A necropolis is basically just a fancy graveyard. A lot of the pictures I’ve seen is where there are big graves in the sides of hills, but that’s not always the case. I recently decided that they’re in the land of the dead rather than just some separate world, so it thankfully fits!! :)

This is some concept art I made for my digital art class. It’s a game I’d like to make one day. It’s called Necropolis and it follows Detective Burns, a detective with a flaming passion for justice, and Pail, a human who’s really not supposed to be here. I haven’t decided much past that.

Next assignment is an animation relating to this, so expect a cutscene maybe?
