As such, I wrote a timeline for their time on TLC.

Here it is:

In December of 2016, Mirabel and Hiro, both 21 years old, meet in downtown San Francisco, while Mirabel is on a college field trip.

Mirabel and Hiro, 22 years old, star in season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days, filmed in 2017 and aired in 2018.

Mirabel and Hiro, 23 years old, star in season 1 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, filmed in 2018, and aired in 2019.

Mirabel and Hiro, both 23 going on 24 years old, marry on January 26, 2019.

Mirabel and Hiro, 24 years old, star in season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, filmed in 2019 and aired in 2020.

Mirabel and Hiro, 25 years old, welcome their triplets on November 27, 2020.

Mirabel and Hiro, 25 years old, star in season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, filmed in 2020 and aired in 2021.

Mirabel and Hiro, 26 years old, star in season 3 of 90 Day Diaries, filmed in 2021 and aired in 2022.

Mirabel and Hiro, 27 years old, star on 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort, filmed in January of 2023, aired from August to October of 2023.

Mirabel and Hiro, 28 years old, star on season 8 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?. The show was filmed in 2023 and aired in 2024.

Angelo Madrigal of The Encanto, son of Isabela Madrigal

MY BRAIN IS GOING BONKERS WITH ENCANTO HC AND WHATNOT LIKE

Dolores loves music, she likes to write melodies, it makes her feel in control of the sounds around her

IF YOU DRINK POISON MADE BY JULIETA WPULD YOU DIE WOULD IT CANCEL OUT WOULD IT BE JUST OMINOUS LOOKING WATER

Mariano writes poems,,,,,Dolores composes melodies,,,,, they start a band,,,,,

If Camilo ever gets their own song, he'd be holding a skull for maximum drama, plus he'd shapeshift if just for a second into the comedy/tragedy faces of theater, to be bastard

Isabela decides to travel around the world, whenever she comes back she brings gifts like books for Luisa and really nice yarn/threads for Mirabel

Maybe she happened to stumble upon a quendom/magical forest where an ethereal queen of the elements noticed her and become really good friends/gf

"YOU ALSO HAD TO LIVE UNDER HORRIBLE EXPECTATIONS AND BE PERFECT FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR FAMILY AND ARE ALSO A LESBIAN????" (proceed to make out)

Dolores: are you sure about this gringa with mad ice powers??

Elsa visiting her flower gf be like

Antonio, to Kristoff after seeing him talking to Sven: oh you also understand animals!!

Kristoff: Yeah!

Sven: (Reindeer sounds)

Antonio: dude that's not remotely close to what she said

Kristoff: she???

Antonio: Yeah, Sven is a girl, and apparently she hates it when u give her carrots by half, stop doing that

Mirabel makes gifts for Anna and Elsa to make them feel welcome, like a crochet-snowflake etc etc it's sweet

Isabela would be the maid of honor at Dolores' wedding

A Tangled Ever After short type of thing but for Dolores' and Mariano's wedding. Hijinks ensue

Okay but like, can I just say: at least in Ever After High, the future heroes and future villains attending the same school made sense, because they were being prepared to follow their destinies, so everyone was aware they going to throw hands one day and once its done, move on.  But with the idea of ‘Merlin Academy’ in Descendants….its just fucking weird. It’s one thing if it was somehow the heroes school, but the fucking villains school too??? And they all the same age range somehow??? And somehow when they get older, shit in their stories is going to happen somehow???? Like, what??? That makes zero sense???  And also kinda the definition of ‘BITCH’ when that one classmate brings you all back from the dead and another just fucking banishes you to a prison island, but that just me. 

So if Antonio annoys anyone, they can respond w/ "ok boomer"?

So true. And a lot of them use translating devices, which do not directly translate what they are saying, and therefore they do not properly communicate to their partners.

love/hate watching 90 day fiance "the other way" because you get to see americans fully living in foreign countries for 1+ year or dating their partner for up to 5 and they still cannot manage the most bare bones conversation in their partner's native language and are sitting there like sentient rocks during important family conversations going "what did he say? what did she say?" like you don't think this maybe has something to do with why your relationship is crumbling. lol. lmao.
