Love how Jazz is drawn here. It blends a lot different elements of his character very well. Like a love the all roundness in his design it brings how friendly and bubbly he is.

There is more black and red in this design. Then is typical for a Jazz design but it does highlight the darker parts of his character. It also works great for the Jazz in the fic (Mistakes on Mistakes Until, by Jabbrish) that that is fanart was drawn for.

All this was just say I love this plus it introduced me to a good fic.

Self promotion is the key...

I have started on the art, ages ago in fact, and then started writing the story.

The story has been finished now, and I just give up on the art.

Well, drawing a scene is actually completely different from what I was doing previously… you need to think about facial expressions, poses, background - and all that present an interesting challenge. I either level up or die trying 🤣

Oh, Leo, you sweet summer child you. The poor thing had now idea of the horrors that awaited him and his brother. And neither did I, when I first started this.

I originally had the idea for this illustration back when chapter 4 first came out. I was inspired by the outfits described and really wanted to draw them. But I was still new to drawing the turtles then, and it just wasn't turning out how I wanted, so I abandoned it for a while.

And then as I was coming up with my own designs for the turtles, I decided to return to this.

If you liked the emotional torment of LFLS, then you'll like this fic. It's incredibly well written and has caused me much pain and suffering. 10/10, would read again.

hey! I'm a one piece fanfiction lover (it'll be pretty obvious as my fanarts and au's are posted) and I'm even a writer! I recently read the fanfic "treasures for a treasure" by TheWritingDJ on AO3 and was enchanted by one of its characters, Mariana. Recently Oda revealed that Mother Nature is a real entity in One Piece and that gave me even more inspiration! This fanart is a representation of Mother Nature as I imagine it, but it was strongly inspired by Mariana from TheWritingDJ! Hope you like it!
