what's your take on ai art

Do you think it'll take over traditional and digital artists :(

How could AI 'art' reasonably take over a commodity which by virtue of its existence is valuable purely for the context by which it's made? Even prior to the AI-surge there existed artists of extraordinary skill and output that simply lacked the artistic and cultural context to give their works the same derived-value as someone less technically-inclined. If technical skill were all that made art valuable to us, we'd have coined it a novelty centuries ago. Image generation will replace a certain category of art: the commercial, the disposable, and nothing more - and that is a monetary downturn for the artist. It's not as though companies, hell, even mid-tiered businesses ever truly lacked the means to buy and fund whatever creative projects they wished to fund prior the burgeoning of AI 'art', and though some have the vanity to try, it never, ever, works - without a discerning vision, they could generate a trillion pretty pictures and lack the eye to pick out the good from the bad between them. The value of art in a purely cultural or contextual sense has never been more significant, if not in direct opposition of this commercialization and laziness.

Okalivember day 18, high altitude

The terikulla is a silent hunter, flying low to the ground and listening for prey under the snow or in the vegetation. It has great hearing, but rather poor sight.

The otirikureze is a small flower that grows in little clusters inbetween rocks, on steep faces that no grazing animal can reach. When they bloom, they fill the air of anything below them with a pleasant perfume for days at a time.

The sarjasorme can be found in slightly lower altitudes, where trees still grow, though they may venture higher on occasion. They are great climbers and have no problem traversing deep snow either.

The fulvous kisulala grows on the side of little streams and rivers. They tend to bloom all at the same time in one given area, and from afar it looks like the rivers have lines of bright orange bordering them.

The moutain spotted zawa is a tiny, gregarious animal. Found in a wide range of altitudes, they can form colonies of up to 50 individuals, creating complex burrow systems to live in.

Exercises for all the homies who want to have a long career drawing.

The true problem with being an artist and drawing all day (as I wanted my whole life) is that human backs are not designed to hold that position, so it is very common for artists and designers to have really stiff shoulder blades, creating a chain of muscle strain towards the arm AND the back… and a lot of pain.

These are some physical exercises for artists and honestly anyone who works at a desk.

A theory I've had is that he has wings but they'd reveal he was a monster created by Nightmare if he used them

One thing that kind of angers me about the Kirby anime is the fact that Meta Knight had wings in the pilot, but not in the actual show.

This was such a cool idea for Meta Knight, why did they have to scrap it? Especially since he had them in the Kirby games.

The wings would’ve been so useful for this scene:

HE COULD’VE FLEW IN AN ATTEMPT TO RESCUE JECRA, BUT HE DID NOTHING 💀💀

I have a headcanon that Meta Knight did have wings in the anime, but during the war his wings were destroyed, and it will take another 400 years just to recover them.

I also wonder if the rest of the GSA had wings too (only Arthur and his men)

Okalivember day 17, colorful!

The purple-legged limuli lives in brackish waters, feeding on dead plant matter. They bright colors hide them among the colorful shore plants that grow in their environment.

The dokilkulla is a mischievous little animal, that spends its days doing elaborate dances to communicate with members of its flock. Surprisingly sneaky despite its colors, it often steals food.

The tiya is a piscivore ungulate that lives in mountains. often diving into the lakes full of rainbow-colored fish, mussels and freshwater shrimp common where it lives. It's known to scrape mussels off of rocks with its antlers.

Ignore the arms on the top left, besides that it's accurate. Glad I managed to fit some 02 in there after all! Bro is looking like a proper final boss 😎
