I just really wanna say, whenever Bill gets rejected 2 thoughts go through my head.

The first is “aww he’s such a wet cat, look at him all grumpy and sad and wet.”

The other, more empathetic part of me gets all sad and goes: “His heart must shatter into a million pieces every time, and he probably has no idea how to navigate it in a healthy way cause he’s never had to understand human emotion to such depth of being nearly physical. He’s learning, and doing better, but that’s hard when he’s surrounded by people who so openly hate him. It must be why he connects with Mable so easily, she doesn’t treat him poorly for apparently no reason, she makes him feel good about himself. He wouldn’t ever want to lose that, would he? Especially after losing all his friends.”

Anyways, reading “A Human Condition” is always an emotional rollercoaster, and I live for it. I cry a little sometimes. I hope your bed is always comfy cozy and your pillow is always your preferred temperature. I’m gonna go make some doodles now.

40 hours later and I finished making A Human Condition fanart again 😭 Honestly, the scene is a mix between when Bill finds himself in the secret space Ford had locked away in his mind and another chapter where he finds what Ford wrote about him !!! I even included some pieces of the text 🥹 I was not playing about the exagerated long hair, although the long hair here is what I visualize when he’s in the dreamscape and not what is actually described in the fic (you could say the whole design is actually 💀)

The whole thing is inspired by of course a scene from arcane that is once again Jinx 🙏 genuinely, I feel like Jinx and Bill are alike (they are my two favorite characters ever…) Also I wanted it to feel like a opening to a webtoon too 🥹 like O:TL

If this post gets FIVE likes, I’ll draw him with a reasonable long amount of hair in the iconic ‘I’m a little Different shirt’ I just love that fanfic sm tho, so I’ll prolly just do it anyways 💀 GO READ A HUMAN CONDITION GUYS PLEASE WE’RE ALMOST OUT OF HIATUS YEAHHH

Not to be a critic or anything, buuut I found some typos in AHC. If someone were to, sayyy, write up a document pointing them out as a poorly disguised excuse to reread the whole thing from the beginning, would you be okay with that? Would you *want* the hypothetical document????? If it were to exist?

Umm??? Absolutely, I’d love that!! 🥰 I always try to correct as many typos as I can while editing but, tbh sometimes ya girl is half asleep OR I add in scenes or tweak lines that create mistakes I don’t catch.

I was going to go back once it was finished to comb through and fix as many as I could, but if you’re volunteering I’ll gladly accept your services!

(Do kids still say ‘greetings’? I haven’t been in this dimension in a REALLY long time 😉)

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re here from my fanfic on ao3, A Human Condition.

Just wanted to offer you all a quick update on how the story is progressing:

1. At this point, I have the whole thing plotted out from start to finish with a little flexibility in the middle for some fun hijinks. This means the story WILL BE FINISHED at some point.

2. This fic is probably going to be pretty long simply because we’re reaching the end of the first small arc right now and I have about four more planned so probably around 300,000 words though that could go up or down depending on how everything shakes out.

3. I try to update this fic every week, sometimes there may be early updates, which I’ll post on here, or perhaps a few late updates if the writer’s block is writer’s blocking. Either way, I’ll make sure to let you guys know.

4. For now, I’m updating on Sundays. If that changes in the future, I’ll make a post about it.
