Do I want a Batfam musical or do I actually want a Robins musical that is very similar to Six: The Musical, where they all fight over who was the best robin.
Palpatine: Join the dark side and together-
Anakin: Hold on let me ask Obi-wan
Palpatine: Wait that’s not-
Anakin: He said no.
the complaints about people shipping clones together isnt some separate issue to the whitewashing and racism in star wars fans, its all a part of the same problem. its fetishisation of māori men, and in many ways enforces the racist and innacurate stereotypes of māori being incestuous. the act of shipping clones together is blatantly racist, and its incredibly ignorant to think that should be separated from the uwwtbb movement
As much as what can be inferred about a fictional culture while also understanding that human influence will be projected. We can take a guess for the association of at least 4 colours.
Green, white, red, and yellow. These being the colours of martians that have popped up in dc comics.
Green is obviously a well known being the colour of the main and most well known Martian. I imagine green still holds the symbolism life and prosperity as it does in a lot of earth culture
White however is not looked up in a positive sense due to the destruction the white martians. It likely doesn’t have any of the positive connotations that it does on earth ie purity, cleanliness, light, but it def has the negative connotations that earth has about “white” and “whiteness” (I say as a white person, we highkey suck)
Yellow as martians have one notable characteristic in which they tried to invade earth, otherwise there’s not much to infer.
Red being the colour of the entire planet definitely has similar symbolism to what earth has to green and blue. That being it’s common and in abundance, it may have symbolized prosperity as well before the war and disease wiped out a lot martian kind.
Then as for other colours
Orange is the most common colour of fire so I think itd be the colour rooted in fear and aversion
Blue is a rare colour for martians to find in nature, hence why it makes up a lot of Mmh suit. Also the Martian sunset appears blue (this is actual real life fact btw) so it my also be associated with renewal
Indigo likely has similar connotations that blue has if it’s a shade close to blue rather than red that is.
Violet is barely a colour on earth, humans fill in the gaps of light and boom purple. It is fully possible that the Martian comprehend violet light in a way humans can’t.
Black would be whites opposite, as it is on earth, but take on the positive connotations to whites negative connotations. It would be associated with calm and curiosity.
Hey, hey, I have a question, DC lore knowers
Do you have any canon material/headcanons about color associations in Martian culture? If not, would you like to treat this post as a long discussion to figure it out?
I got a sudden urge to know it and I don't feel like I know enough about the Martian culture in general to make it up. Plus, I have only my European perspective to aid me and I know it varies between cultures on Earth alone so it probably be better if more people worked on it.
But, you know. I think this topic has potential to be fascinating.
Fox and Thorn shenanigans. They found some matching sunglasses in the garbage and decided to model them via Space Snapchat.

I just want to give all the clones some nice fuzzy sweaters. Is that so much to ask.
Suo: It’s pride month Sakura, you know what that means :)
Sakura: What- do you want me to like? Punch gay people?
Nirei: No-
Fox: You say “please” and “thank you” in front of the shinies all the time and they never repeat it.
Fox: But when you say “fuck” or “I want to murder the Chancellor” ONCE—
wait this is funnier
the chancellor falls down a flight of stairs and fox is obligated by workplace norms to send a card or something
