The new feature, "Colored Light" introduced in the Season of Radiance, allows players to collect eight different base colors that will become available to gather from burning special Dark Plants in the realms. Use these base colors as their own dye, or mix them to create a total 72 colors!
The dye feature can be used with existing items too: Many of your capes, pants, tunics, and more have dyeable areas for you to customize! Preview possible color combinations as you select your favorites. Once you've decided and dyed your design, you can save up to two dyed versions of an item with the "Outfit Styles" option.
Additionally, dyes can not only be obtained by burning dye plants in realms but also from Season of Radiance spirits and future event guides
Bonus points if their โevilโ plans actually benefit more people than they harm, but the media either doesnโt connect the dots or purposely misrepresents them
That old apartment building with a scummy landlord? Evacuate the block, steal everything from it, then knock it down
That company the exploits workers? Their delivery trucks mysteriously never make it to their stores and they have to shut down, local charities start getting random donations of brand new items
That one racist/homophobic/generally awful politician? Killed on their way to work, with no other casualties
Things that are deliberately not accidents, but that people slowly start realizing are actually more positive than negative
i thought of a cool evil villain:
their entire philosophy is "there cannot be good without evil, and the world is too good, so i'll be the evil"
they say that they do this for fun, with the excuse being that they have to "maintain the balance"
they're actually quite kind and compassionate; their evil plans are specially engineered to never actually cause any life-threatening problems

i literally love when people realize positive reinforcement works like yes its so silly isnt it. but it literally works humans love juice reward too
Look at this art my friend made itโs freaking awesome dude great job
Random linguistic worldbuilding: A language with six sets of pronouns, which are set by one's current state of existence. There's a separate pronoun for people who are alive, people who are dead, and potential future people who are yet to be born, and the ambiguous ones of "may or may not be alive or aleady dead", "may or may not have even been born yet", and the ultimate general/ambiguous all-covering one that covers all ambiguous states.
The culture has a specific defined term for that tragic span of time when a widow keeps accidentally referring to their spouse with living pronouns. New parents-to-be dropping the happy surprise news of a pregnancy by referring to their future child with the "is yet to be born" pronoun instead of a more ambiguous one and waiting for the "wait what did you just say?" reactions.
Someone jokingly referring to themselves with the dead person pronouns just to highlight how horrible their current hangover is. A notorious aspiring ladies' man who keeps trying to pursue women in their 20s despite of approaching middle age fails to notice the insult when someone asks him when he's planning to get married, and uses the pronoun that implies that his ideal future bride may not even be born yet.
A mother whose young adult child just moved away from home for the first time, who continues to dramatically refer to their child with "may or may not be already dead" until the aforementioned child replies to her on facebook like "ma stop telling people I'm dead" and having her respond with "well how could I possibly know that when you don't even write to us? >:,C"
reblog to give the person you reblogged it from a little heart lollipop
I was a dreams moth! Back then the seasons were much more obvious due to how small the maps were, which made it very easy for me to find. I was able to find and complete some of the quests even before Iโd made it through to the end of valley/wasteland with the help of a friend. Of course I locked myself out of the area and failed the challenges numerous times, but thatโs beside the point.
Hey I'm curious. Did anyone not get any cosmetics during their starter season because they didn't understand the game?
Bonus: Reblog and tell me the season that you got sky during, helps with the sample size.
My story/ramble under the cut
I'm a passage moth, but...... I had absolutely no idea there were cosmetics or even seasons when I started last year. I played up through forest and stopped at Valley, as I just didn't get what I was doing. So... result is i have nothing from my starting season.
