Asexuality.

It’s completely normal. Just likes it’s completely normal for some people to be interested in sex.

Sex is like... a side quest. Y’know in video game.

It’s not necessary to complete your goal most of the time unless it’s a specific goal, and even then there can be ways around it, that could be likened to cheat codes. Some people enjoy side quests, some like them occasionally, others like to play them constantly; sometimes hindering their process on their main goal. And some people hate them in general.

That’s not to say ace people can’t have sex or that all are sex repulsed, it’s just an example. Some people don’t typically do the side quests but will occasionally endulge in them. Whether because they want to or because they want to share the experience with someone. That doesn’t make them any less of an gamer in that sense, so why would it an ace occasionally having sex make them any less ace.

As an ace, I’m not met with prejudice on the daily, unlike some people, but having people tell you that your sexuality doesn’t exist because you just haven’t blossomed yet is... Brainwashing. That’s probably not the best term but I can’t think of a better on. Drilling the idea that sex is something that you are supposed to o and except and like to be fully developed is a horrible thing to insinuate.

I don’t expect people to get better about this, people are horny, but that’s my two cents.

Hello, my fellow fanwork creators. Sorry to interrupt, but there's an important information you all should pay attention to.

In short, everyone who is eligible to vote for the election of OTW (they run AO3 and Fanlore), should vote against the candidate Tiffany G. If you have donated over 10$ to AO3 in the past year, you are eligible to vote for yourself, and for us, for every Archive of Our Own user, especially the creators in China. This is a very serious question.

In Tiffany's statement, they want to build a more strict censorship policy in AO3. They also talked about limiting the adult content so this website would "have a better image to public". And they said China banned AO3 because of "pedophilic content" but as a Chinese myself, we all know it's just because my country prohibits any sex-related website. So basically, if this Tiffany succeed to get a seat of OTW, AO3 will face more strict censorship, limited adult content, and for we, for Chinese users, the result would be more catastrophic.

Tiffany G also mentioned that they work in a governmental organisation in China. Just consider why a pro-censorship, fandom newbie(Tiffany said it themself), and government staff wants to run for the election of an organisation that is holistically against their agenda. In my personal worst imagination, once they got the seat, they will immediately pack all the information of Chinese users in AO3 and report them to the Government. The consequence will be horrible.

Please, vote for yourself, for us, and for the future of our favourite fanwork site. If you are not an eligible voter and you wanna do something, please let more people receive this information. Thank you.

If you're a disabled American who can't get married because you'd lose your medical coverage, I have an option for you

Handfasting Ceremonies. These are ancient pagan marriage ceremonies (but you don't have to necessarily be a pagan to do them) that are still practiced today where a couple’s hands are bound together to represent the binding of their souls. It's an official marriage ceremony and people need to be ordained to perform them and everything, BUT they’re not considered legally binding in the United States. You can still do them, but they won’t have any legal repercussions. So, if I ever want to get married, I could just do a handfasting ceremony and be married, but not have to legally lose my health coverage. AND handfasting ceremonies are open to same sex couples too!

I've cracked the code. PLEASE SHARE THIS AROUND, THIS COULD BE A GREAT OPTION FOR A LOT OF DISABLED FOLK WHO WANT TO GET MARRIED BUT CAN'T BECAUSE OF BULLSHIT MARRIAGE LAWS!!!
