Please help me settle a debate
hello dearest band nerds that follow me. I have announcements to make.
firstly I have changed my name.
shanadoestrumpet -> shanaistired
both of these are still true. but i have gained a personality outside of being a band kid so here are the rest of my announcements.
you most likely follow me because i am a marching band blog. unfortunately i also made the mistake of making this my main so if I want to do anything ever people will see that I am a nerd. This doesn't bother me but i am enlightened and wish for more.
anyways! I have other personality traits now! I am a comedian and im funny and i dance and do theater and im a woman in stem.
I still do marching band!! But other things too. I'll be reblogging things that aren't band soon, and will be very annoying about it. I'll still post about band! But mostly other shit.
Anyways if you think I'm cool you can stick around, like, I'm funny and things, I swear. But im freeing myself from the band nerd chains I created years ago.
I love all of you and I thank you for following me as a humble band kid, but I am also letting you know this blog isn't staying the same. If you don't want to stick around that's cool also as well :) don't feel bad about unfollowing me !

Solo and ensemble but you have to wake up at 5 in the morning on a Saturday to drive half an hour away because your solo is at 8 in the morning, but then your trio is at 11:40 and you have to sit there for three and a half hours waiting.

Hi so our new marching show came out and as much as I am PUMPED to be playing Fall Out Boy

My ex-clarinetist brother has just picked up french horn, and within the span of two days he has broken the string on one on the valves.
I just got really confused cause my new solo is written in Bb trumpet music and the video online is in C trumpet and I was like "they look different why do they sound the same tf"

My band doesnt do competition (yet our new directors might set that up), but we had a game with out football team that is not the greatest and wOW it was something when they won. We went absolutely insane and it felt real good 😌

Heyyy marching band season for me is going to be over by halloween, so any tips of not having an emotional breakdown because I probably won't see my senior friends in person ever again?
Oh yeah theres lots of sadness involved. If you guys have an alumni night then maybe you'll get to see then again?? And if not I guess hug them and then cry. At least theres still the rest of the year :)

We do partialdnds by doing faster/slower lip buzz for higher/lower notes and lots of air and yes you spelt partialdnds correct :))))
